Isn't it ironic how, just before sending Marty back to 1885, Doc chides Marty for not thinking fourth dimensionally? Yet, he wasn't thinking fourth dimensionally when Marty first appeared on his doorstep - or even when Marty just returned after sending his slightly younger self back to 1985?
