Title: If Marty Was A Teen Today...
Description: what do you suppose he'd be like?

How do you suppose he'd dress? What music do you suppose he'd listen to? What do you suppose about him would be different or the same?
What if Marty went back to the 1970s (30 years ago)? What do you suppose he'd like about that decade, and not like so much?
Just something to speculate about. What do you suppose George, Lorraine, and Biff would be like - as teenagers in the 1970s?

I think he would dress the same. Maybe he loses the suspenders because he would get laughed at for wearing them. I think he would still like 80s music, but I think he would like some of today's rock and roll. I think Marty would love visiting the 70s. Of course, he would miss the internet. I think Lorraine would be a feminist type if she was a teen in the 70s. Biff's hair would be longer, probably Marty's length. George would still be a geek, and probably have longer hair.

Yeah, I don't see Marty liking ap, regading of when he grew up. I guess, in my universe, Marty Jr is pretty much answers the question of what "our" Marty may be like, if he was born 30 years - and Martin pretty much answers the question of what "our" Marty may be like, if he was born in Ireland and moved to the states a little over a century ago. I think Marty would be much happier visiting the '70s than the '50s.
I'd actually see Biff being an ultra-conservative type who hates rock and roll. I know we usually expect the bully types to listen to very loud and angry-sounding music - but, because the concept of "peace and hamony" is what drives the hippie movement, bullies would typically rebel against that movement. So that's that. George may actually fit in a little more, since part of the "hippie spirit" is trying to make everyone feel included. Marty may actually have a little easier time getting his parents together - but, even if Lorraine had feminist tendancies, she'd probably still want for her man to be strong.

Most Rock and Roll fans hate Disco. I think Biff would prefer Rock and Roll over Disco.

I guess, by 1975, the hippe/psychedelic movement would pretty well be over - so maybe Biff would listen to punk, and maybe The Sex Pistols would be his favourite band. That was a band with an attitude!

Marty's obsessed with Rock and Roll.

That's what Calvin always says, in the Twins Universe - and that sometimes irritates Marty. It doesn't have to be a bad thing, though. We all have our passions.
Yeah, if Marty was a teen in the '70s, he's also have to cope with his rival liking the same music as him. :)
