Title: Jennifer Sleeping With Two Martys
Description: Would it be immoral?
bttf44 - September 23, 2007 11:53 PM (GMT)
Let's say Marty travels forward in time by, say, a week. Now we temporarily have two Martys in the future. Would it be immoral for Marty to sleep with both of them at one? Would it border on incest to have both Martys in the same bed together?
I covered this concept in Ripple to the Future, by the way.
If you find the idea of a couple sleeping together before marriage to be immoral, then just replace with above examples with Clara and two Docs - or say that this happens after Marty and Jennifer are married.
Also, would it be immoral for Marty (or Doc) to sleep with Jennifer (or Clara) from an alternate reality?
Just a few wild questions to consider.
Of course, if it was Marty sleeping with two Jennifers - and he got the younger Jennifer pregnant - it could result in a time paradox!

LMFAO! What a cheeky thread!
I think it would be rather bizarre for all parties involved. I don't think it's necessarily immoral, but if I had another me with my girlfriend, this may sound strange, but I'd be rather jealous! However, if I had two parallel girlfriends, I would find that quite compelling.
In regards to the second question, if the parallel version is in fact a second person (which I'm assuming it is) and the person sleeping with them is aware that this is a different person (so that it is obvious that they have different manerisms and a different personality) that does teeter on cheating territory. Have you ever seen Me, Myself and Irene? I compare it to that. Even though she slept with him as a person, he was still upset because she slept with his other personality! lol!
(BTW, this is my new favorite Back to the Future Trilogy thread! Could never ask this question at bttf.com!)

No, I haven't seen Me Myself and Irene! I guess I'll have to check into that. There was this one episode on Buffy the Vampire Slayer called The Replacement - where a demon ends up splitting Xander into two people, strong!Xander and weak!Xander. Just before they finally put the two Xanders back together, Anya (Xander's girlfriend at the time) makes a comment about wanting to have a chance to sleep with two Xanders.
Yeah, I figured this wouldn't be a very safe topic to ask at BTTF.com - as they'd probably lock it up right away, and I'd maybe even get banned. They're very strict over there.

Me, Myself and Irene is quite funny, imho. A bit crude, but with lots of funny bits.
Another thing to consider is the fact that Jen could possibly be attracted to her own son, considering he's identical to Marty. What if young Jen had mistaken him for her Marty in 2015?

~Jennifer spots Marty, Jr., and hugs him~
Jennifer: "Marty!" ~kisses him~
Marty, Jr.: "Mom!"
Jennifer: "Mmmm, that's right. I'm your mommy." ~pushes him onto the couch~

Now that cracks me up! Actually, in Time Switched, Marty Sr from 1986 and Marty Jr from 2016 are momentarily trapped in the wrong years. So Marty Jr has to take Jennifer to the dance, while Marty Sr has to take Harmony to the dance. It's hard to both Jennifer and Harmony to gaze at the other Martys without thinking of their own Martys. Then there's the part where Marty and Jennifer win an award for Most Romantic Couple, so Marty Jr is expected to kiss her mother. Sound familiar?

Actually, Marty and his son aren't identical. Marty has blue eyes, while Marty Jr's are brown.

I actually said that they both have blue eyes. I never really noticed the colour of Marty Jr's eyes in Part II, but that could easily be explained by saying he was wearing contacts. It's such a minor detail, I hope nobody minds me taking liberties with that. I did say that William had brown eyes, though - and Marlene still has brown eyes. I guess I just want Marty and his son to be identical.

I didn't even notice Marty Jr's eye color until the last time I saw Part II.

Hee's a theoy I'm considering. One of Marty Jr's friends (maybe Andy, Aaron, and Bill were friends with him even in the timeline he was a wimp) give him a pair of coloured contacts for a bithday present, so Marty Jr is fond of wearing them all the time.
Don't get me wrong. The only other time I ever changed a piece of info provided in the trilogy was with regards to George's birthday, and that was because I made a major mistake in Blast to the Past. It's not something I really believe in making a habit of. I do take my canon seriously.
The more I watch the movies, the more I notice things I haven't really noticed before . I still have to change one of my Marty Wept stories about Marty being trapped in Biff's garage. He was trapped in the garage a lot longer than I thought.
