Okay, one thing George McFly and Lorraine Baines had in common - even before they fell in love - is that they were both bullied by Biff Tannen. They were bullied in different ways, though. What's the best way to describe the difference?

I'm thinking of using the same contrast between pre-crisis and post-crisis Jamie Brown, with regards to Griff Tannen. He never made Jamie do his homework - or commit a crime - but, in the pre-crisis timeline, he made it clear that he found her ugly and repulsive.

Also, would you say Marty was bullied by Biff in a similar way as George was - even though Marty was bold enough to stand up to Biff from the beginning?

Biff wants George to do his work and he wants Lorraine to be his girl.

Yeah, that's about right.

On side note, Biff/George slash fic might be pretty interesting. A few have been written already, I think. I know you yourself have theorized Spike having the hots for Marty Jr. I'm a little uncertain in that area, but I see where you're coming from. Biff might have harassed other girls in the same manner as he haassed George, though.

I don't think Needles has ever harassed Jennifer.

It must be dangerous being an attractive girl in Hill Valley. In Hill Valley, there's always a bully in your age group who will harass you.

As for Spike having the hots for Marty Jr, I changed my mind about that.

Why is that?

I dunno. I just lost interest.

I never really thought that Spike had any sort of attraction for Marty Jr. In spite of being sort of cute, he kind of was a bit of a loser. I always thought they shouldn't mentioned something about Griff crushing after Marlene, though - but I guess Marlene was mostly just added in as a joke, anyway. A lot of fanfic writers, including Mary Jean Holmes, tend to imagine Marlene as having a different sort of appearance in the final timeline - because of their discomfort with her being Michael J Fox in drag.

Aren't you one of the very few who does have her look as she did in the movie, sans the Haven Universe?

Yeah, I think Flaming Trails and I are two of the very few people that do. Although, maybe Kristen Sheley does as well. I'm not positive, though.
