ok i know outta time is going to answer this...my god i useed to think they were so sexy...first i had a crush on jordan, then donny, then joe then john but never danny...i had the comic book where they had different stories...anyway my favorite new kid song was probably i'll be loving you forever and step by step

I think you're about the same age as me, so I also have a very good memory of when they were huge - from like 1989-91.
I listened to music at a very early age, so although I was never a huge fan of them (I always more liked pop/rock and classic rock), I liked a few songs -- mostly the ballad "I'll Be Loving You Forever".
I wouldn't readily admit that to most people, but it's pretty and sweet pop. ;)
A couple years later, when I bought Weird Al's Off the Deep End album that had "The White Stuff", it made me go back and listen to "The Right Stuff". :lol:

My sisters and I listened to New Kids On The Block.
I bought the 1986 NKOTB album, I was given the other ones as they didn't want them anymore.
Now I got 4 of the NKOTB albums. They are:
New Kids On The Block - still have it on tape, need to get around to buying it on CD to replace the tape that had a piece of it cut off. A copy of it was made prior to the tape's damage.
Hangin' Tough - got this one on tape and CD.
Step by Step - also got this on tape and CD
Merry Merry Christmas - only got this on tape. Hard to find as its no longer produced.
I've listened to mostly the whole album so its hard for me to choose a favorite song out of the whole album.
Damn it! I should really go and listen to this group right now.

Forgot to add "Step by Step" earlier. I just re-listened to it on a CD compilation of 1990 songs and I find myself liking it (and some other songs) alot more now than I did then.
Maybe the 80's (and even to a lesser degree, 90's) nostalgia is just hitting more as I get older, lol. :D
BTW, I don't fault girls for having a crush on them. Even though I am a guy, I'll even admit they're good-looking guys.
