Description: Screen Used or not?

Do you think the Delorean outside the ride at USF was really used in the bttf movies.
I don't,i seen the inside and the car in USF has many things that are different.

I have never seen in in person but it does not look screen used to me. If it is screen used they changed it a lot (like the Mr. fusion and some stuff inside the DeLorean).

It looks like from the pictures that it's too 'different.'
I think like what Alternate Strickland said that maybe it is, they just changed a lot of things. :D

^cool...that might be true...but i don't know why Universal would change all those things.

I shall scrap what I said before as I have changed my mind, I am not sure why I said what I did in the first place. Anyway, no, now that I remember it cannot be a screen used one, it is really in a far too good a condition. As for the train, I believe that it is screen used.
Doctor_McFly89 - July 29, 2004 08:48 AM (GMT)
No, it's not screen used. I do think that the train is though.

Many people do seem to think that the Delorean is not screen used but the train is.
There is a chance that the train is real. They do take care of it better and they do have a bigger gate around it.

Yes, that is true, if it was screen used, they would not let you scramle all ovcer it, think of all those sticky fingerprints on the bodywork.

yep,i jumped the rail in aug. and i was trying to open the door but it didn't open. Then i put my arm on the car door and took a picture.I have 2 pic like that, one during the day and one at night.

I'm going to Universal Studios Florida (Finally) next week. I will finally be able to get a picture of me and the Delorean. I can't wait.
By the way, does anyone know if the BTTF Store is still there? Do they still have BTTF merchandise?
BeanieRobert2001 - January 16, 2005 11:00 PM (GMT)
O cool have fun!
The bttf store is still there and there is still BTTF stuff there. There is a few new stuff that they haven't had before.
Be sure to ride the Revenge Of The Mummy ride!It is the BEST ride in USF!
Hoverboardkid - January 17, 2005 02:20 PM (GMT)
OK I will. Hopefully I'll get some more BTTF merchandise to spazz up my room with.

If you think about it, would they really want to spend more money on making another time train. I am sure only one was ever made for the film (no reason why there should have been more), so my opinion is that the train is real, as the costs of converting yet another steam train into a time train would be far too high. A DeLorean would be cheaper and easier to come by than a steam train, and would cost less to convert.
As BeanieRobert said, that would explain the larger barriers around the train. When I was there, the train had wrought iron railings about 6.5feet high, while the DeLorean just had a modern steel barrier about 2.5feet height, I could easily lean over and touch the car without much effort.
