I miss it so much, it's been 10 years or over I bet since I've seen it.

Well, I was looking on an 80's site and I came across this. I remember the title, and I remember Tony Robinson talking while wandering around, and I vaguely remember it being a bit weird, but that's it. I wish I could remember more.

Yeah, you're right. It may have taken along time to get here AND had been a re-run.
It may have been closer to 15 years ago.
I have a spotty memory about it as well.
I remember it had a cool theme song with a camera zooming through the garden and then goes down a well.
It seems like everything is coming out on DVD lately. So I'll just be patient :)
