Title: Crispin Glover Hates Children's Art

On the Crispin Glover boards at IMDb, someone made a post about his son being in a thrift store in Salt Lake City, and a friend (photographer) was having a donated gallery showing of children's art for a benefit and asked Crispin Glover if he would like to attend, and Mr. Glover's answer was "I hate children's art". He was not kidding, he said it in a very hateful manner and then walked out of the store.

Wow! Does he say that about his own children?

Crispin doesn't have any kids.

Oh, okay, you mean the IMDB user's son. Guess I misunderstood the post. I like Crispin Glover as George, but Crispin Glover himself does seem like a jerk.

Yeah, I meant the IMDb user's son. Crispin was never married.
I don't think Crispin Glover's a jerk, but he does seem kind of weird.

I see! I know some people who slash CG/MJF, but I don't think they've ever had that kind of relationship. I wonder how the two have gotten along, for the most part.

Crispen Glover has been referred to as many things while on set, I once read in an interview someone saying that Crispen was "A nightmare to work with, and a horrible human being"

Being that i've never interviewed him (I tried), I can't really hold an opinion. However most of the cast that I have been able to talk to speak very down about him.

What about Michael J Fox, though? I can't really imagine him hating anyone, or even disliking anyone - except for maybe people like Adolf Hitler and Osama Bin Laden. I think he tries to be pleasant and friendly to everyone. I once head that Sean Penn was really the only actor he didn't get along with - and that's because Sean Penn was a method actor, and he played a very mean character on Casualties of War.

I agree, Michael J. Fox seems to be a very nice person. It would be cool to meet him some day.

One of these days, I'll have to get up my courage to write him. :)

I think Crispin Glover had a lot of charisma as George McFly, and I loved how he played a similar role in High School USA. The Bobs did say that he was the hardest person to work with, though.

I never realized it before, but Crispin Glover looks a lot like Dick York.
