Technically, you don't ever get to see Jeffrey Weissman as George. He is only ever filmed from angles or a distance, and he was made up to look like Crispin Glover. They made it a point to disguise him as much as possible. He wasn't shown as prominently as Elisabeth Shue was - because, with Elisabeth Shue, they had no choice.

One thing I should mention is that being a huge fan of Part I George McFly is kind of a paradox in itself, because of all the issues that went on between Crispin Glover and the BTTF executives. As I never met Crispin Glover, I'm not going to make any judgements about his personality. I do wonder how he and Michael J Fox get along, though. They were together in High School USA, and Crispin also made an appearance on an episode of Family Ties as one of Alex's friends.

Speaking of George and Family Ties, I can see Skippy as being somewhat comparable to George. The fact that Alex is friends with Skippy kind of shows that Alex is a pretty compassionate person, even if he may be a bit outspoken at times.

Crispin Glover, but its not really fair since Jeffrey Weissman had nowhere near as much screen time as Crispin did.
