Title: Ban On Fox Hunting

This topic is one for anyone who has an opinion on the matter, not just UK residents.
Who here supports the Commons decision to ban fox hunting with hounds in England and Wales?
Personally I think it is a load of crap that a room of dumb-ass politicians are alowed to decide to ban it. It should be down to the public in the most affected places, such as Wales and Somerset. It is peoples livlihood that these so called politicians are destroying. It is like banning football, that is also peoples livlihood.
The decision rests with a buch of biased politicians. It just doesn't seem fair on those it affects the most.
Any opinions on this would be great, even from those in other countries.

I think any kind of hunting should be banned!
Bears, fox, rabbit, duck. The only kind of hunting that should not be banned is PEOPLE hunting! Some smart guy that works in a lab should make all animals learn how to use a gun and to have radar to know the people that hunt animals and hunt people so that the bear that you want to hunt, EATS YOU!
Every single hunter should learn how it feels to be hunted and eated later...OR BE KILLED FOR YOUR FUR! I hate fur wears...how would you like it if a animal killed you and made a coat out of your skin to keep the animal warm!?!
I HOPE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME "HUNTING" TERM!

I am not to familar witht his topic, but I think they shoudln't ban it if the people depend of the foxes for their lives and jobs.

killing another animal doesn't help people,Need if for food?Go to the store
Need if for fur?DON'T WEAR IT...buy a norm. jacket,it could keep you just as warm.

^When I said that the people might depend on the foxes for their lives I meant that their only source of income is through fox hunting. If they cannot hunt foxes they won't have money to got o the sstore to buy food or get a regular jacket. Even if they don't like having to kill the foxes they might need to so their family doesn't die. I am not sure if they depend on hte foxes for their money though so this could fall through easily depending on that fact.

Well my uncle hunts, His basement has got a few heads.
But I dunno where i stand on the whole hunting scene.
