Title: Marty Jr In Improved 2015
Description: Would he still be a wimp?

By the time "our" Marty reaches 2015 through the natural course of time, do you think Marty Jr would still be a wimp - or do you think he much more confident, just like his father? My theory is that Marty Jr is a lot more like his father in the improved timeline.
A few other things to consider:
Do you think Marty may end up becoming a rock star?
Do you think Marlene and Marty Jr would be born at the same time, and do you think it's possible that Marty and Jennifer might have more children?
Do you think Marty, Jennifer, and Doc from 1985 may still show up on October 21 in 2015?
Here are what my thoughts are. In answer to the first question, Marty did gain moderate success as a rock star, but he wasn't especially legendary. In answer to the second question, I subscribe to the self-preservation effect. Just as George and Lorraine had David, Linda, and Marty at the same time in the improved timeline - the same would be true of Marty and Jennifer. In answer to the third question, no, I don't think that event would happen - especially if Marty Jr does become more confident.

Do I think Marty Jr becomes more confident? Yeah, I do. Enough to get Griff to leave him alone. And I think he takes better care of his hair, which originally looked like it was full of sweat.
Do I think Marty Jr becomes just like his father? I'm going to have to say no. Kids often have some similarities to their parents but are a little bit of the opposite of them at the same time. I think that Marty does have moderate success as a Rock star, but I don't think Marty Jr would be a lot like him. He's already named after his father and looks like him, so people are going to expect him to follow in his dad's footsteps and people are going to be pressuring him to be more like his father. I think Marty Jr wants to be able to distinguish himself from his dad. I think Marty and his son will like some of the same stuff, like some of the same types of music and stuff like that.
Griff and his gang were pretty surprised to see Marty (who they think is Jr) on a hoverboard, so I think he didn't inherit his father's love of boarding.

Well, maybe Marty Jr will like boarding in the new timeline, but you do make a few good points. I have made it a point of say that, while Marty Jr has inherited his father's guitar, he has a very different style to his performing. Being as I don't really know anything about guitars, I can't really go into the specifics. Yeah, I did pretty much made Marty Jr a fan of the '80s - as, even in Part II, Marty Jr seems to be a regular patron at the Cafe '80s. Also, there do seem to be quite a few teens today who envy their parents generation. Also, I did make Marty Jr a little bit more aggressive than his father - especially with regards to boldly calling people like Griff names like 'pervert' or 'child molestor' in public.
With Marty III, at least in the Trilogy and Haven Universes, he does take a different career path, and becomes an actor - sort of like how Goldie Wilson III takes a different career path from his father and grandfather (but Goldie Wilson Jr still follows in his father's footsteps).

Maybe Marty Jr does like boarding in the new timeline. I also think Marlene takes better care of herself in the new timeline. In the old one, she was kind of chunky.

We don't really know too much about Marlene, do we? We don't really know how popular she was, even though she did have at least one friend (who she was on the videophone with). I made her a little different from the rest of the family. While she was a fan of Led Zeppelin as a little girl - as she got older, her tastes then turned to pop music. Marlene's Christmas Carol and Family Feud are the two fics I've done that centre around Marlene. She's not a snob, but she can sometimes be a little vain. She's also somewhat comparable to Lorraine and LP Linda. In Part II, she was probably more comparable to TP Linda.

LP Linda was considered to be more attractive than TP Linda. Maybe it's the same with Marlene. I wonder what Dave and Linda's kids looked like. Didn't you describe Linda's son Brent as a blond boy?

Yeah, I did describe Brent as being a blond boy. Do you think Marlene has a dimple in her left cheek, like her brother and her father?

I was thinking about that that Marty would probably have a grandson named Marty III (who looks like Michael J Fox) in all my BTTF fanfic universes - but it would only be in the Trilogy and Haven Universes where Marty Jr would end up marrying Harmony Brown. In all the other universes, he would probably end up marrying someone named Stephanie Stebb. It would be freaky if Marty III was still born at roughly the same time, though.

I think she probably does have a dimple in her left cheek like her brother and father. Another difference I noticed with both Marty's is that Marty Sr. prefers brunettes while Marty Jr. prefers blondes.
