You got a point

Bumpeddy bump bump!

I know this is gonna be hard (I own/like almost as many movies as I do 80's songs--that'd be alot, LOL!!), but, not counting BTTF, here's my list:

1. UHF (1989) -- Weird Al's starring role! That makes it good enough right there, but the premise of a daydreamer taking over a failing TV station and putting his own brand of humor programming on (at the rival of a well-respected station in town) makes this watchable over & over.

2. Police Academy 4 (1987) -- The best of the series, just before Mahoney and alot of the old-timers left. More lighthearted fun (as opposed to the harsher first two) with citizens being allowed to join the force, much to the chagrin of the human steam machine, Captain Harris!

3. Dennis the Menace (1993) -- An update of the old cartoon strip. So what if it's technically a "kid's" movie, it's alot of fun. :) Oh, Lea is in it too! ;)

4. Ernest Saves Christmas (1988) -- Narrowly the best of the Ernest movies. Here, old Santa Claus meets Ernest and reveals he's looking for a successor--with his sights set on a popular kid's show host. Whether or not you actually believe in SC, it's still a fall down funny, slightly touching movie.

5. Vice Versa (1988) -- IMHO the strongest of the "switch" comedies popular at the end of the 80's. Here a divored, overworked and uptight but well-meaning dad swaps bodies with his slightly smart aleck, rocker 11-year-old son.

6. Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) -- Hilarious, but also slightly serious/moving comedy about this out of work actor who gets divorced from his wife. When she puts in an ad for a "babysitter" he, umm, applies - undercover!

7. Happy Gilmore (1996) -- Adam Sandler before he started getting predictable and playing 2-year-olds in a 32-year-old man's body, LOL. Anyone who's played golf could probably identify with his character.

8. Ghostbusters (1984) -- Lighthearted paranormal comedy/horror/action film everyone knows!

9. Honey I Blew Up the Kid (1992) -- Actually superior to "Shrunk the Kid" - this time Wayne has a blow-up machine that accidentally enlarges his near-infant son, eventually causing havoc around Las Vegas. I liked the more sights seen, as opposed to just the backyard in the original.

10. Encino Man (1992) -- Ahh, Pauly Shore. One of my favorite 90's icons! Silly as it may be, I love the idea of two semi loser-but-cool teen guys digging up a caveman and introducing him to high school life.
