FireTrails - June 6, 2004 12:19 AM (GMT)
I just found out some bad news...Ronald Reagan died. :( Being that he was a big part of the Trilogy, I thought we could all honor him in this thread. Best wishes to the Reagan family!

If you look where it says "MORE FROM THE LEGACY OF RONALD REAGAN" on the bottom you can find about 15 more articles on him.
RIP- My thoughts are with you, you brought good to this country and hopefully you had a good life back.

He's was a great president from what I heard.
I wish I had known more about him. And I wish I had been living when he was pres. :(
Earth has lost another good man.

R.I.P Ronald Reagan.
He was a good president and a good person and I am glad he had a full life and is now free of pain. I still which that he accepted the role of the Mayor of Hill Valley in BTTF Part III but I guess he was too busy.
"Welcome to the Cafe 80s, where its always morning in America, even in the afternoon-noon-noon."-Ronald Reagan.

^ Yeah, when Part 3 came out in mid 1990 (filmed in late '89/early '90 probably) he had just barely retired from office. He'd have made a good Hubert. :D
I don't wanna get into his politics or if I agreed with it or not, but even though I knew he was sick for almost 10 years and knew this would happen sooner or later, it's still sad. :( He seemed like a good man, and he certainly had a sense of humor. I only remember him a teeny bit when he was president - a few speeches on TV are vaguely familiar from the late 80s, but I knew of him pretty well from seeing footage afterwards.
He's also older than I thought. If he was 93, that means, during his presidency, he was 69-77 years old (from November 1980-88). He didn't seem like it. Rest in peace, Ronnie. We'll all miss you. :)

Its funny how a lot of American presidents are the kind of age where most people are retiring from work (presumably because they are no longer up to the job)
Just a thought.

Ronald Reagan? The Actor?
That was actually Ronald Reagan's favorite part.

Michael J Fox? The actor? Then who's Vice-President? Marc Price? I suppose Tracy Pollan is the First Lady... and Scott Valentine is the Secretary of Treasury!

Ronald Reagan's favorite show is Family Ties.

Isn't Marc Price the guy who played Skippy?

And Scott Valentine is Nick.

Right. Well, if Michael J Fox did end up being US President - the part about Tracy Pollan as the First Lady would be right. It's one thing you have to admire about Michael. It's kind of unusual for Hollywood marriages to last like that.
