Title: Just Wondering A Little Something
Description: Huey Lewis and The News

I'm wondering if anyone here knows anyone who likes Back to the Future, but not like Huey Lewis and The Lewis. It seems like it would almost be impossible. I would think that BTTF fans would have to at least The Power of love or Back In Time, even if it's just because of the association with BTTF. What are your thoughts?

There's no one I can think of at the moment. But I actually have met people who didn't like Back to the Future.

Yeah, that just isn't right. I know the '80s tend to get maligned quite a bit, but I do know some people who aren't crazy about the '80s but like Back to the Future.

It's possible. I have never heard of anybody who hates Huey Lewis and loves BTTF, but I wouldn't be surprised that there is somebody out there who does. As bttf44 said, most people would probably at least only like The Power of Love or Back in Time because of the BTTF connection. I've never met anyone who hated Back to the Future, but I wonder if anybody hates BTTF but loves Huey Lewis!

I know a lot of classic rock purists are not crazy about Huey Lewis and The News, and many classic rock stations don't play them. I like a lot of music from the '70s and the '80s, and I like some of the psychedelic rock stuff from the late '60s - even though I can't stand Janis Joplin or Joe Cocker.
I am a huge Led Zeppelin fan, but I tend to not get along too well with other Led Zeppelin fans. I mean, some have given me crap for liking bands like Styx, REO Speedwagon, and Boston - and not being too big on Pink Floyd.
Amazingly enough, I really don't see too many people speak ill of Back to the Future. I know the other two well-renouned trilogies are Star Wars and The Godfather, but I can't say that either is really my cup of tea. I seem to be in the minority of BTTF fans who isn't also into Star Wars.

I don't like The Godfather either. You don't like Pink Floyd?

A few of there songs are okay, but most tend to bore me. I actually like the Sid Barrett era the best, since that style was psychedelic.

I don't think Pink Floyd's music is all that similar to Led Zeppelin's. I know some Pink Floyd fans that don't like Led Zeppelin. Some of my favorite Pink Floyd songs are "Wish You Were Here" and "Arnold Layne." I like the Dark Side of The Moon album. I heard it can be played at the same time as Wizard of Oz. I'd like to do that sometime. But first I'd have to get the album, and the movie.

That's actually what kind of bugs me, that some Pink Floyd fans don't like Led Zeppelin. I guess I just think most of Pink Floyd's songs are too slow for my liking.

I would like to see the rock opera "The Wall"
