Title: Which Is Worse?
Description: Criticism

What do you think is worse, being criticized for what you don't like - or being criticized for what you DO like? I think being criticized for what you DO like is worse, because it's basically criticism for your lack of distaste for something - while being criticized for what you don't like is a little more understandable, but still not right.

Being criticized for what you do like.

Yeah, I just never understood why some people care so much about other like. For example, I really can't stand Janis Joplin - but I don't feel the need to tell Janis Joplin fans that they have "crappy" taste in music. Just as long as they're not trying to force me to listen to her, I really don't care. I'm a firm believer of "live and let live".

Did you know that Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain all died at the age of 27?

Yeah, I did. It's so strange - and three of the four also died in 1970. That was a real tragedy. I can't stand Janis Joplin, though. Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I'm going to have to agree. But I think Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain happen to be three of the most talented musicians that ever lived. Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain both happen to be from Seattle. Also, both Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison died in Europe. Hendrix (London, England). Morrison (Paris, France).
