In this thread, here is where I'm going to do my planning for my universe traveling story. I decided against a phone booth and to use a Delorean.

Here's the universes I'm having Doc and Marty visit:

-Calvin Klein Universe
-Non-Trilogy (Biff marries Lorraine and Doc takes up project and marries Jill Wooster)
-Retro-Futuristic Universe
-Orwellian Universe
-Twin Pines Universe
-Twins Universe (bttf4444's)
-Almanac Universe (bttf4444's)

I haven't decided what universe they will visit and in what order.

Do you have any suggestions, bttf4444?

It sounds like a great start. Here's the order I'd probably use:

1. Calvin Klein Universe (Marty is now 47 years old)
2. Orwellian Universe (Marty doesn't exist)
3. Twins Universe (Marty has a twin)
4. Retro-Futuristic Universe (Marty is determined to invent rock and roll)
5. Non-Trilogy Universe (Marty doesn't exist)
6. Almanac Universe (Marty has a twin)
7. Twin Pines Universe (original timeline)

Here's why: There's a certain pattern to what I've suggested, and I think the Twin Pines Universe would be the best place for Doc and Marty to visit last. It would sort of be like temporarily returning to the original timeline.

When I did my dimensional hopping fic, I also had a certain pattern.

1. The Twins Universe was the first one Doc and Marty visited, and the Almanac Universe was the last one.

2. The visit to the Calvin Universe was an interlude of sorts, since I probably won't be expanding on that universe.

3. The four universes visited after the Calvin Universe are all drawn from previous timelines that "our" Marty has been a part of.

4. Since I had first introduced the Twin Universe Universe in my Twins Universe fic, Kidnapped - I'd figured it'd only be fitting to began the final four chapters with that.

5. The Newlyweds Universe and the Gravestone Universe both involved Doc and Clara starting their family in the 1980s - so the former is visited right after the Twins Universe, and the other is visited right before the Almanac Universe.

6. After visiting the Twins Universe and the Newlyweds Universe, Doc and Marty decide to go home. At first, things appear to be successful - until Doc realizes Haven is a year older.

7. This arrangement left me with the Parker Universe being the fourth place Doc and Marty visited. Of course, it was strange knowing that the Jennifer of this urniverse remembered the Twin Pines Timeline - which kind of foreshadowed where they end up after the interlude (Calvin Universe).

For Calvin Klein Universe, don't you mean Marty is 47 years old?

Why exactly do your universe numbers begin with EJ?

I just picked a couple of random letters. No particular reason.

I know your bttf universes begin with EJ. Didn't your Family Ties universe have different letters?

Oh, yeah, I did! I just picked the letters randomly, but I figured the BTTF Universes would all have the same letters. I'm not sure if the Orwell Universe and the ASOUE Universe would, even though I did include BTTF characters in both universes. The Orwell Universe was mostly just extrapolated from the BTTF Universe - but, for the ASOUE Universe, I decided to connect the Quagmires with the McFlys.
