The next story of the Hill Valley Telegraph is now online!
Marlene and Marty Junior have come back to 1986 to go to the dance their father is playing at. But complications arise and Doc has to try and figure out how to send them home. Marty meanwhile meets Dr Ritchie Chase, who knows something about Doc's past that Doc himself is completely unaware of.

REDSLICER:
As usual, Great Story!
Funny, you choosed March 10th 1959 as the birthday of Ritchie, my birthday's March 10th 1986! Unbelievable, that you could have chosen that particular date. It could mean that, that point in time inherently contains some sort of cosmic significance. Almost as if it were the junction point for the entire space-time continuum. On the other hand, it could just be an amazing coincidence.
Anyway, great story! It's always a pleasure to read your stories, I can only advise you make more!

HOT FOR DOC:
That was really great, Mike! That was a very interesting bit with Ritchie Chase. I hope you've got more in store for us!
Just one thing, in your Millenium story, Marlene is only one year older than Marty J, right? Then how come she's 2 in this story? I suppose it has to do with different birthdays, but I'm curious.
DOCSGIRL:
dude that was awesome! cant wait to read more!
GIGGLES:
Finally read it through (was playing a game at the same time, heh).
Very good! I liked it.

Ritchie will be featuring in my next story as well, which I will start writing soon.
As for the kids ages, Marlene is 1.5 years older than MJ, so sometimes her age is 2 years older and sometimes her age is 1 year older, depending on the time of year.
RedSlicer: March 10th just happened to be the date I wrote that part of the story on, so maybe it is the junction point of the space time continuum.

FRODO BAGGINS:
Dude, a friendly pointer. You cannot claim to "own" the characters "Jez Needles or Tiffany Tannen" when they are obviously based/stemmed from characters created by the BTTF team.
Not that you'd probably ever have a problem with your statement, it's just that what you're stating is incorrect legally, that's all.
Anyways, I think it's awesome that you've put so much time and energy into your stories. All the best.

SPOILERS BELOW - do not read if you have not read the story!
I liked this story, it is one of your better ones. I liked how the various subplots all tied together, and the joke about Pepsi powered the future Mr Fusion.
Your new character seems an interesting idea, and it's a good spin on the "Doc has more than 2 kids" idea. A lot of fan fics have Jules and Verne getting a younger sister or brother, this one had them getting an older one and was quite unexpected. I didn't know what Ritchie was when we first met him, how he linked to Doc, but finding out he was Doc's son was completely unexpected.
Oh, and I guess we now know who the Ritchie from "No Time Like The Presents" is now!
There was a phonecall, and Clara answered it. "Ritchie, hi, Merry Christmas! How's Guam?" She left the room. Doc turned to Marty.
"She'll be on the phone for ages," he grinned. Marty got the feeling this was the first time Doc had smiled like that for ages. "Help yourself to the food while I talk to Ritchie."
Good little hint of what was to come.
The MJ and Marlene storyline was quite good as well, and the scene at the dance, although not totally original, was written well. I also liked how we had some sibling rivalry between them!
Overall, I'd give the story about 9 out of 10.

Thanks for all the feedback! I'm glad everyone likes the story.
Frodo Baggins: I was unaware I couldn't claim to "own" them. I just said "own" because I created them myself, as well as other characters such as Tom Tannen, Buck Tannen and of course, Ritchie Chase.

I have a real weakness for stories that have Marty Jr or Marlene coming back to the 1980s, and I really enjoy Mike Mahoney's take on it. This is also the story were he introduces his OC, Ritchie Chase. He's Doc's third child, that Doc had with Jill Wooster. He's a physician, and a very lovable character. This story is a must-read!
