What are your favorite book(s), and your favorite series?

I'll post mine later.

Lord of the Rings!

There's a lot of great books out there but that's the only one I know for sure without a doubt.

My reading is quite varied. :) I never know what I'm gonna like or not, but a few include:

As far as horror stories, alot of Stephen King's stuff, as well as the Fear Street series by R.L. Stein, which is like a shorter, more lightheated version of the same kind of stories.

For straight fiction, Blade Runner was cool (cause it was futurized, heh). Also, many others which is too hard to pick just a few from.

I read alot of biographies/non-fiction kind of stuff. Jay Leno's bio was particularly good, as well as MJF's, Jerry Springer, and tons of others. I also like Nintendo Power, Billboard/music/entertainment publications, etc.

My fav book is Ethan Fromme - perfectly plotted, just the way I like it.

To Kill A Mockingbird was good, once you got out of the unnecessarily drawn-out first half and the pace and plot picks up. Very good come the end.

I love L. Frank Baum's Oz stories. One hundred years old and classics (the movie did it no justice  ).

And I utterly abhor Steven King. He's everything that's wrong with literature. Michael Crichton, too. Nobody writes that many books and has something poignant to say.

Spiderman comics are fun to read though, but I don't know if they count as books.

Well, they are classed as comics. I am not sure what actually makes a book a book.
