Wow, been a long time, huh?
Well, anyway, if you've been keeping up with my fan fiction, you'll have noticed that most of the above crossovers were never actually written. Most of them I did just throw out for fun, and had no intention of writing, and a couple I just lost interest in. However, I have written a couple of crossovers:
BTTX -- The Back To The Future/X-Men crossover. Features a mutant version of Doc who can control electricity and a living Jean Grey. I've written but not yet typed a sequel that adds Spider-Man into the mix, "BTTX-2: Time of the Spider." Expect to see Peter, Venom, and Magneto in that one.
Eight Arms To Hold You -- A Back To The Future/Spider-Man sort of crossover. Doc ends up designing and building a set of "Doctor Octopus" arms, and, per the movie Spider-Man 2, gets welded to them. Adventures ensue. This will eventually become a trilogy, with the second and third stories mirroring the stories of canon Part II and III.
Catfight and
The Doc Hunter -- My two big humor stories, I threw in a lot of references and characters from other series I like (most notably Terminator 2)
I'm also working on a story that crosses Back To The Future over with my new favorite webcomic,
Girl Genius. Called "Boy Genius" (duh), it features a teenage version of Doc who has his own series of adventures while Agatha is struggling with her own life. The two will eventually meet up. I'm also getting poked by a Fantastic Four/BTTF plot bunny (which I can't understand, since I hated the FF movie) and "Back To Weird Science/Even Weirder Science" is starting to revive a tad. Can't make any promises for the last two, though.
My very first fanfic story, Down With Big Brother, was a story where I did a crossover between BTTF and Orwell's 1984. I started on a sequel to that story, called Let Freedom Ring - but it's currently on hold. I currently have a story in the making that is a crossover between BTTF and Family Ties. I thought it would be so neat to have the two famous MJF characters on the 1980s meet each other. Oh, yeah, and I really enjoyed writing out the 'Mom, is that you?' scenes.
Down With Big Brother
'Mom? Mom, is that you?' asked Marty, still half-asleep.
'There, there, now. Just relax,' Lorraine told Marty, placing a damp rag on Marty's forehead. 'You've been asleep for almost four hours now.'
'I had a horrible nightmare,' groaned Marty. 'It was terrible. I dreamed I was in a dystopian world from a novel written by George Orwell.'
'Well, you're safe and sound, now,' Lorraine said, soothingly. 'Here in the good ol' Ministry of Truth.'
'Ministry of Truth! Argh!' exclaimed Marty, jerking straight up. Marty was fully awake, now. He sat up in bed, and he saw a familiar looking woman next to him. 'You're my ma - you're my ma.'
'My name's Lorraine,' Lorraine told Marty. 'Lorraine Baines.'
'Yeah, but you're, uh, you're so, you're so thin,' stammered Marty, after taking a close look at his mother's dimensional counterpart. She was wearing blue coveralls - which, in the front, said '4540 Baines L'.
'Just relax now, comrade,' Lorraine told Marty, as she tenderly laid her hand on his forehead. 'You've got a big bruise on your head.'
'So, who are you - if I may ask?' asked George. George was also wearing blue coveralls - which said '7682 McFly G'.'
Marty and Alex
'Mom? Mom, is that you?' Marty asked, still half-asleep. 'I feel so sick and hungry!'
'There, there, now. Just relax,' Elyse told Marty, placing a damp rag on Marty's forehead. 'You've been asleep for almost three hours now.'
'I had a horrible nightmare,' groaned Marty. 'It was terrible. I dreamed I was in a sitcom.'
'Well, you're safe and sound, now,' Elyse said, soothingly. 'Here in the good ol' Keaton household.'
'Keaton household! Argh!' exclaimed Marty, jerking straight up. Marty was fully awake, now. He sat up in bed, and he saw a familiar looking woman next to him. 'Well, you're my... my... my... Who are you?'
'My name's Keaton,' Elyse told Marty. 'Elyse Keaton.'
'Elyse Keaton?' gasped Marty, confused. 'Uh, no, you can't be. It's not possible.' After Marty had stared hard at the woman, he realized she did look like Meredith Baxter-Birney, the actress who played Elyse Keaton on the Family Ties sitcom.
'Just relax now, honey,' Elyse told Marty, as she tenderly laid her hand on his forehead. 'You've got a big bruise on your head.'
'So, who are you - if I may ask?' asked Steven. 'I must say, you bear such a striking resemblance to our son, Alex.'
