Title: Personality Test (your Brain Type)

Aaron - September 3, 2005 11:05 PM (GMT)
So this test tells you what type of brain you have in acronym form. Check it out:

http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

http://www.braintypes.com/questionnaire.htm

I'm an INFJ (though very close to an INTJ - I'm very emotional and feeling, but also very annalytical of things as well, which is why the F - feeling, sometimes gets swapped with the T - thinking).

I am:

very expressed introvert
moderately expressed intuitive personality
slightly expressed feeling personality
very expressed judging personality

For the record, only 1 % of the world are INFJs. :(

Take the test and see what you are! Any INFJs holler at me. There aren't too many to go around.

timecircuits - September 3, 2005 11:29 PM (GMT)
I'm an ENFP, only 3% of us in the world.
This is some of what it said about me:
"The Champion Idealists are abstract in thought and speech, cooperative in accomplishing their aims, and informative and extraverted when relating with others. For Champions, nothing occurs which does not have some deep ethical significance, and this, coupled with their uncanny sense of the motivations of others, gives them a talent for seeing life as an exciting drama, pregnant with possibilities for both good and evil.
This type is found in only about 3 percent of the general population, but they have great influence because of their extraordinary impact on others."

Hope that wasn't too much info.
I think others need to have a go, this could be quite interesting.

Apparently I'm a INTP, so I'm an introvert, I rarely think what I'm doing because I'm extremely intuitive and percieving.

I checked this out, apparently other INTP's are Socrates, Pascal, Netwon, Einstein, Jung himself and of course... Rick Moranis :lol:

Pretty heavy group eh?

^ I'm and ENFJ! That's pretty close.
Only 2-3% of people in the world!

Famous ENFJ's include: David, King of Israel (Is that the Star of David was named after?), Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, and Oprah Winfrey (OPRAH!). Lol

I'm ESFJ

slightly expressed extrovert

slightly expressed sensing personality

distinctively expressed feeling personality

moderately expressed judging personality

Wow;
http://keirsey.com/personality/sjef.html
That's actually pretty accurate! Right down to my job description! (I'm not a sales rep though, don't worry!) :lol:
The only part that was wrong is about remembering people's names! I am hopeless at that! LOL!

Shandy - September 4, 2005 08:48 PM (GMT)
I did the first one am I'm INFJ-

slightly expressed introvert

moderately expressed intuitive personality

distinctively expressed feeling personality

moderately expressed judging personality

apperently.

I wish there was more then just YES/NO answers. I feel different things for different situations. There would have been alot of BUTS and IFs . . .

Madstunts - September 4, 2005 09:40 PM (GMT)
I'm INFJ as well!

* very expressed introvert
* distinctively expressed intuitive personality
* distinctively expressed feeling personality
* slightly expressed judging personality

INFJ's of the board unite!

The description from D.Keirsey sounds like me (except for ESP). The other analysis is too long - I got bored reading it. :)

BCAL / INFJ "Wordsmith"
potential gifted writer; imaginative, conscientious; has concern for the needs and development of others; empathetic; enjoys enriching inner life; methodical; quietly forceful; counselor; language skilled.

If you're even moderately an extrovert than you're not even as close to as shy as I am!

Here's more on crazy me! It's pretty accurate.

Aaron - August 20, 2006 07:24 PM (GMT)
Oooh, double post! Shame on me!

Everyone should check this out: http://www.personalitypage.com/relationships.html

It's about how your personality type can mesh with others. I find this all very interesting, as you can see. :D

Well this me & is quite accurate;
http://www.personalitypage.com/ESFJ_rel.html
Except for a few bits - my home is not organzised and I don't (I hope!) manipulate people or expect something in return or see friendships as 'duty'! :o The very idea seems odd to me!

This part is particularly true. I have quite a group of 'best' friends and I couldn't pick between them! They each give me something unique and I love each one fiercely. Woe betide anyone who messes with a friend of mine!

Yeah, I was reading about your personality type, Kath. You should get your husband to figure out his type and see if he's one of the natural partners they mention for you.

LonePineKath - August 21, 2006 07:34 PM (GMT)
^ He says 'no'! He won't do it!

Oh well... we seem to have managed okay in the 10 years we've known each other, so hopefully we're well suited! :lol: :lol:

(He even proposed to me whilst Earth Angel ws playing! He knows me so well! :D )

Aaron - August 21, 2006 07:48 PM (GMT)
^ Ooh, trés romantíc!

Ah well, guess he doesn't need some computer nerds to tell him who he is and who he loves! Still, I think it's all pretty interesting myself (especially since it seems to be fairly accurate).

Hey, Kath, ever take this test: Famous Leader Test

I took it a while ago, but forgot who I was!

LonePineKath - August 21, 2006 07:55 PM (GMT)
Ha! I'm Mother Theresa! *Kath falls about laughing!*
I don't think I'm sweet enough to be a nun! :lol: My halo slipped long ago! :D

Haha, I'm not smart enought to be even close to Einstein, but whatever!

I think when I did it before I got Ghandi (which is actually much closer to me than Einstein)!

There are only nine choices. I think Mother Teresa is actaully more accurate to you than any of the others, Kath! It's better than being Hitler!

Try the Enneagram Test too:

http://www.enneagraminstitute.com/dis_sample_36.asp

I am the most obvious Four - The Individualist in the world:

http://www.enneagraminstitute.com/TypeFour.asp

Basic Fear: That they have no identity or personal significance

Basic Desire: To find themselves and their significance (to create an identity)

Key Motivations: Want to express themselves and their individuality, to create and surround themselves with beauty, to maintain certain moods and feelings, to withdraw to protect their self-image, to take care of emotional needs before attending to anything else, to attract a "rescuer."

According to http://hurleydonson.com/nine_types.htm:

QUOTE
Four: the Individualist. Fours are emotionally sensitive people — first toward themselves, and then toward others. Emotions, both positive and negative, are the lens through which they view the world. This focus on emotions is both a strength and a weakness. The strength lies in their creative sensitivities which lead them to initiate new and original programs and/or innovative ideas that will enhance existing programs. The weakness lies in their tendency to take everything personally and to identify everything that could go wrong with a project before they are able to give their wholehearted support. When their emotions are balanced with objectivity, Fours excel in communication and relational skills. Fours feel caught in their own ordinariness and so strive to avoid it; they want to feel unique.

Fours lead with the Feeling Center and so are hyper-aware of the world of emotions and human needs, especially their own. Their Support Thinking Center encourages them to analyze and ponder feelings and needs. Their Doing Center is underactualized, and so they do only what feels good, lack self-confidence, and withdraw from the world.

Folks like Virgina Wolf and Edgar Allan Poe are apparently Fours. And being an introverted, thoughtful Four, I find all this very interesting.

They also have a relationship guide to see how you would do with other numbers, as wells as some problems. Personally, I think I'd be most interested in Twos, Sixes, and Nines. I thought it was interesting that is says I seek out a "rescuer" which seems really true, which is why I think I'd need probably a Two or a Six.

I also listened to the Audio Stream, and it said that Fours have to deal with their emotions and don't let go until they're resolved for hours, days, or even years, which is just like me. I can't let go when it comes to emotions. I need closure.
