For Marty McFly, I guess I'd give him Best Smile - as he's got that gorgeous lopsided smile.

You would probably also give him Friendliest and Best Eyes.

Yeah, I would give him all three - if more than one award could be given to a single student.

I think it could be done. When I was in high school, we just write the names of any senior we want and those who get the most nominations win. Nobody ever said we can't write the same names for different awards. In my senior year, we actually had "Most Likely to Live in the OC"
Anyway, back on subject, didn't you also have George and Lorraine, Marty and Jennifer, and Marty Jr. and Harmony all win Best Couple in one of your stories?
I think Jennifer would also win best eyes and best smile.
bttf44 - September 25, 2007 04:49 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I did! That was Time Switched. :)
needles1987 - September 28, 2007 04:09 PM (GMT)
I wonder what Marty Jr would win in 2016.
bttf44 - September 28, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)
It depends on which timeline we go by. In the original timeline, I'm not sure. If we borrow certain aspects from the Number Two script, then Marty Jr wouldn't be very intellectual. Then again, the Norman and Doris from that script were portrayed rather differently from Marty Jr and Marlene in the movie - so I don't know. In the final timeline, though, he'd probably be a candidate for all the similar awards as his father.
In Aaron Jenkins' BTTF Universe, Marty Jr tends to be portrayed as a jerk - which I can't say I'm too fond of. Then again, he very much made a point about the future always being in flux - so maybe that wouldn't be the case for the final timeline. I guess I basically had the future timeline more-or-less fixed, after Marty Jr and Harmony took their first trip to 1986.

I think Marty would havewon most of the awards, except for Most Likely To Succeed (Well, maybe in making up new names, outmarting bullies and pissing Strickland off!) and Best Dressed
bttf44 - September 28, 2007 05:09 PM (GMT)
Probably not for Most School Spirit. In my fanfic universe, Marty (and Marty Jr) more or less holds cosmopolitan attitudes - and school spirit is basically like patriotism on a smaller scale, and it can lead to school rivalries. I personally understood what the big deal was with school spirit myself. Some kids will consider you a traitor if date someone from a "rival" school, and somke of the more hateful types may even consider you a "traitor" if you don't actively hate everyone who happens to attend the rival school.
needles1987 - September 29, 2007 05:36 AM (GMT)
What's worse is that teachers expect you to have school spirit.
bttf44 - September 29, 2007 05:59 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I never really understood that. It's the very thing that can lead to rivalries between schools.
needles1987 - September 30, 2007 05:20 AM (GMT)
I always hated Pride week. If we're all miserable at the school we go to, why pretend otherwise?
bttf44 - September 30, 2007 05:31 AM (GMT)
That's very true. A lot of people don't even like going to school to began with. Even though, you'd be surprised by how many kids actually do like going to school.
needles1987 - January 19, 2008 06:29 AM (GMT)
I kinda like school, but classes get in the way of that.
bttf44 - January 19, 2008 12:06 PM (GMT)
How about Best Dimple? Marty McFly Sr and Marty McFly Jr would be good candidates for that.
