I'm getting my first cell phone on sat. and i'm very happy about it!
Verizon is the company i'm using and the phone is the Kyocera SE47 which is the Slider phone.It slides up and down which i think is cool.(I like to be different)The phone comes with Internet(for when i'm bored in school i'll come here,lol)and has Get It Now which lets me download ringtones,games,and a bunch of other stuff.
If you have a cell phone which phone do you have and what company is it with.
Go to verizonwireless.com,click by products,then on phones and go down and when you see Kyocera SE47 you'll see my phone.
And on the homepage on the bottom there is a link to Get It Now which will tell you what Get It Now gives you.

That's tight man. I might be gettin a cell for my b-day in October, cause thats really the only thing i want besides some cd's and some other little things. The cell my mom has gets Internet too. I think that's phat, I would use that a lot. Congrats Beanie.

thanks...i want the internet because this one is slow.Maybe i will end AOL and just use MSN(which is what the phone has)

I don't have a cell phone now but I may be getting one soon also. We might need to change servers but after that I will get one soon and reply to this topic.

I have a Motorola flip phone. It's pretty nice..has a color display etc. I just wsh I could download ring tones tho. My carrier is Telus Mobility..which are okay. Better than Rogers AT&T like I had before. This plan is way more affordable since I don't use it that often and don't need lots of minutes.

WELL SAY BYE TO THE Kyocera SE47 because i don't have it.
I went there and they said that they just got rid of that.(not Verizon but the store)so i was looking around and saw a flip LG VX4500.So i got that one.It has internet,65K color screen,i can download ringtones and wallpaper.Get live video,Send and recive e-mail,send and recive IM,text messages,screensavers,downloadable games.
I think everyone can download ringtones:Just go to ringtones.com
I can't because i have verizon,we have all the ringtones we need all on out phone.

This may sound like a stupid question. Are Cell phones the same as mobile phones. Or are they slightly more comlpex and expensive.
On the subject, I have a Samsung T100 flip phone that I have had for about a year now, before that I had a Samsung A800 flip phone and before that an Alcatel sumfin-or-other. Can't remember name.

^ I used to be on Virgin Mobile, had an AudioVox Crap100 phone. (Cant remember the actual name).
I have since moved to Rogers Wireless, and have a Nokia 6085.. prolly the simplest MP3 phone ever made. Interested in buying the New Sony Ericson, its kinda cool, has motion sensors to change the songs and everything... 2MP camera (pretty high q. for a cell)... but i need like $300 to buy it, and i stopped working at McDonalds last week.
Anyone interested in buying the Apple iPhone? its not available yet in Canada :(
