How Old Are You?
Harmony: I'm currently 18, here in good old 2016
T Calvin: I'm also 18, but here in the year 1986.
A Calvin: I'm 18 in the year 1986, too.
Marty: I'm also 18 in the year 1986.
Marty Jr: I'm 18 in the year 2016.
Martin: I'm 18 years old, back in the year 1880.
Alex: I'm 21 years old, in 1986.
Height?
Harmony: Five feet two inches
T Calvin: Five feet four inches
A Calvin: Five feet four inches
Marty: Five feet four inches
Marty Jr: Five feet four inches
Martin: Five feet four inches
Alex: Five feet four inches
You Got Any Bad Habits?
Harmony: I have a habit of chewing my fingernails.
T Calvin: I think I tend to tease my twin a little too much.
A Calvin: I think I tend to swear more often than my counterpart does.
Marty: I used to always lose my judgement, whenever people called me a "chicken".
Marty Jr: I tend to lose my temper, whenever I'm irked.
Martin: I used to do foolish things, whenever people called me a "coward".
Alex: I tend to lose my judgement, whenever the promise is money is concerned.
You A Virgin?
Harmony: Yeap. Marty and I plan to wait until the day we say our wedding vows. Call me old-fashioned.
T Calvin: Yeah, I am. Although, I just recently met a girl named April Schultz.
A Calvin: Yes. I do have the hots, though, for a girl named Sarah Parker.
Marty: No. I must admit that Jennifer and I have "done the deed" a few times.
Marty Jr: Yeah, the same as Harmony said. Besides, I think sex is so overrated
Martin: Yeah, I believe that "doing the deed" before marriage is wrong.
Alex: Unfortunately, no. I lost my virginity to a college girl named Stephanie, when I was 17 years old. I regret it now, though.
Who's your Mate?
Harmony: Marty Jr. We've been best friends our whole lives, but I'm starting to develop feelings for him.
T Calvin: Well, Marty is my best mate - being as we're twins. I guess that's not what you meant, though. April Schultz and I have been dating for awhile, though.
A Calvin: On a romantic level, I'm just started started going with Sarah. My best friend, though, would be my counterpart.
Marty: Of course! Jennifer Parker! Hell, we've even seen our future children a few times!
Marty Jr: Yeah, Harmony. I really think we are made for each other.
Martin: Definitely Juniper Parker! We hope to get married real soon!
Alex: Unfortunately, no. I really miss Ellen Reed a lot.
Have Any Kids?
Harmony: Not right now, but I would like to someday.
T Calvin: Nope! Apparently, I'll be naming my future son Calvin Jr, though.
A Calvin: Nope! I guess I'm destined to have twins, though: Michael Jandrew and Alexander Patrick.
Marty: Well, we didn't exactly have them yet - but I have met them a few times, via time travel. Their names are Marty Jr and Marlene.
Marty Jr: Well, Harmony and I would like to have kids.
Martin: No, not yet. We hope to have them in the future, though.
Alex: Well, I would love to have kids someday. I need to find a girl first, though.
Favourite Food?
Harmony: I like Mexican and Italian food. Oh, yeah, and chocolate.
T Calvin: I try to eat healthy, but I have a weakness for Italian food.
A Calvin: Having spend most of my life in Switzerland, I've developed a taste for Swiss food. The Swiss make the best chocolate.
Marty: I'll eat most anything, except for liver and sausage. Mexican and Italian rule, though.
Marty Jr: I guess I've inherited my dad's taste in food. I prefer orange to grape, though.
Martin: I am a huge fan of pancakes with maple syrup. I love lemon drops, too.
Alex: I love Italian food, especially Guido's.
Favourite Colour?
Harmony: Pink and purple rule!
T Calvin: I love blue a lot.
A Calvin: Anything except black, brown, and grey.
Marty: I like orange and red.
Marty Jr: I take after my father. Orange and red
Martin: I love the colour green. To me, green is the colour of nature.
Alex: I like the colour green, too - because that's the colour of money.
Most Annoying Person?
Harmony: Griff Tannen and his gang. Griff used to always hit on me, until Marty stood up to him.
T Calvin: I would have to go with Cliff and Miff. At least Biff is tolerable.
A Calvin: Definitely Biff! Having had to deal with having him for a stepfather, I still can't stand to be around him.
Marty: Besides the Tannens - except for Jill, as she's nice - I would have to go with Mr. Strickland, as well as Needles.
Marty Jr: I guess I'll go with the obvious - Griff Tannen!
Martin: Bart Needles. He used to provoke me into taking risks.
Alex: Nick Moore. I really don't get what Mallory sees in him.
Best Friend?
Harmony: Marty has always been my best friend. My romantic feelings for her are rather recent, though.
T Calvin: My twin, of course! Then, there is also Doc. I'm also close to Rick Collins.
A Calvin: My counterpart, Doc, and The Pinheads.
Marty: Doc, as well as Zach Nelson - the bassist of The Pinheads.
Marty Jr: Harmony, of course! Also, Andy Hopkins - as well as Aaron Nelson. Actually, all my buddies in Machinehead.
Martin: James Nelson. He was the first one to befriend me, upon moving to Virginia City, Nevada.
Alex: Skippy Handelman. He's not very smart, and he's kinda clumsy - but he's very lovable. We're also next door neighbours.
Any Secrets?
Harmony: I like Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot, even though I ordinarily can't stand rap.
T Calvin: I happen to like listening to polkas. Only my twin, Marty, knows that.
A Calvin: Besides my unique appearance in this reality? Well, I did smoke a little - when I was in Switzerland.
Marty: I love having the soles of my feet tickled. I feel funny admitting it, because they're unbearably ticklish!
Marty Jr: Yeah, I let Harmony tickle the soles of my feet - as I find that it makes me feel less tense or stressed. Yeah, call me a masochist.
Martin: I nearly got killed in a saloon. Fortunately, a guardian angel prevented that from happening to me. Oh, and I'd still never let Juniper tickle the soles of my feet.
Alex: I don't really dislike rock music. It's just not my favourite.
Love Anyone?
Harmony: Well, I love my family. Oh, I guess you mean on a romantic level. In that case, Marty Jr.
T Calvin: Yeah, I love my friends and family, too. I'm also romantically attracted to April.
A Calvin: In a romantic sort of way, Sarah.
Marty: Yeah, Jennifer! The power of love is a curious thing.
Marty Jr: Yeah, Harmony. I think we are fated to be together, in a romantic way.
Martin: Most definitely! Juniper and I plan to marry real soon.
Alex: I don't have a girlfriend right now.
TACOS?
Harmony: Love 'em! Love' em! Love 'em!
T Calvin: Oh, yeah, I can barely get enough of them!
A Calvin: I never had them, when I was in that other world. I'll eat them, but they aren't my favourite.
Marty: Hell, yeah! Especially with lots of sour cream. I must admit that I stick with the mild sauce, though. (turning to A Calvin) You really don't like tacos?
A Calvin: Well, I never said I didn't like them. Remember, I spent most of my life in Switzerland. So I guess I've just gotten used to different types of food.
Marty: Uh, yeah, right.
Marty Jr: You bet! As long as they aren't the dehydrated variety. Tacos don't hydrate as well as pizza does.
Martin: I wouldn't know. What are tacos?
Alex: Oh, yeah, they're delicious! As for the sauce, make it fiery hot!
Ever Slept In All Day?
Harmony: Yeah, when I'm feeling really sick
T Calvin: Not too often. Unlike my twin, I'm an early riser.
A Calvin: I never really had a chance to, in the other world. Maybe I should give that a try someday, though.
Marty: Yeah, on a few occassions, I have.
Marty Jr: After a real busy and stressful day, I will.
Martin: Nope, can't say that I ever have.
Alex: No way! Why waste your life away?
Species/Race?
Harmony: Human/Caucasion
T Calvin: Human/Caucasion
A Calvin: Human/Caucasion
Marty: Human/Caucasion
Marty Jr: Human/Caucasion
Martin: Human/Caucasion
Alex: Human/Caucasion
Crush?
Harmony: I already told you. Marty Jr!
T Calvin: Yeah, April and I are dating. I had a crush on Jessica Houston for awhile.
A Calvin: My counterpart hooked me up with Felicia, once - then I also had a little fling with Amanda Martini. Right now, I'm dating Sarah.
Marty: Just Jennifer, and to call it a "crush" would be an understatement.
Marty Jr: Yeah, Harmony.
Martin: Juniper, and it's more than just a "crush"!
Alex: Will you stop asking me those questions?
Favourite Band/Singer?
Harmony: Currently, I'll go with 38 Special
T Calvin: The Beach Boys. They're a fun band.
A Calvin: Huey Lewis and The Rebels - That was Huey's band in the other world.
Marty: I'd rather go for good ol' Huey Lewis and The News. I like Van Halen, too.
Marty Jr: Besides my father, I would also go with Huey Lewis and The News.
Martin: There's a minstrel in town that I like named Willie Jolson.
Alex: I like all kinds of music, it's hard to limit it to just one.
Eye Colour/s?
Harmony: Blue-Green
T Calvin: Slate Blue
A Calvin: Slate Blue
Marty: Slate Blue
Marty Jr: Slate Blue
Martin: Slate Blue
Alex: Slate Blue
Skin?
Harmony: White.
T Calvin: Yeah, I have skin. Why do you ask?
A Calvin: Yup, white.
Marty: I'm a Caucasian.
Marty Jr: Yeap, I'm a Caucasian, too.
Martin: What kind of a question is that?
Alex: Yeah, of course I have skin!
Fat/Average/Slim?
Harmony: I think I'm about average.
T Calvin: I try to remain fit, but I'm not real slim.
A Calvin: I think I'm average-sized.
Marty: Average, I think.
Marty Jr: Yeah, average.
Martin: I guess I'm average.
Alex: Yeah, I'm pretty average.
Rain, Sunshine?
Harmony: Sunshine. It makes the day look more cheerful.
T Calvin: Actually, I think rain. I think sunshine is a little overrated.
A Calvin: Definitely sunshine! I didn't get to see too much sunshine, when I was in the other world.
Marty: Sunshine. I love taking walk outside!
Marty Jr: Sunshine. Rain is way too depressing.
Martin: I like both. You can do more in the sunshine, but you do need rain.
Alex: Definitely sunshine! Rain is too inconvenient.
Camping Or Staying Home?
Harmony: Staying home. I was never too big on camping.
T Calvin: I love camping! It gets you more in touch with nature.
A Calvin: I like to go camping. Although, I like being at home, too.
Marty: I enjoy camping! I especially love roasting marshmallows over the campfire.
Marty Jr: Well, I do love roasted marshmallows and s'mores.
Martin: I like to stay home. We did too much camping, before we settled in Virginia City, Nevada.
Alex: I guess I'm pretty much of a homebody.
Dog, Cat?
Harmony: Cats. Think they're soft and cuddly.
T Calvin: I guess dogs. Einstein is such a nice dog.
A Calvin: Yeah, Einie's such a nice dog.
Marty: Yeah, dogs - especially Einstein.
Marty Jr: It's hard to decide. I love them both.
Martin: I like dogs. They make friendly companions.
Alex: I'm really not too much of an animal person.
Believe In Aliens?
Harmony: Well, I am open to the possibility.
T Calvin: I'm pretty sure there are other planets with life on it. It may not necessarily be humanoid, though.
A Calvin: Well, if there can be people from other dimensions - then why not people from other planets.
Marty: Hell, yeah! Dad writes stories about them, after all. It may not be like Star Wars or Star Trek, though.
Marty Jr: Have you ever heard of starseeds? They are people who believe they have a background from other planets.
Martin: I never really thought of it before. It could be possible, though.
Alex: I kinda doubt it. Then again, I could be wrong.
Natural Born, or Clone?
Harmony: Natural born, that I'm pretty sure of.
T Calvin: Natural born. Yes, I am Marty's twin - not clone!
A Calvin: Natural born, for the most part. Although, I guess clone can qualify, too. After all, I am Marty's counterpart from the other world.
Marty: Natural born, of course.
Marty Jr: Yeah, natural born. We haven't advanced that far in technology, yet - that we actually have human clones.
Martin: Natural born - what is a clone, anyway?
Alex: I'm, definitely natural born!
Teeth?
Harmony: Don't have my wisdom teeth, yet.
T Calvin:Uh, yeah, I have teeth.
A Calvin: I have a few chipped teeth. I don't have my wisdom teeth, yet, either.
Marty: Buford Tannen did refer to my teeth as "pearly whites" - so I guess I am lucky to have healthy teeth. No wisdom teeth yet, though.
Marty Jr: Yeap, I have nice healthy teeth, too. No wisdom teeth, however.
Martin: I think my teeth are healthy enough.
Alex: Well, I do brush my teeth regularly - so I think they're fine.
Ever Destroyed Something Out Of Blind Rage?
Harmony: No, not really.
T Calvin: Nope! I'm not the temperamental type.
A Calvin: I was tempted to break a few of Biff's belongings, but I didn't dare.
Marty: I did once set the living room rug on fire. It was an accident, though.
Marty Jr: Yeah, I broke Griff's Pit Bull once. He deserved it, though.
Martin: No, I can't say that I really have.
Alex: No, I'm not that kind of person.
Any Unusual Things About You?
Harmony: Well, I'm currently the only non-Foxish person being interviewed in a room full of Michael J Fox look-alikes! Besides that, maybe the fact that I don't like shopping too much. Some people are shocked, when they hear me say that.
T Calvin: Somehow, Marty's interference in 1955 had caused me to be born - as I wasn't born in the original timeline that Marty came from.
A Calvin: I'm from a world where Biff is rich and powerful, Richard Nixon was still the US President, and we were still at war with Viet Nam.
Marty: I'm already quite familiar with my future children, even though they have yet to be born. Also, having multiple memories of my past.
Marty Jr: I'm pretty good buddies the teenage version of my parents.
Martin: I would have been killed, if not for this guardian angel named Michael.
Alex: I'm smarter than most everyone else my age.
How Much Food/Drink Do You Need A Day?
Harmony: I need my daily dose of chocolate.
T Calvin: I try to eat healthy, but I tend to overdose on Italian or Mexican food.
A Calvin: I was able to convince Mom to prefer some Swiss dishes for us. I'll eat almost anything, though.
Marty: I need my three meals a day.
Marty Jr: No meal is complete without Pepsi Perfect. I miss my Pepsi Perfect, when I'm outside of my time.
Martin: Three meals a day should do it, as well as some lemon drops.
Alex: Three meals a days, as well as dessert and snacks.
Favourite Place?
Harmony: I like hanging out at the Cafe '80s, with Marty.
T Calvin: I love being in my bedroom. There where I go to think.
A Calvin: The family house on Lyons Estate. I have really missed that house a lot, when Biff moved us into the Pleasure Paradise.
Marty: Taking a stroll through Hill Valley Park, especially with my lovely Jennifer.
Marty Jr: I agree with Harmony. The Cafe '80s rule!
Martin: I love going to the swimming hole, especially with Juniper.
Alex: Wall Street! I would like to work there someday.
Pet Peeve?
Harmony: People who say that rock and roll is dead. Rock and roll will never die!
T Calvin: People who automatically assume that Michael J Fox is my favourite actor, just because I happen to resemble him.
A Calvin: People who are obsessed with money.
Marty: People who assume that I like Michael J Fox only because I happen to resemble him.
Marty Jr: People who stop by the Cafe '80s only to harass the regulars there.
Martin: People who bully those who are weaker than them.
Alex: People who assume that money is the only thing I ever think about.
Have you ever done drugs?
Harmony: Nope, I haven't ever touched them.
T Calvin: Are you kidding me? Why would I want that crap in my body?
A Calvin: Okay, I admit I experimented a little - when I was in Switzerland, in the other world.
Marty: Nope! Our school has always taught us to "Just say no!"
What's the matter, Marty? Chicken?
Marty: Sorry, I don't fall for that, anymore. At least Needles never tried to push me into drugs.
Marty Jr: Nope, my dad has brought me up to have the same resistence against drugs.
Martin: Well, I did smoke a cigar once - on a dare. Does that count?
Alex: None of the illegal variety. I did once overdose on diet pills, though.
What do you think about Michael J. Fox?
Harmony: I think he's so sweet! My Marty is even sweeter, though.
T Calvin: Aw, he's okay. He's not necessarily my favourite actor, though - even if I do look like him.
A Calvin: I've become quite friendly with his counterpart from the world I came from. He was too scared to enter the United States, and he was concerned for me. He was concerned for Dave and Linda, too. Even there, he's really had a great sense of humour.
Marty: When I first watched Family Ties, I was shocked by how much I resemble him. Of course, I was even more shocked to discover that he plays me in another universe. I would like to meet him, someday - and I think we'd get along great.
Marty Jr: He's always been a great actor, and a very kind person. Of course, I'd be interested in the actor who looks like me. My dad met him a few times, too.
Marty: Really? Are you serious?
Marty Jr: Oops, I guess I shouldn't tell you too much more. You do, though.
Marty: Awesome!
Martin: Well, if everyone else here looks like him - I guess that means I do, too. I've never heard of him, though. I guess that's because he's from the future.
Alex: He's a decent actor, and I do like the fact that he looks like me. I wouldn't say he's my favourite, though. I can't believe he played me in another universe.
Are your feet ticklish?
Harmony: Well, mine are quite ticklish - but not as ticklish as Marty's.
T Calvin: Yes, horribly so! I'm sure my twin and I have equally ticklish feet.
A Calvin: Mine are terribly ticklish, too! Even ten seconds is too much to take.
Marty: Yeah, mine are so unbearably ticklish - I used to not allow Jennifer to tickle them. Now she wants to tickle them all the time!
Marty Jr: Very much so! I guess I really take after my dad. Both Marlene and Harmony enjoy tickling me there!
Martin: Aye! So much so, I still don't let Juniper tickle me there!
Alex: My feet are horribly ticklish, and my little sister is very fond of tickling them. My former girlfriend, Ellen, used to tickle them on a routine. I don't know why I even put up with it!
What do you think about Led Zeppelin?
Harmony: They're awesome, and Robert Plant was so sexy! They still rock!
T Calvin: I like them somewhat, but I'm not as big on them as Marty is.
A Calvin: They rock my socks off! At least that's one band that's stayed the same the world I'm in now, and the other world.
Marty: I've been a fan since I was a young kid. I would dance around to Black Dog when I was three.
Marty Jr: Jimmy Page is a great guitar hero! Some people think it's strange for my generation to like them, but I was a fan since I was little. They're the kings of rock and roll!
Martin: I have no idea what this Led Zeppelin sounds like, and what do folks mean when you say they "rock"? Sure is a strange turn of phrase.
Alex: Nope! Not into that kind of music! I think they're too loud, and they ripped off of the old blues artists - including Willie Dixon! Shame on them!
What is your view on woman's rights?
Harmony: What kind of a question is that? Are you kirgo?
T Calvin: People are people! Enough said.
A Calvin: I've always viewed woman as being equal, even if Biff didn't!
Marty: I do have some issues with the modern feminist movement, but I think gender roles are a crock of bullshit!
Marty Jr: I believe that everyone should be treated fairly.
Martin: I think it's dumb that women can't vote in America. They're people, too.
Alex: Well, there is a reason why God made men and women differently. I think the abuse of women is very wrong, though.
What do you think about The Beatles:
Harmony: I respect that they're an important asset to rock and roll, but I can't say I'm a big fan of them.
T Calvin: They rule! Hey, modern rock wouldn't even exist - if it wasn't for The Beatles!
A Calvin: I've always had an affinity for them. They define the psychedelic movement.
Marty: I'll listen to them some of the time, and I respect how influential they are. They aren't my favourite, though.
Marty Jr: I respect them, and I like a few of their songs - but I'm really not a big fan.
Martin: I haven't any clue what you people are talking about. All I know about beetles is that they're pretty ugly insects. They're almost as bad as cockroaches.
Alex: Nope! Can't say I like them at all. They're more my parents' thing.
What do you think about rock and roll music?
Harmony: Rock and roll will never die! It sure beats this rap and hip-hop crap!
T Calvin: I like it, but I'm not obsessed with it like Marty is!
A Calvin: Sure beats country-western! I love rock and roll music with attitude!
Marty: I love it, I hope to become a rock star someday - and, Calvin, I am not obsessed!
T Calvin: Am too!
Marty: Am not!
Marty Jr: Yeah, Calvin, Dad is not obsessed! He just happens to have a big passion for rock and roll music, wich I happen to share with him. I hope to become a rock star, too.
Martin: I haven't any idea what rock and roll music sounds like. Sure is a strange phrase to describe a style of music.
Marty: Believe me, Martin! If you grew up in our era, you'd love it, too!
Alex: I don't exactly hate it, but it's sad how people nowadays has lost appreciation for other older styles of music.
What do you think about rap?
Harmony: I hate it! It's basically just people talking over music. I hate how my generation is expected to like it.
T Calvin: Well, I've heard a little bit of it - and it's really not my cup of tea.
A Calvin: Well, I do like Public Enemy and Sir Mix-A-Lot. I don't know much about rap in the future, so...
Marty: Yeah, some rap really isn't too bad - but I do prefer rock and roll by far.
Marty Jr: That's because you haven't heard gangsta rap, yet, Dad! Believe me, this kind of music is crap! I wish I was born a few decades earlier.
Martin: Now you've lost me. I dread what the music of the future will be like.
Marty Jr: Believe me, Martin! Rock and roll rules - and rap and hip-hop drools!
Martin: I'm not even going to pretend that I understand what you just said.
Alex: No, I can't say that I like rap - but, then again, I'm not too fond of rock music either.
Do you like the word "harmony"?
Harmony: Well, it is my name - so, yeah! I've always been proud of my name, and I do my best to live up to it.
T Calvin: Yeah, it's a nice word - even though I prefer the words "tranquility", "euphoria", and "serenity". Still, I'm certainly not one to knock the word.
A Calvin: Oh, yeah, I love that word so much! We had a pitiful lack of such in that other world I came from - as Biff Tannen was so powerful, and the antithesis of everything the word "harmony" means. One thing is certain! I never ever want to hear Biff Tannen say that word!
Marty: Yeah, it's a beautiful word. I wrote a song called Harmony, in fact - and it's a minor hit for our band. With all the horrible stuff you see on the news, it seems like not enough of us really appeciate the concept of harmony.
Marty Jr: Yeah, I love that word, too - partially because it's my girlfriend's name. I do like the way the word sounds, though - and what it means. My girlfriend does a very excellent job of living up to her name. She's the epitome of what the word means.
Harmony: Aww, Marty, that's just so sweet of you to say that!
Marty Jr: Well, Harmony, I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true.
Martin: Well, I haven't even thought much about the word - to be honest. I mean, it was never an everyday part of our vocabulary. It does sound like a beautiful word, though. Maybe I should use it more often.
Alex: Yeah, I like harmony. I really disagree with what the hippies' idea of harmony is, though. I think if we embraced more of the old-fashioned family values, though - then we could have harmony. I think too many people actually have the wrong impression of what the word means.
needles1987 - September 18, 2007 04:52 PM (GMT)
That was awesome. I love how Marty actually admitted to being not so pure.
bttf44 - September 18, 2007 05:01 PM (GMT)
Thanks! :) I'll have to think of some more question to ask them, and revise the interview to maybe contain a little more interaction - so that it's more like a real interview.
Do you ask any questions to ask them? :)
needles1987 - September 18, 2007 08:05 PM (GMT)
How about:
Have you ever done drugs?
What do you think about Michael J. Fox?
bttf44 - September 18, 2007 08:15 PM (GMT)
Okay, I'll add those in there later today! We know Alex had that problem with overdosing on diet pills - and it's possible Hell Valley Marty may have experienced with drugs at a boarding school. For the others, though, I don't think so.
I like how Michael J Fox has never done drugs - even though the smoking and the drinking bothers me a bit, as does the speeding. I'm sure he never drove drunk, though.
needles1987 - September 18, 2007 09:15 PM (GMT)
I assume that by 2015, drugs are impossible to get and cigarettes are banned. But I would still like to read their answers to it.
bttf44 - September 18, 2007 09:41 PM (GMT)
You know, I haven't thought too much about that, to be honest. As much as myself don't like cigarettes, I don't think banning it is really a good idea. Remember Prohibition?
needles1987 - September 18, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
Cigarettes are already banned in most public places. Tobacco is naturally grown, while alcohol is man made.
bttf44 - September 19, 2007 09:44 AM (GMT)
Okay, I just added in your two questions! :) I changed a few other things, as well.
needles1987 - September 19, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
I'm pretty sure that nobody knew the dangers to smoking until the early '60s. Before then, everybody thought it would only stain your teeth and give you bad breath.
I think in an earlier draft script, Lorraine said that smoking relaxes her and calms her nerves.
bttf44 - September 19, 2007 03:58 PM (GMT)
Well, parents generally didn't let their kids smoke even before the '60s - so there was probably some belief that smoking wasn't all good, but they just didn't think much of the specifics of why it was bad.
needles1987 - September 21, 2007 05:25 AM (GMT)
They should be asked if their feet are ticklish.
bttf44 - September 21, 2007 06:33 AM (GMT)
bttf44 - September 23, 2007 05:07 AM (GMT)
I added a question for Led Zeppelin! :)
needles1987 - September 24, 2007 04:44 AM (GMT)
How about a question for favorite family member? And their views on women's rights. And what they think of Rap music. I'd like to see their answers to that. Hope that won't be too much trouble.
bttf44 - September 24, 2007 04:57 AM (GMT)
Sure! I'll ask them about rock music, too - and the Beatles.
needles1987 - September 24, 2007 05:08 AM (GMT)
Cool. Yeah, the Beatles rock!
bttf44 - September 24, 2007 05:31 AM (GMT)
I added in four new questions. I didn't ask the family members question, as that would put some of them right on the spot. Calvin and HV Marty would have to say Marty, even if it's not "their" Marty that's present - and Marty Jr would have to say his father.
needles1987 - September 24, 2007 05:54 AM (GMT)
Oh yeah, but I don't think there's any harm in asking them who their favorite uncle is.
bttf44 - September 24, 2007 05:57 AM (GMT)
Okay, I'll ask them that, then. :)
bttf44 - September 24, 2007 06:13 AM (GMT)
BTW, should I add Michael J Fox to the participants - and have him answer all these questions, too? Or else, maybe I should interview him separately - as his presense would change some of the answers already given. I'm tempted to do it, but it might be touching risky ground. As for a family thing, I'll ask who their favourite relative is outside of their immediate family.

Naa, I'd better not include Michael J Fox. It's enough that I write the occasional fic about him, and I've had a request from a friend at YouTube to do another MJF fic next month.
One of these days, I'll get this interview fixed up. In the meantime, I thouight of another question to ask these characters: do you like the word "harmony"?

I guess Jules made the right choice in naming his daughter, huh?
bttf44 - December 13, 2007 06:01 PM (GMT)
Yeah, he certainly did - unlike the parents of Harmony Kendall in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Do it think the answer I gave to Alex regarding the concept of harmony was spot-on? I think he really is a decent person, when all is said that done - just that he sometimes does come off as seeming a bit sexist.
needles1987 - December 13, 2007 06:16 PM (GMT)
That does sound like something Alex would say.
bttf44 - December 13, 2007 06:24 PM (GMT)
Cool! It's so interesting that the first time I hear Michael J Fox say that word, he says it as Alex P Keaton! :) I wonder how Michael himself would answer that question.

I just thought of another question. Blondes or Brunettes?
bttf44 - January 24, 2008 07:53 AM (GMT)
I suppose I could do that. Marty Jr would, of course, have to say blondes - with Harmony being there, and all that. Harmony, I guess, would say brunettes - even though brunette is generally a term used only for girls.
needles1987 - January 24, 2008 04:10 PM (GMT)
Maybe Harmony could say brown. I'm pretty sure that Marty and Martin are definitely going to say brunette. I don't know what color hair April and Sarah have. I think Alex would say blonde.
bttf44 - January 24, 2008 05:17 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I'm an Alex/Ellen shipper myself. Ships don't seem to be as big a deal in the BTTF fandom, though - also, not to mention, how important the George/Lorraine relationship is. I personally think it's silly to hate Jennifer or Clara, just because they kissed Marty or Doc. I mean, we're talking about fictional characters - so...
needles1987 - January 24, 2008 10:15 PM (GMT)
Not only was Ellen a blonde, so was Ellen's old roommate and that girl Alex lost his virginity to.

Not to mention Marty Jr is pretty much in love with Harmony's blonde hair.
bttf44 - January 25, 2008 09:56 AM (GMT)
Tha's very true! He is! Harmony is very much in love with Marty Jr's facial features.
needles1987 - January 27, 2008 09:27 PM (GMT)
Didn't Marty Jr get really upset when Harmony told him she wanted to die her hair pink? I don't blame him. Who wants to date a girl with hair that looks like cotton candy?
bttf44 - January 27, 2008 09:50 PM (GMT)
Yeah, he wasn't too happy about that.
needles1987 - January 27, 2008 10:40 PM (GMT)
Didn't he instead use it on his boss?
bttf44 - January 28, 2008 03:03 AM (GMT)
Yeah, and that got him fired. He probably did do that in the Trilogy Universe, too - but just that he wouldn't end up travelling back to 1986 on that day. It probably doesn't happen in any of the other universes, though - as it was Harmony who wanted the hair dye.
needles1987 - January 28, 2008 04:18 AM (GMT)
Why didn't Marty just tell her that her blonde hair was beautiful and that dying it pink would make it look like cotton candy?
bttf44 - January 28, 2008 12:28 PM (GMT)
I guess I just didn't think of it. The whole pink hair dye thing was Jennifer McFly's idea, so...
Jennifer Mcfly - January 30, 2008 02:38 AM (GMT)
why don we add doc and jennifer to the interview?
