Title: Eric Clapton

He is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. I loved how he waited nearly a whole decade just to get Pattie Boyd as his wife. He wrote "Layla" about her when she was still married to George Harrison. He even told George at a party that he was in love with Pattie.
What really bothered me was that when he finally did get her, he cheated on her. He even had two kids who were a result of his affairs. Conor, the one who died at age 5, was one of them. You would think that if he waited nearly a decade for her, that he would never cheat.

Yeah, that isn't right. Normally, I would say that someone's sex life should be of no concern to the public - but when you cheat on someone, you're hurting your partner.
As far as the music goes, I like some of his songs - but I'm not a huge fan. I like After Midnight, though.

I really like "Layla" and "Wonderful Tonight", both written for Pattie. I also like "Sunshine of Your Love" by Cream, a band he was in back in the '60s.
He was in the Yardbirds and was replaced by Jeff Beck, who was later replaced by Jimmy Page.

I like Shape of Things by The Yardbirds. I think that was when Jeff Beck was in the band.

It's funny how the Yardbirds' three most famous members were never in it at the same time. But their most famous members were all lead guitarists.

I never heard the Yardbirds' music, but they must be good if Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page have played in it.
