I've seen a lot of movies with Michael J Fox in it. I watched Time After Time, which had Mary Steenburgen in it. I just recently watched Freaky Friday featuring Lindsay Lohan (before her life became all messed up), and Mark McClure reprised his role as Boris - who had a more prominent role in the Jodie Foster version. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be the same Boris, but why not? They could occur in the same universe.

I watched What's Eatiing Gilbert Grape a long time ago, but I don't remember what the movie is about. I only remember a few scenes. I should maybe watch it again. What roles did Crispin Glover and Mary Steenburgen play?

I saw both those Freaky Fridays.

Mary Steenburgen played Betty Carver and Crispin Glover played Bobby McBurney.

Sounds awesome! Do you think it was the same Boris. It would be even neater, if Jodie Foster also made a cameo appearance in the second version. Maybe she could be a co-worker of Tess, and she tries to convince Tess to go easier on her daughter.

I think it is the same Boris. Ever seen both versions of the Parent Trap? Vicky from the first movie played Meredith's mother, Vicky, in the 1998 movie. I like to think it's the same Vicky.

Oh, I haven't really noticed that. I'll have to watch the movies (both versions) again.

I guess Lea Thompson had a role in Jaws 3-D.

I haven't seen that Jaws.

I haven't seen any of them, but I just thought I'd point that out - since Jaws was mentioned in BTTF2.

I recently watched What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Within a half-hour of the movie, Crispin Glover and Mary Steenburgen actually do share a scene together - when they're eating out at the diner. Crispin is one of Gilbert's friends, while Mary Steenburgen is with her family.

In a way, it's a little freaky to see Johnny Depp and Mary Steenburgen together - as Johnny Depp is two years younger than Michael J Fox, while sharing a birthday with him. Granted, Clara Clayton was actually closer in age to Marty McFly - than he was to Doc Brown, but it still seemed strange.

I thought Gilbert's girlfriend was played by Juliette Lewis.

By the way, Sweet Home Alabama also has Courtney Gains in it.

Well, that's the girl he ends up falling in love with - but, before that, Mary Steenburgen played the character who was attracted to Gilbert, and was cheating on her husband.

Not forgetting Charlie's Angels had Crispin Glover in it. As did Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
Oh yes, and Michae J Fox was in 'The Frighteners'. Theres a funny blooper from that film which crosses with BTTF. Watch it here. It's funny.
Also he was in Doc Hollywood, that is a good film. Plus Mars Attacks! Where he gets killed.
Not a film but had to mention. He was in 2 episodes of Scrubs as Dr Kevin Casey. Who suffered from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Oh, yeah, I've seen that blooper from The Frighteners! It's obvious that MJF looks fondly on his days of BTTF.
