Title: Day Light Savings

I've always loved how they designed the time readouts on the DeLoreon. It looks so much like a souped up clock to me and you could even program it through a calculator. I can't help but wonder though how they handled Daylight Savings Time, or if Doc chose not to bother worrying about it.

What do you mean by this? Do you mean that the time would change, because of Daylight Savings Time, so 5:00 would be 6:00 or 4:00 instead? Hmm, this is interesting. How would they figure this out? I do not have the answer, sorry.

Good question. Obviously doc went through a lot of programming to handle things like Daylight savings time, leap years, and so on.

I'm sure, knowing Doc, he did program it to recognize DST.

Also, interesting of note: Some have speculated that the reason the time circuits began to flash "1885" when they were in 1985-A was that the Saturday night/Sunday morning of October 26th/27th was when Daylight Savings ended that year. It was 2:42 when they left, but we don't know for sure if it was supposed to be regular time or DST.

Of course, I, personally, wrote that glitch in my fanfic as something to do with Old Biff.

Hmm... Iteresting... or maybe it just went 10 years back. It's a possibility..
