"So, Mike," Tracy Pollan said to her husband, as they were taking a hike through the park, "this is a really beautiful day today, isn't it?"

"Oh, it most certainly is," Michael J Fox replied, huskily. "It's so nice that you and I are married now, and that we've been blessed with such an adorable little boy. I must say, though, that I kind of am sad that Family Ties had to come to an end. I mean, we were all so close - almost like we were a real family. I mean, I miss everyone. I especially miss Brian Bonsall. He was a real adorable little boy. Justine Bateman was also often like a sister to me - and I sure have come to look up to Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter-Birney, almost as if they were my real parents."

"I do feel really bad for Meredith," Tracy said, sighing. "I mean, her spending lots of time on Family Ties seems to have threatened the relationship between her and her own husband."

"Yeah, that is a real shame," Mike said, quietly. "I hate to say this, but I sometimes do feel like Michael Gross was more of a father to me - than my real father was at times, when I was growing up. I mean, he did spend a lot of time in the military - and he was a bit of a strict disciplinarian. Still, I really did love him - and I was so grieved when he passed away. I still sometimes cry, when I think of his passing."

"It is a very normal part of grieving," Tracy said, gently. "I mean, I never even really knew your father - and I really was crying with grief when you, your sister, and I all had that after death communication together. It was such an awesome experience, you know."

"Yeah, it took me a little longer for the tears to come," Mike replied, nodding. "It's like I was initially in a state of shock, where I didn't want to believe that he was gone - and I so much wanted to believe that the miracle that we had experienced meant something else entirely. You know, I really wish I hadn't been so rebellious when I was a teen."

"Well, it's best just to leave the past behind," Tracy said, soothingly. "It's better just to learn from the past, and to plan for the future, but to live for today."

"Yeah, that's very true," Mike said, with a sigh. "I still feel bad, though, about the fight that I had with my brother and my sisters. I mean, it's not very often that I ever lose my cool or get into a fight. Granted, I might sometimes get into a mock bar brawl with some of my buddies after drinking a little too much - but't is all meant to be in fun, with no real harm done. I'm usually not the kind of person to get angry that easily."

"Nah, usually I'm the one that's overly sensitive," Tracy said, smiling, "and you're the one who tries to cheer me up when I'm down - or calm me down when whenever I'm a bit tense or filled with rage. You are the one who usually tries to maintain harmony in all of your relationships."

"Yeah, I know that," Mike said, quietly. Then, blushing he added, "I mean, not to brag or anything - but I just don't like to be at strife or discord with anyone. Anyway, that's why I still feel so bad about the miniature family feud that we had."

"Well, you were under a lot of stress, Mike," Tracy said, soothingly. "I mean, you just lost your father - and you were just dealing with a heavy emotional turmoil. I think you can sometimes be a little too hard on yourself. You can't expect to be perfect. I mean, nobody is perfect. We are all human beings with our own shortcomings."

"I guess you're right, Tracy," Mike said, smiling. "Anyway, I must say that it was nice to be able to come back to the Back to the Future set to do some more sequels. I really did enjoy being Marty McFly, even if I did almost end up getting hanged."

"Yeah, I know you and Christopher Lloyd have a real chemestry together," Tracy had commented. "It's like there is a lot of, uh, charisma between you guys."

"Well, I think the whole cast was great," Mike gushed. "But, yeah, I guess most of the scenes that I have done were with Christopher Lloyd - so there is definitely a special relationship between the two of us. He can be awfully quiet at times, though."

"Well, that's just the way he is," Tracy replied. "So, there was a period of time when the relationship between you and Meredith Baxter was a bit strained?"

"Well, I never had any bad feelings towards her," Mike explained, "but, for awhile, I guess she did resent the fact that my character started to take on a more prominent role, causing her to have to step back. Gee, I still remember the day that she made me pass out - so that she could tickle the soles of my feet. I mean, I really was not used to being tickled so much back then. Sometimes, Justine and I would playfully tickle each other - but that would be about the extent of it."

"Yeah, you even tickled Justine when she was in a bad mood," Tracy teased.

"I was just trying to get her to cheer up," Mike replied. "Looking back, though, I guess I can see where that might have annoyed her a bit. Anyway, do you have any plans for this evening? I'm thinking I would just like to relax this evening, and spend some time playing with our son. I'm sorry I have not always been able to be there for you throughout the duration of your pregnancy. I do enjoy acting, but I do believe that family should first. I do want to try to be there as much as I can for the him, as my own father had not always been there for me."

"Aw, it's all right, Mike," purred Tracy. "You can't help it when you have commitments that tend to keep you away for awhile. At least, we don't have to worry about that stalker anymore. I mean, it was a real nightmare for us."

"Yeah, that was a very scary experience for us," Mike said, sighing. "I mean, I really do appreciate all of my fans - but some of them can be very scary. Ms. Ledbetter, however, went way over the edge. I'm not the kind of person who likes to think ill of anyone - but sometimes it's crucial to take a stand and say that enough is enough. I mean, I certainly would not want to be like George McFly - as he was at the beginning of the first movie."

"Right, exactly," Tracy said, nodding. "I mean, there's really a fine line between being a nice person and being a pushover. If you're the latter of the two, then people learn to take advantage of you - and that's not the kind of life to live."

"Right," Mike replied, "I'm not the kind of person to let others take advantage of me."

"Well, Mike, I have a doctor's appointment in about fifteen minutes," explained Tracy. "So what are your plans? Would you like to come along, or would you rather..."

"If you don't mind," Mike said, smiling, "I would prefer to stay here in the park. I mean, this is a really nice park - and it is a lovely day out. I mean, the sun is really shining."

"Take care, then," Tracy gushed, as she embraced her husband. "Do you think you'll be home by about 4:30. I would like to make some stuffed shells for us."

"That would be great, honey," replied Mike, as he embraced his wife back, and kissed her on the top of her head. "Have a nice day!"

"Yeah, I always enjoy going to the doctor's office to get a full body exam," teased Tracy, as she made her way to the parking lot. Mike waved after his wife.

ooooooooooo

Mike was strolling through one of the trails, while he was enjoying the beautiful wildlife. One thing nobody, not even Tracy, know about - was that, a little over four years ago, he had switched places with his character counterpart, Marty McFly.

He might have come to eventually dismiss the whole thing as a dream - if it had not been for the recording that Marty had left behind, of him singing and performing Harmony. There were a few times when Mike had the urge to re-record over the song, in case the tape was to ever fall into the wrong hands. Even to this day, Tracy - along with a few others that she had felt the urge to play the song for - were convinced that it was Mike himself who wrote and performed the song.

However, Mike knew there was no way that he wrote the song - even subconsiously - as the song's tune was not really his style. Of course, he believed that the song had a wonderful message to it - but his style tended to lean more towards the softer side. Like when he had written and performed You've Got No Place To Go for the movie called Light of Day - it was the song that reflected more of his softer singing style.

Mike did enjoy listening to hard rock as much as the next person, and he even liked a little bit of heavy metal. Still, it was not the style that he was really into performing.

Suddenly, Mike felt a very strong gust of wing surrounding him. Mike tried to convince himself to stay still, telling himself that the strong wind would pass. Then everything went black, as Mike felt a strong force pulling at him.

Where the hell am I? Michael J Fox thought to himself, as he was wandering around town. He was shocked by how much the world seemed to resemble the set of Back to the Future Part Two in the year 2015. He saw hovercars everywhere. He then reached the Courthouse Square, where he saw the familiar Courthouse Mall and the Cafe '80s.

Suddenly a young girl with long blonde curls and bright blue-green eyes ran up to Mike, and she threw her arms around him. Mike wasn't too baffled by that, as he was used to fans embracing him like that. Mike just returned the hug and gave this obvious fan of his a huge embrace.

"I suppose you want my autograph, too," Mike said, as he smiled softly at the blonde.

"Oh, why would I need your autograph?" the blonde asked, giggling. "You're acting like I'm just a fan of yours. Well, you're my fiance, silly!"

"Your, uh, fiance?" Mike asked, baffled. "Look, I am very flattered that you're such a big fan of mine, but..."

"Are you okay, Marty?" the blonde asked, with concern. "Did you hit your head, or something? You're acting a little bit strange this afternoon."

"Uh, Marty?" Mike asked, baffled. "I can't say that I've ever seen you before."

"Yeah, aren't you Marty McFly Jr?" the blonde asked, confused. "You look like him!"

Mike nearly started to faint, but the blonde had steadied him. "Actually, no, I'm not! I'm Michael J Fox. I'm not sure how I ended up here, though."

"Uh, Michael... J... Fox?" the blonde nearly gasped. "You mean, Michael J Fox as in... the actor? How can you be Michael J Fox, the actor? You look so young!"

"Yeap, that's me," Mike said, smiling. "I played Alex P Keaton in Family Ties."

"Oh, I really love that show a lot!" gushed the blonde. "Why do you look so young? I mean, I understand we have rejuvenation clinics that can give you a whole natural overhaul - but aren't you supposed to be 59 years old, now? You look like you're under thirty."

"Well, actually, uh," Mike started to say. Then he asked, "What is your name?"

"Harmony," replied the blonde, smiling. "My name is Harmony Brown."

"Well, listen, Harmony, I was wondering if..." Then, realizing something, Mike asked, "Say, would you, by any chance, happen to be related to Dr. Emmett Brown?"

"Yeah, actually I am," replied Harmony. "He's my grandfather. Wait a minute! You know about my grandfather? Well, I guess he is a pretty famous inventer! Heck, we might not even have some of the technology that we have today, if it wasn't for him. So do you need to see him about something?"

"Yeah, I suppose he would be of some help," Mike said, nodding. "So I gather Clara would be your grandma? Your father would be either Jules or Verne?"

"Yeah, Clara is my grandma," Harmony said, somewhat nervously. "Jules is my dad. How do you know about our family, Mike? I didn't think Grandpa was that famous!"

"Well, it's kind of long story," Mike replied, "and I'm not sure if you'd believe me. So would you believe that your grandfather has invented a time machine?"

"How do you know about the time machine, Mike?" Harmony asked, baffled. "Are you sure you're Michael J Fox? The time machine is supposed to be our family secret!"

"Well, listen, Harmony, I could prove it to you," Mike insisted, as he reached into his wallet to pull out his driver's licence and other forms of ID. "Here, look at my driver's licence. My name is Michael Andrew Fox. I was born on June nineth of the year 1961. Furthermore, the licence here expires in 1991. I came here from the year 1990."

"All right, then, Mike," Harmony said, flustered, "I guess I can buy that you somehow found a way to travel through time. Still, why is it that you know so much about my family? My grandfather has never said anything to me anything about ever meeting you, let alone showing you the time machine. He might be a huge fan of yours, but I highly doubt that he would end up showing you the time machine."

"All right, here goes," Mike said, sighing. "First of all, yes, I did travel through time. I came here from the year 1990. However, I also came here from a different reality."

"Whoa, Mike, this is heavy," mumbled Harmony. "So, in other words, you would not be Michael J Fox from this universe?"

"No, I'm not," Mike replied, sighing. "Look, Harmony, how about we go somewhere a little more private. What I'm about to explain to you is pretty complex. I would not blame you if you had difficulty believing me - and, what I need to say might put you into a bit of a shock."

"Well, I'm not sure what would be more shocking then getting a chance to meet my favourite actor from a different universe," replied Harmony. "Should we go Hill Valley Park? There we could discuss where you came from. Yeah, I first found out about the time machine five years ago."

"Oh, all right," said Mike, "yeah, we could go to Hill Valley Park. Now I must warn you to brace yourself, because here comes the shocker. In the universe that I'm from, I played Marty McFly Sr in a movie trilogy called Back to the Future."

"You must be kidding me!" gasped Harmony. "So that's how you know so much about my family? Well, I've always noticed the remarkable similarity between you and the Martys. Next you're going to tell me that you played Marty Jr, as well?"

"Right, exactly," Mike said, nodding, "and Christopher Lloyd played your grandfather, while Mary Steenburgen played your grandmother. Your father and Uncle Verne only made a brief appearence at the end of the trilogy."

"So I wasn't in the trilogy?" asked Harmony. "Gee, this is so heavy!"

"No, Harmony, you weren't," replied Mike. "The trilogy ended with your grandpa and his family returning to 1985, and then departing to an unknown time. That's how the trilogy ends. The ending did kind of suggest that your grandfather may have decided to permanently settle in the Old West with his new family."

"But they obviously didn't," Harmony said, quietly, 'or else, I would have never been born. So what about Marty Jr and Marlene? Were they in the trilogy?"

"Yeah, they were," Mike said, quietly. "They appeared in the 2015 section of Back to the Future Part Two. This was in the timeline when Marty Sr had broken his hand in an automobile accident - when some bully had dared Marty to race him."

"Oh, yeah, I know about that story," gasped Harmony. "Marty Sr told me about that story a few times. I can't imagine Marty Jr being the wimp that was pushed around by Griff Tannen and his gang. In fact, he even took a stand up to Griff a few years ago - when Griff would not stop persuing me."

"Well, that's certainly great to hear," Mike said, smiling. "Although, I have to admit that I did have some fun playing the role of Marty Jr - and even Marlene!"

"What a minute! Mike!" gasped Harmony. "You actually played Marlene, too?"

"Actually, yeah, I did," Mike said, chuckling. "It was kind of hard walking around in those high heels, though. I don't know how you women can put up with that!"

"Well, I'm not too big on heels, myself," replied Harmony. "Boy, Marlene would just die if she ever found out that you played her role in a movie!"

"Well, let's just keep that as our little secret," Mike chuckled. Then, as Harmony and Mike turned into the entryway of Hill Valley Park, Mike commented, "I must say, this is such a beautiful park! I mean, woah, look at all those gorgeous flowers. I wonder if I can take some home with me. Those are so beautiful!"

Harmony just smiled, as she led Mike into a trail.

As Harmony was walking with Mike down a trail at Hill Valley Park, she felt like she was on cloud nine. She finally got to meet one of her favourite actors. Granted, it wasn't the Michael J Fox of this universe - but it didn't really matter. Michael J Fox is Michael J Fox, after all. He was, without a doubt, the same in every universe - or in most universes, anyway.

"So, Harmony," Mike said, softly, "how long have you been dating Marty Jr?"

"Well, it's kind of hard to answer directly," Harmony replied, shrugging. "You see, Marty and I have been best friends from infancy. It was about four years ago, though, that I began to realize that I was in love in with him. Falling in love with your best friend can be very risky - because, I mean, what if the relationship doesn't work out. Then, is your friendship destroyed forever?"

"Right, I understand what you mean," Mike said, nodding. "So do you have a certain date in mind, when you plan to get married?"

"Yeah, actually," Harmony replied, swallowing a bit, "we would like to get married next spring - maybe in April. I have to admit that I do get the jitters, just thinking about it."

"Wow, that sounds awesome," Mike replied, flashing Harmony one of his famous lopsided smiles. "I still remember the day Tracy and I got married. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Unfortunately, though, the paparazzi was after us. Fortunately, though, we were able to thwart them."

"Oh, yeah, Big Marty can tell you all about paparazzi" Harmony said, as she nodded with understanding. "They are often very unwelcome, I know."

"Big Marty?" Mike asked, a bit stunned. "Oh, you mean Marty McFly Sr? Did he become a rock star? Is he still with The Pinheads?"

"Right, he did," replied Harmony. "He retired from touring fifteen years ago, though, so that he could spend more time with his family. Occassionally, he will record some new songs and do a few performances - but he doesn't tour anymore. He disbanded with The Pinheads in the early '90s, in order to go solo."

"Yeah, family is very important," Mike said, nodding. "I really don't want to give up on my acting career, but I really do want to perform closer to home."

"Well, actually, in 1996, you..." Harmony started to say.

"No! No! No! Don't tell me, Harmony!" interjected Mike. "As your grandpa would say, nobody should know too much about their own destiny. If I was to know too much about my own future, it could have some bad replications on the space-time continuum. It's better that I find out about my destiny through the natural course of time."

"Oh, yeah, Mike, you're right," Harmony replied, blushing. "I guess I got a little carried away. At any rate, it's not like your life will be severely threatened."

"Gee, I guess some of Doc is starting to rub off on me," Mike said, laughing. "Even though it was Marty McFly that I played in the trilogy. It's funny how that works."

"Say, Mike, may I ask you a question?" asked Harmony, rather quietly.

"Sure, go right ahead," Mike said, smiling. "What would you like to ask?"

"All right, I know you're a Canadian," Harmony started to say, "and you currently - well, currently in your time - live in the US. I was kinda wondering what your overall opinions are on national pride. Do you believe that national pride has a tendancy to divide humanity?"

"That's a very good question," Mike said, quietly. "I think it's great to have a healthy dose of pride in your country. However, yeah, if you think the people of your country are superior to the rest of the world - then that's wrong. I have a lot of pride in my home country of Canada - and I really love living in the US, too. I always thought it was wonderful having you guys as our neighbours."

"So you would say that," Harmony asked, "on an individual level, there is harmony between the Canadians and the Americans?"

"Oh, absolutely!" gushed Mike. "I mean, you guys are, like, our cousins."

"Yeah, well," Harmony said, blushing, "I guess I sometimes feel so ashamed to be an American. I mean, I get mortified by some of the right-wing radicals in our country who purport to speak for all of us."

"Oh, well, you shouldn't be ashamed to be an American," Mike said, softly. "You should just try to be the best person you can be. That's all anyone can really ask for. Besides, we have our share of loudmouths in Canada, too."

"Yeah, I guess you're right, Mike," Harmony said, quietly. "Say, there is something else I need to mention. It's been bugging me for a long time."

"Oh, what is it, Harmony?" Mike asked, with concern. "What's troubling you, dear?"

"Well, I sometimes fear that Americans are hated around the world," Harmony said, blinking back tears. "Sometimes, when I go on the internet, I see people in other countries insisting that we Americans are hated all over the world. I have even seen a few comments insisting that Americans are especially hated in Canada. Please tell me that's not true. I would hate to think that many Canadians may dislike me - simply because, for some reason or another, God chose to place me south of the border."

Harmony couldn't take it anymore, and she began to cry. Mike drew her close to him, and he put his arms around her, giving her a tight squeeze.

"Oh, Harmony," Mike murmured, as he was on the verge of tears himself, "that is not true at all! I'm sorry that you've encountered some nasty folks from our country online - and it bothers me to see that you're all broken up over it. Trust me, Harmony, most people from our country don't feel that way at all! Just try not to pay any attention to those jerks. They are just simply spewing smoke around. Just forget what they've said!"

"Are you sure about that, Mike?" Harmony pleaded, tearfully. "I mean, I know that you are from Canada, and..."

"I'm positive, Harmony," Mike insisted, gently. "Granted, I did come here from 1990 - and I'm not sure how all the attitudes have changed in the future. I try to keep an optimistic stance, and I would hate to think that society has become more hateful in the future. Anyway, you shouldn't pay any attention to people who make such hateful remarks."

"I guess you're right, Mike," Harmony said, as she wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. "I guess I shouldn't take such comments so seriously. It's just I resent the fact that we Americans are sometimes stereotyped as being 'arrogant' or 'ignorant'. I can't help it that I was born in this country."

"Just cheer up, Harmony!" Mike urged, as he gently squeezed Harmony's shoulder, and flashed her a lopsided smile. "You seem to me like a very bright girl. You have such a nice personality, you know. Just be the best person you can be, okay? I really don't like to see you so distressed."

"Yeah, thanks, Mike," Harmony stammered, as she was blinking back tears. 'I always thought you had a great personality, too. You're so likeable, and you really have a way of putting me at ease."

"Aw, thank you,' gushed Mike, as he hugged Harmony. "So is there anything else that's on your mind? It really hurts me to see you cry, you know. Whenever I see others cry - I always feel like crying, too."

"Well, I guess I'm a bit of a cosmopolitanist," Harmony replied. "I think we are all humans trying to make the make the most of our lives. We shouldn't let borders on the map divide humanity, you know. We should all be able to live in harmony with one another."

"Oh, I absolutely agree with you!" replied Mike. "In an ideal world, we would all embrace diversity, and we would all live harmoniously together. I think it would be nice to see that become reality, someday. It's probably not going to happen in my lifetime, though - or even yours."

"Yeah, sadly, you're probably right," Harmony said - as she was on the verge of tears, again. "I swear, I sometimes get so depressed by how much hatred and violence exists in this world. Sometimes, I even start to question humanity."

"Aw, Harmony, I think you need another hug," Mike said, as he threw his arms around Harmony. Harmony embraced Mike tightly, and felt comforted in his soothing arms. "You know, I'm certain there are lots of people in the world who are just like you and me - and only desire for everyone to get along and be accepting of one another. Harmony, you have to look at the positive."

"Thank you so much, Mike," Harmony mumbled. "You are so sweet. I'll think of everything that you told me. Sometimes it is easy to lose faith in humanity, though."

"Let's think more positively, now, shall we?" suggested Mike, as he gently squeezed Harmony's shoulders. "So, Harmony, what kind of music do you listen to?"

"I listen to rock and roll," replied Harmony, as she lifted her head. "The '80s is my favourite decade for music. My favourite band is Huey Lewis and The News."

"They are a great band, aren't they?" Mike said, smiling. "I really enjoy The Power of Love. That's such a great tune. It has a real nice catchy beat to it, doesn't it?"

"I like that song, too," replied Harmony. "However, my absolute favourite song is Hip To Be Square. That song I think is also very nice and catchy."

"Ah, yeah, that's a wonderful song, too," replied Mike, smiling. "So, anyway, it's such a lovely day out - and the sun is shining real brightly. Why don't we relax here for awhile - then we can try to contact Dr. Brown a little later?"

"That sounds great, Mike," replied Harmony. "I know Marty will be so excited about meeting you, too. He was always a big fan, as well."

Chapter Three

BTTF Universe

Marty McFly Jr was taking a short hike through the trail at Hill Valley Park, as he was pondering over his life. To the casual on-looker, he looked just like your average 22-year-old man. He was a very short fellow, but he was also regarded by many as being being handsome. He has been engaged to a really beautiful girl named Harmony, whom he had known ever since he was a baby. In spite of being best friends their whole lives, they have only been in a romantic relationship for a little less than five years. He was never really too fond of sports, but he was quite a talented guitarist who had dreams of rock stardom - just like his father.

The one thing that had set him apart from other guys his age, though, was the fact that he was privy to Doc Brown's time machine. In fact, he himself had even taken a few adventures through time. While he has always been very close to his own father, having been in a few adventures with the teenage version of his father had caused them to have a rather unusual relationship within the past few years. He could not help but ponder over what was going through his parents' heads, when they finally were giving birth to him.

Just then, Marty Jr saw a sight that stunned him. He caught a glimpse of Harmony walking several yards away, and he noticed that she was with someone who looked exactly like him. Right away, he was wondering if a younger version of his father had decided to take another trip into the future.

"Harmony," Marty Jr called out, causing Harmony and his look-alike to turn around, with surprise.

"Oh, hi, Marty," gushed Harmony, blushing a little bit. "You know, this is Michael J Fox that I'm with. It's so nice that I've finally gotten a chance to meet him."

Marty Jr was immediately stunned, as he couldn't believe what his fiance had just said. How was it possible for his look-alike be Michael J Fox, the actor? Granted, he has often been compared with the actor - but the actor would be much older in this era. Unless, for some reason or another, Doc had showed the actor his time machine in the past.

"So are you really Marty Jr?" Michael asked, shocked. "You really do look exactly like me. You even sound like me."

"How could you be... Michael J Fox?" Marty Jr asked, stunned. "Are you sure you're not my father from the past?"

"I'm positive," replied Michael, as he took our his driver's licence to show Marty Jr.

"Jesus, I guess you weren't kidding, uh, Michael," replied Marty Jr. "So how did you get here, then? I mean, I'm so happy that I finally have a chance to meet you - but you look so... so young."

"I came here from a different reality," explained Mike, with a lopsided smile. "I don't even know how I got here. I was taking a walk in a park - and then, somehow, I ended up being warped into this reality. Harmony had mistaken me for you, and I had immediately assumed she was just a very passionate fan. I mean, it did take quite a while for it to finally sink in that I was no longer in my reality."

"So you believe you're in another reality?" Marty Jr asked, stunned. "You didn't just travel through time?"

"Well, there's something else I need to tell you," Mike explained. "I had already explained this to Harmony, and it was a little surprising how well she took it. I guess the two of you are pretty used to weirdness, though."

"What he's trying to is," Harmony chimed in, "in the reality he came from, we were the subject of a movie trilogy the he had acted in. Well, I wasn't in the trilogy - but you were, at least for a little bit. Your father and my grandfather did have the biggest roles, though. If I am understanding correctly, the trilogy revolved around their very first adventures travelling through time. Am I correct, Mike?"

"That is correct," replied Mike, blushing a little. "Gee, I can hardly believe that I am actually standing here and having a conversation with the offspring of the main characters of a best-selling trilogy that I starred in. On top of that, I had even played one of you in the trilogy - thus, that's why we look exactly alike."

Harmony glanced from Marty Jr to Mike and back. She was quite shocked that the two of them had not fainted from the shock of seeing each other, as had happened when Marty Jr first saw his father as a teenager.

"Are you guys serious about this?" Marty Jr asked, stunned. "You really played me in a movie, Michael?"

"Well, you were not my main role," Mike said, quietly. "Your father was my main role in the trilogy. Anyway, it was obviously a different version of you that I had played. You were... Well, how should I say this? The version of you that I had played was someone who let Griff Tannen and the gang push him around, and he just couldn't say no. Your father from 1985 took your place, so that you wouldn't be arrested."

"Oh, yeah," Marty Jr said, grimacing, "my father had already told me about that version of me. Gee, I have a really hard time believing that this other person really was me."

"Well, he wasn't really you," Mike said, as he gently placed his hand on Marty Jr. "He was more of a shadow of what you could have been like, if your father's life was not as successful. I wouldn't worry about it too much."

"Yeah, Mike is right," added Harmony, in agreement. "I must say that it is still quite shocking to think that we're the subject of a movie in another universe. Well, I wasn't - but you know what I mean. Not only that, but it was also the subject of a movie trilogy that the great Michael J Fox had starred in."

"Harmony!" protested Mike, laughing. "You're going to give me a pretty big head. So you gather you are a fan, too?"

"We're both fans," Marty Jr explained, smiling. "Only, in this reality, you have never starred in a movie centred around my father's life. However, you did star in a famous trilogy called Mind Warped - where you played two counterparts who had swapped universes. They were filmed in 1985, 1989, and 1990."

"Holy shit!" gasped Mike, stunned. Then, blushing, he added, "Pardon my French, but that trilogy has been filmed in exactly the same years that the trilogy centred around your father's life was filmed. I can hardly believe it."

"We can watch that trilogy later, if you'd like," Harmony suggested, warmly.

"Well, uh," Mike said, blushing, "it isn't really necessary."

"Come on now, Mike," Harmony prodded, as she ran her finger along the dimple in Mike's left cheek, making him laugh a little. "You know you want to. You're curious to watch it. Don't be so coy."

"All right, then," Mike said, laughing. "So, where shall we head to next?"

"How about our apartment," suggested Marty Jr. "Harmony and I have been living there for about a year, now."

"You know, I am a bit hungry," Mike said, smiling. "I suppose you wouldn't like to eat at the Cafe '80s, would you?"

"Uh, no, not really," replied Harmony. "Otherwise, we may have to explain why there are two of you there."

"All right, then," Mike replied, laughing. "I understand what you mean. We could always talk with Doc a little later."

"He wanted to spend the day alone with Grandma, anyway," explained Harmony. "As long as you don't really mind being in our reality for a little while, I don't want to bug him about things that can wait."

"Right, I don't mind at all," replied Mike, warmly. "Although, I would like to return home, eventually. I must say, however, this is quite a surreal experience for me. I really do wonder what Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale would say, if they ever found this out. I bet they never expected to see their screenplays ever become reality."

"It does make you wonder if writing fictional stories create fictional worlds," Marty Jr suggested, smiling. "Maybe the worlds already do exist, and people with an overactive imagination just have a way to tap into them."

"It's hard to really say," replied Mike, "but I don't feel like doing any heavy thinking right now. I think I would just like to relax for a little while. At any rate, it is nice meeting the two of you."

"It's been really nice meeting you, too, Mike," Harmony replied warmly.

The three of them then began to make their way to Marty Jr's and Harmony's apartment building.

Mike felt as if he was in a bit of a daze, as he was riding in the hover-car with Marty Jr and Harmony. He wondered if there were any other actors who had a tendency to get stuck in movies or TV shows that they acted in. However, Mike had never been stuck in the universe of any other movie or TV show. Maybe Doc's time machine was more real than many might believe.

"Are you feeling okay, Mike?" Marty Jr asked, gently.

"Yeah, uh, I'm fine," replied Mike, quietly. "It's just that it's strange to think that I'm in the car with someone who was a character that I played in a movie. I don't want to freak you out or anything - but I feel like this has to be a dream, or something."

"Maybe you just need me to hydrate you a pizza," Harmony suggested, laughing.

"Yeah, Harmony," Marty Jr said, laughing. "You sure can hydrate a pizza."

"Is it from Pizza Hut?" asked Mike. "Do you have any that's just cheese on it?"

"Hey, you're just like us," Marty Jr said, laughing. "I never was that big on pepperoni or sausage. We also have a few bottles of Pepsi Perfect."

"Yeah, I'll have a Pepsi Perfect," Mike said, smiling. "I'm not sure I know how to open up one of those bottles, though. You know, I really don't think 'our' 2015 will be like this at all. It'll probably be quite different."

"Oh, why do you figure that, Mike?" Harmony asked, with curiosity.

"Well, Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale wrote the future like this as a joke," explained Mike. "Anyway, it's not like they have a crystal ball and can predict the future - or at least not that I know of. It was only 1989 when we had filmed the 2015 scene in the second film. So I highly doubt that our future will turn out to be like this."

"Hey, I just thought of something," gasped Harmony. "Remember how I mentioned that my grandfather was a famous inventor. Because he would only be a fictional character in your reality, he wasn't around the create the fusion formula that led to all the inventions that we have today. That would make the most sense."

"Goodness, Harmony!" gasped Mike. "I never even thought of this, really. In fact, I'm not sure that even Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale thought of it. Considering that the original script for the first film had your grandpa responsible for creating a different 1982 at the end of the film, I guess this isn't really too surprising."

"What are you talking about, Mike?" Harmony asked.

"Yeah, I think you lost me, Mike," added Marty Jr.

"Well, the idea of Back to the Future was first conceived in 1980," explained Mike. "It was back when I was still a relatively unknown actor. In the original script, your dad was a seventeen year old boy in 1982 - and he travelled back in time to 1952. Also, Harmony, your grandpa didn't have a doctorate - and he was just a professor."

"Whoa, this is heavy, Mike," breathed Marty Jr. "That would make my father three years older than he currently is."

"In my personal opinion," said Mike, "the original script is not anywhere near as good as the final script. I am sure the idea of returning to an era where the whole world is different from the one you left would be a bit depressing. In the final script, it really was only Biff Tannen and your father's immediate family that changed."

"I wonder if that world does exist in another reality," suggested Marty Jr, smiling.

"Well, you never really know," replied Mike. "It could very well be possible."

"Well, here we are, now," Marty Jr said, as he landed the DeLorean. "We live in the apartment over on the left side, on the first floor."

"It looks like Melody decided to visit us," Harmony said, as she saw a rather familiar pink car in the driveway.

"Melody?" Mike asked, intrigued. "So I gather she'd be your sister, Harmony?"

"Yeah, she is, in fact," replied Harmony. "How did you guess, Mike?"

"Well, I figured that if your name was Harmony," Mike explained, "you might possibly have a sister named Melody. It looks like your parents were rather clever in naming the two of you. So do you have any other brothers or sisters?"

"Nope," replied Harmony. "There's just Melody. She is one year younger than me."

"Well, hello, you guys!" called out Melody, as she ran to join the trio. Then, as she glanced from Marty Jr to Mike and back, she added, "Are one of you, by any chance, Big Marty from the past?"

"Nope," replied Mike. "My name is Michael J Fox. I came here from the year 1990."

"Are you serious?" Melody asked, baffled.

Mike and Harmony glanced at each other, wondering if Mike should explain the story again. Apparently, Melody also knew about time travel.

"Here, check out my driver's licence," offered Mike, as he reached into his wallet.

"Wow! I guess you aren't kidding!" gasped Melody. "So then, how did you..."

"Please, not right now," Mike said, quietly. "I'm rather hungry, and Harmony offered to hydrate us a pizza. I wonder how the hydrator works, anyway."

"Well, at any rate," Melody said, smiling, "it's nice to meet you, Michael!"

"It's nice to meet you, too, Melody," replied Mike, smiling.

As the quartet walked up to the door, Harmony placed her thumb to the plate, and a computerized voice called out, "Welcome home, Harmony."

Mike couldn't but but laugh to hear that particular invention in action.

"What are you laughing at, Mike?" teased Harmony, as she ran her finger along the dimple in Mike's left cheek.

"It's just funny how that thing works," replied Mike. "So none of these doors have doorknobs on them? Do any buildings still have doorknobs?"

"Mostly just the really old buildings," explained Harmony. "These thumb plates are far more convenient. You never have to worry about losing your keys. You can keep out the people that you don't want entering your house, and you can set the status to determine who all is authorized to enter youir home."

"This sounds really neat," replied Mike, as everyone stepped into the apartment.

"Lights on," called out Harmony. "Radio on. KKHV please!"

"And that was Time Bomb Town by Lindsey Buckingham," the disc jockey announced. "Up next is a huge 1980s classic, The Power of Love by Huey Lewis and The News."

Just then, The Power of Love started playing from the radio.

"We have HD radio," explained Harmony. "It's nice to be able to pick up hundreds of radio stations. I know that, back in the '80s, you had to worry about static."

"That sounds wonderful," Mike said, impressed. "So what are we going to do now?"

"Oh, would you like a Pepsi Perfect?" asked Harmony. "Then I'll hydrate us some pizza and breadsticks - and I'll heat up some marinara sauce."

"Sounds good," replied Mike. "My mouth is watering, just thinking of it."

Marty Jr then placed a small dehydrated pizza in the middle of a pizza pan. Mike picked up the wrapper that the pizza was in, and he was amazed that the wrapper looked exactly the same as the prop wrapper that was used for the movie.

Harmony placed the pizza into the Black and Decker hydrator, she said, "Hydrate level four, please." After about four seconds, Harmony opened up the hydrator and took out the pizza.

"That's very impressive," gasped Mike, with astonishment.

Harmony grabbed the pan that the breadsticks was on, and she put it in the hydrator and repeated the process. The quartet than gathered around the table.

"All right, everyone," called out Harmony. "Dig in and help yourselves."

Mike reached out for a slice of pizza, and he was amazed by how good it tasted.

"Thank you for the food, Harmony," Mike said, gratefully.

"Oh, you're very welcome," replied Harmony, smiling.

I really could get used to this life, Mike thought to himself, smiling.

BTTF Universe

Mike was eating a heaping bowl of chip and mint ice cream, as he sat on the couch with Marty Jr and Harmony. Melody reached for the DVD set that held the Mind Warped trilogy, and she placed the first disc in the DVD player. It felt rather surreal to know that he was about to watch a movie that he never actually acted in.

"Are you all ready?" Melody asked, smiling. "This is one of the greatest trilogies of all time. Heck, this was even what had made you into a star on the big screen, Mike. Although, you were awesome in Family Ties, too."

"I still remember how I really wanted to be in the movie," Mike explained, "when I first heard about the filming of Back to the Future. I had absolutely no idea that I was the Bobs first choice. Gary David Goldberg from Family Ties was very reluctant about letting me be in the movie, because Meredith Baxter was pregnant at the time. However, the Bobs had decided that Eric Stoltz wasn't working out for them - so they were finally able to persuade Gary Goldberg to let me star in the movie."

"That sounds very similar to the situation with Mind Warped," Harmony said, smiling. "Because Gary Goldberg refused to let you leave Family Ties for the movie, the directers had settled on Eric Stoltz. When it was decided that Eric was too serious in his acting, then they fired him - and then they were finally able to cast you in the movie."

"You know, this isn't the first time something like this happened to me," Mike said, quietly. "I still remember how I ended up switching places with Marty Sr about four and a half years ago. I think this was in a different reality, though. Looking back, it appears that the events of the sequels never happened. I mean, Doc was still living all by himself. Clara and the boys didn't exist. I guess that was because the sequels weren't filmed, yet."

"Whoa, Mike, this is heavy," breathed Marty Jr. "So how did you end up switching places with my father?"

"It was Doc's telepathic device that had gone awry," explained Mike. "For some reason, the first thought that ended up coming to your father's mind was imagining that his life was a movie. So, as a result, I ended up inside of your father's body in his world - and vice versa. I am so glad that your father did not get me in trouble."

"Oh, what do you mean?" Harmony asked. "How could Marty have gotten you in trouble? Are you saying that you woke up inside of Marty's body - and vice versa? Grandpa's time machine had nothing to do with this?"

"Right, exactly," replied Mike. "Well, if Marty kept insisting that his name was Marty McFly - he may have ended up getting me committed. After all, Marty McFly was a character that I had played in a movie. I mean, I imagine it was even harder for him - than it was for me. At least I knew that I could talk to Doc about my predicament."

"I wonder what went wrong this time," Melody said, sighing. "Tomorrow, we'll really have to be sure to explain this situation to Doc. As nice as it is having you here, Mike, I'm sure you would like to make it home eventually. There is also no telling if this might have any drastic effects on the space-time continuum."

"I'm not going to panic about the whole situation," Mike said, smiling. "I would rather view this as being a little vacation. At least I'm in my own body, this time. It was rather unsettling to have to pretend that I'm Marty McFly. Even though I played Marty McFly in a movie, this was far different. This time, I wasn't just acting for a movie. I was trapped in a different body and a different world, and I was unsure of if I would ever return home."

"That's the spirit, Mike," Harmony said, smiling. "I've heard all about how optimistic you are. I believe it was in late 1989 that Big Marty first had the opportunity to meet you."

"Oh, you mean my counterpart in this world?" Mike asked, smiling. "You know, I wasn't sure if I would really have a counterpart in the Back to the Future Universe - when I came here the first time around. I mean, I understand there are some people who think seriously about this sort of stuff - and a few of them believe that actors don't exist in the realities of the movies or TV shows that they acted in. It's almost like I have two counterparts here."

"Don't you mean three?" asked Marty Jr. "You did say that you played me in the trilogy, too, right?"

"If you want to be technical," Mike replied, laughing, "I would have five counterparts here. I actually played four different characters in the entire trilogy. Your father was my main role. There was also you and your sister, which only made up a minor portion of Part Two. Then, in Part Three, I played Seamus - who would be your ancestor."

"You really don't look too much like Seamus, though," Marty Jr said, frowning. "He had reddish brown hair. You look more like his brother, Martin. My dad told me a little bit about Seamus and Martin."

"I look like Martin?" Mike asked, stunned. "You mean the brother who was stabbed in the gut with a bowie knife in a saloon in Virginia City, Nevada? He was never in the movie!"

"What are you talking about, Mike?" Marty Jr asked, confused. "Martin was never stabbed in a saloon! He lived until he finally died of old age. He ended up marrying Juniper, who was an indirect ancestor of my mom."

"Hm, now that's interesting," Mike said, quietly. "Do you think it's possible that either your parents or Doc might have gone back in time to change Martin's destiny?"

"Dad never told me about that," Marty Jr replied, "but I suppose that could be possible. I'll have to ask him about that. I love hearing about Martin and Juniper, and how much they had in common with our parents. Although they were distantly related to my parents, they were not direct ancestors - so my parents could marry legally."

"Whoa, now that's such an interesting story," Mike replied, smiling. "Say, may I have some cheese puffs? I could go for something a little salty, now. Anyway, they had me put on a wig and some facial hair - when they had me perform as Seamus. I guess they didn't want Seamus to look exactly like Marty."

"I'm almost tempted to tell Marlene about this," Harmony said, smirking. "She would be so shocked to find out about this. She's a bit sensitive about her femininity. So what was it like to play Marlene?"

"Well, it was nice to do something a little different," commented Mike. "This is not something that I would like to do often, though. Anyway, Marty was my main role. He was the only character that I didn't have to alter my voice or appearance for. Anyway, let's watch the movies, now, shall we?"

"That's a great idea," Harmony gushed. "I'll go get the cheese curls, and then we can watch the trilogy."

"Hey, Mike," called out a feminine voice, as Mike woke up, "why don't you wake up? Breakfast is almost ready."

"I'll be up in a little while, Tracy," mumbled Mike, as he turned in his bed. "So have you given Sam his bath yet?"

"Uh, I'm Harmony," the feminine voice corrected, gently. "Do you remember where you are, Mike?"

"Uh, Harmony," Mike mumbled, as he was still half-asleep. "Harmony who? Where am I, and where do I know you from?"

"Mike, you're in the Back to the Future Universe," Harmony said, gently. "Gee, it sounds very strange for me to say this. You were walking by the Cafe '80s yesteday - and I had mistaken you for my fiance, Marty Jr."

Mike suddenly sat up straight in bed, as he was stunned. "So this really did happen?" Mike asked, quietly. "So this was not just a dream. I can't believe this is really happening."

"Everything will be okay, Mike," Harmony said, as she placed a hand on Mike's right shoulder. "We'll explain all of this to Doc, and he should be able to find a way for you to return home. I'm baking some coffee cake for breafast."

"Coffee cake sounds nice," Mike replied, as his mouth watered with hunger. "Just give me a few minutes. I'm still a little bit disoriented. I'm really worried about my wife. She might be worried sick about me right now."

"Maybe Doc could find a way to send you back to the same moment that you came here from," suggested Harmony. "Don't worry so much about this, okay? Perhaps it was something that Doc did, that brought you over here. I guess I should just give you a few minutes to fully wake up. The coffee cake should be done in about ten minutes."

"Thanks, Harmony," Mike replied, as he flashed Harmony one of his famous lopsided smiles. "I will be in the kitchen very soon. It's been wonderful spending time with you yesterday, but I am very concerned about my wife."

"Just try to relax, Mike," Harmony said, soothingly. "I guess I'll see you out in the kitchen soon, then."

Mike sighed to himself, as he stepped out of bed. The coffee cake did smell very delicious, and he was feeling very hungry. He began to wish he had woken up sooner, so that he could bake his mother's special recipe for them. He felt the desire to bring back a copy of the Mind Warped trilogy, although he couldn't really watch them with anyone. For a minute, he was tempted to contact his other self - then he realized that it would not be a good idea. Anyway, his dimensional counterpart would be thirty years older than him.

oooooooooo

"So, is Mike getting out of bed?" Marty Jr asked, as Harmony walked into the kitchen.

"Yeah, he's getting up," Harmony replied, smiling. "He was just a little disoriented, though. He's really concerned that his wife might be worried about him. I told him, though, that Doc would probably be able to find a way to send him back to the moment that he came here from. I hope for Mike's sake, that Doc can send him back hime. Although, I do have to admit that the selfish part of me wants him to stay. He is Michael J Fox, after all."

Just then, the doorbell began to ring. Marty Jr and Harmony made their way towards the living room door. After they opened the door, they were stunned to discover that it was Marty Sr and Jennifer.

"So, how are my son and future daughter-in-law doing?" Marty Sr asked, smiling. "Whew, I smell coffee cake!"

"The two of you might have a hard time believing this," Harmony said, smiling, "but Michael J Fox is here with us!"

"Holy shit!" gasped Marty Sr. "You have gotta be kidding! I haven't seen the Foxster in over ten years!"

"Well, he's from a different dimension," Harmony explained. "I'm really not sure how to explain this to you, but he came here from a dimension that he, uh, well, he played you in a movie trilogy."

"Was it, by any chance, called Back to the Future?" Marty Sr asked, stunned. "Is that the one you mean?"

"Dad!" Marty Jr gasped, stunned. "How did you know that? Have you met this version of Michael before?"

"Well, no, not exactly," Marty Sr replied, "but, uh, I believe we should maybe discuss this over breakfast. I mean, Michael might want to hear about this, too. That poor guy must be so confused right now."

"Actually, he said it's really not the first time that something like this happened to him," Harmony explained. "He told me that he once switched places with you, shortly after acting in the first film."

"Huh?" Marty Sr asked, confused. "I don't remember this ever happening. I never switched places with Michael."

"Oh, uh, well," Harmony stammered, "he did say that this took place in a different reality, where the events of the sequels had never happened. I guess that's because the sequels hadn't been filmed yet."

"Whoa, this is heavy," muttered Marty Sr. "Well, Doc should be available sometime this afternoon. You know, I still sometimes wish I could be a teenager again. Knowing that even our own children are no longer teenagers, I sometimes feel so old. At least they have rejuvinations, now. Hey, is that the Foxster over there?"

"Oh, uh, hello," Mike said, as he walked over. "Are the two of you, by any chance, Marty Sr and Jennifer? I woke up just a little while ago, and I am feeling so hungry. It's so nice to meet you."

"It's so nice to meet you, too," Marty Sr said, smiling. "This is very weird, to think that I'm talking to the same actor who played me in a movie trilogy. I mean, I have met this reality's version of you before - but this is still so different. You and my son really are mirror images of each other."

"Oh, so did your son and Harmony already tell you about who I was?" Mike asked, a little baffled.

"Well, a little bit," replied Jennifer. "They did tell us that you came from another reality where you played me in a movie trilogy, but I already knew that you played me in a movie trilogy called Back to the Future."

"Oh, well, how did you know that?" Mike asked, confused. "I mean, I don't think I ever met you before. Have you met some other versions of me, perhaps?"

"Well, no, not exactly," Marty Sr said, quietly. "I did find out from some of your other characters that I have met from other realities - from people like Alex P Keaton, Joe Rasnick, and Brantley Foster. After all, the Back to the Future trilogy existed in all of those universes, too."

"Whoa, this really is heavy," Mike replied, as he flashed them a lopsided smile. "Well, if you really have a way to meet all of these characters from other universes - then Doc maybe has a way to send me back home."

"Hey, I just thought of something," Marty Sr blurted out. "How did you enter this reality, anyway?"

"Well, I was taking a walk in the park," Mike explained, "then there was this strong wind pulling at me. Next thing I know, I find myself in this world - exactly thirty years in the future. I was very confused."

"This is similar to what happened to Alex, Joe, and Brantley," gasped Marty Sr. "The only major difference is, they didn't end up thirty years ahead in time. They were warped here to the same day, time, and year."

"Hey guys," called out Harmony, as a buzzer went off. "The coffee cake is done now. It is nice that we finally seem to be getting somewhere. We'll have to talk with Doc this afternoon."

Everyone was quiet, as they headed into the kitchen. Harmony was rather curious about Marty's adventures with Alex, Joe, and Brantley. She never really considered the idea of fictional worlds existing in parallel universes before.

Chapter Seven

BTTF Universe

Mike was feeling a little nervous, as he was riding over to Dr. Brown's home. Granted, he met the Doc once before - but this was a different version of Doc that he was about to meet. Also, he had not seen the other Doc in over four years. He began to wonder what Christopher Lloyd would think, if Chris was warped into this world with him.

"It's so strange, Mike," commented Marty Sr. "I mean, it's very strange to think that you came from another reality where you actually played me in a movie trilogy. I wonder what your counterpart in this reality would think?"

"I'm sure he would find that to be rather freaky," Mike replied, as he laughed a little. "It's still hard for me to believe that this is actually happening. It will be so hard to not talk about this with Tracy. She might think that I had gone loony, or something. At least I didn't end up in the Family Ties Universe."

"Why do you say that?" Marty Sr asked, with curiosity. "I've been in the Family Ties Universe before, and I thought that it was great spending time with the Keaton family. Even if Mallory was a little hostile towards me, at first."

"Well, it's not that," replied Mike. "It's just that I don't think I really would have been able to find a way back home. After all, there was no famous inventer in that TV series. Know what I mean?"

"Oh, I get it now," Marty Sr replied, with some nervous laughter. "I believe Doc will be able to find a way to send you back home. It seems like you came here in a similar manner as Alex, Brantley, and Joe did."

"Gee, Martin," Harmony said, sighing a little, "there's so much about your adventures that you never told us about. I really am starting to envy you and Jennifer. It seems like the two of you have had so many adventures."

"There were lots of drawbacks, you know," Marty Sr told Harmony. "Believe me, Harmony, all of those adventures that Jennifer and I had through the fourth dimension could be very stressful a lot of the time. It really wasn't all fun and games all of the time. There's a saying, you know, about how the grass always looks greener on the other side."

"He does have a point, Harmony," added Mike, nodding. "This isn't to say that I didn't enjoy spending time with you folks, but it is a little scary to find yourself in a dimension that you don't belong to. One would think that this should not even be possible. I'm stuck in the world of a movie trilogy that I had starred in. I mean, how freaky is that, do you think? Nobody at home will believe me about this."

"Don't forget, Mike," Marty Jr said, smiling, "Harmony and I are going through the same thing, in reverse. It is so freaky to think that we are actually figments of someone's imagination in another dimension."

"Well, not me so much," Harmony said, laughing, "as I was never a character in the trilogy. It is rather unsettling to think this world was created by someone's imagination, though."

"Well, I see what you guys are saying," Mike said, smiling. "Anyway, I guess the point I was making was that it can be rather stressful to take trips through the fourth dimension. So you really shouldn't envy Marty and Jennifer too much. That being said, though, I do sometimes wonder how Alex P Keaton and I would get along."

"I'm sure the two of you would get along great," replied Marty Sr. "You're both such nice guys."

"Well, thank you," replied Mike, smiling. "It is nice getting to see the future technology of 2020 in this reality. I'm sure that the 2020 in the reality that I came from will not be as advanced. When the Bobs were figuring out the technology of 2015, they decided to poke fun at the 1980s - hence why you have the Cafe '80s in town."

"Gee, Mike," Harmony said, stunned, "this is, uh, very interesting. I'm not sure what to make of all of this."

"Just relax, Harmony," Mike urged, as he gently squeezed Harmony's shoulder. "Everything will be fine."

"We are at the Browns' house, now," announced Marty Sr, as he began to land the hover-car. "I called Doc early this morning, and he and Clara should be home right now."

"They are," replied Jennifer. "I see their car parked in the garage. We'll explain to Doc what happened yesterday."

"So how did Clara take to 20th century technology?" Mike asked. "I've been wondering that since yesterday. I'm sure it must have been a real culture shock to her, and perhaps a little bit scary."

"She was a little scared at first," replied Marty Sr, "but she was able to adjust rather quickly. When you think of it, modern technology is a lot more convenient in many ways."

"You know, shortly after the filming of the first film," Mike commented, "I was asked what time period I would like to visit, and I commented that I would like to visit the Old West. A lot of us, as children, have dreams of being a cowboy. Interesting enough, this was before the Bobs even considered filming a sequel."

"So would you still like to visit the Old West?" asked Harmony.

"Well, yeah, it would be a nice place to visit," replied Mike, "but I wouldn't want to live there. I would miss the conveniences of modern technology, after all."

Mike was feeling a little nervous, as everyone walked up to the front door of the Browns' house. Marty Sr then rang the doorbell of the house, and Doc arrived rather quickly.

"Wow!" gasped Doc, as he opened up the door. "It's so nice to see all of you. Maybe we could have a backyard picnic later this evening, and... Great Scott!" Doc glanced slowly between Mike and Marty Jr, and continued, "Why do I see two of you here? Did you use one of my time machines without asking me?"

"Actually, I'm Michael J Fox," Mike blurted out. "I came here from a universe where I played Marty in a trilogy."

"Great Scott!" gasped Doc. "We have to get you back home, uh, Michael! How did you get here, anyway?"

"Well, we should maybe head inside first," suggested Marty Jr, "unless we want the whole neighbourhood to hear us."

"Feel free to help yourself to some cookies," Doc invited, as everyone entered the house. "Clara spent most of last night baking some sugar cookies. This might be 2020, but Clara still really enjoys baking cookies the old-fashioned way - by scratch! She's taking a nap right now, so try to be quiet."

"These are very good cookies," Mike said, admiringly, as he bit into a cookie. "I agree that I like my bakery to be made from scratch, too. The instant stuff just doesn't taste as good, you know."

"Grandma does bake the best cookies," agreed Harmony. "She really decorated these cookies nicely, didn't she?"

"You know, uh, Doc," Mike said, smiling, "I must say that you look very remarkable for a hundred years old."

"Thank you," Doc replied, "even though I am probably a little closer to 110 years old. I spent almost nine years in the Old West, before moving back to 1985. Then I probably used up over another year by taking various trips through time. The rejuvinations really do come in handy, you know."

"So I guess people are capable of longer life spans now," Mike said, smiling. "I greatly wish our future would turn out to be this great, you know. You guys are so lucky to live in this world."

"How do you know the future in your world won't turn out to be this great?" Doc asked, somewhat puzzled.

"Well, it's kind of a long explanation," Mike replied. "I'm really hoping you can help me to return home."

"I'm sure I can handle that," Doc replied, smiling encouragingly. "Just tell us how you came into this world, and I should be able to find a way to get you back home."

Mike took a deep breath, then he began to explain to Doc about what happened yesterday.

"Great Scott," gasped Doc, after Mike finished telling his story. "You know, I did conduct a few experiments on the temporal locator. This was a device that I started working on, when I was still living in the Old West. This device was supposed to grab objects from other time periods. I figured that it would come in rather handy, so that I could transport some futuristic items back to the Old West. Apparently, the temporal locator has malfunctioned again."

"All right, Doc, you lost me," Mike said, scratching his head. "Could you explain this in plain English, please?"

"Oh, uh, sorry," Doc mumbled. "This was supposed to be a device which could locate objects from other time periods, and transport them to the Old West. It's supposed to be more convenient than the time machine, because you can send the items back to the same time that you got them from - so it would neatly avoid paradoxes. This also doesn't need as much electricity as the time machine does, so I figured that it was a very handy device to have."

"That does sound pretty neat," Harmony commented. "So you think that it's your something-or-other locator that must be on the fritz, or something?"

"Precisely," replied Doc. "For the longest time, I was actually able to use this device without a hitch. It came in very handy during the years that I was in the Old West, and even for some time after moving back to 1985. It wasn't until the summer of 1987, that I started to have problems with the device. For one thing, I never did intend to use that device to transport people from other time periods.I always found that to be a major risk."

"So, let me guess," Mike said, quietly. "It was during that summer of 1987 that Alex P Keaton, Brantley Foster, and Joe Rasnick ended up being warped into this dimension?"

"Precisely," replied Doc. "It took me a few days to figure out that it was my temporal locator that was responsible for bring all of your characters into this universe. After I repaired the temporal locator, I was able to send them all back to their respective universes. What happened was, a circuit that had shorted inside the device had created a rip within the space-time continuum, causing three of your characters to become sucked into this universe."

"Oh, my goodness!" gasped Mike. "So why did it decide to suck Alex, Brantley, and Joe into this world? I understand a little bit of what you're saying, but it's not like that device indiscriminately sucked people into this world."

"That's true," replied Doc, sighing. "What happened was, some of Marty's hair was stuck in the device - so that had caused three of your characters to be sucked here. I never really could figure out why the device did not just drag three other Martys. Perhaps, it was because the rip within the space-time continuum was rather large."

"So do you think the same thing may have happened this time?" asked Mike, as he felt very nervous. "I wonder why it choose to drag me, of all people into this world. Maybe that device of yours is pretty intelligent?"

"It could be very likely," Doc said, sighing. "Well, why don't you all just stay in our house today - and I will go take a look at the temporal locator. Then I could maybe send you back home later tonight, Mike."

"That sounds great, Doc," replied Mike. "Say, so you mind if I bake some coffee cake for tonight. My mom has a very special recipe, and I just want to give you guys a nice. I could even pay for the ingredients, if you'd like."

"I think it's better if you just let us pay," commented Marty Jr. "We really don't want you to end up charging your counterpart for the ingredients, as it may just confuse the poor guy. Also, I am really not sure that your currency from 1990 would go very far. The inflation has gone up considerably within the last thirty years."

"Oh, yeah, I forgot about that," Mike said, blushing. "You really don't mind buying the ingredients? I figured that I would make a special treat for you people. I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like the coffee cake."

"Oh, yeah, I remember the coffee cake," Marty Sr gushed. "I still remember when I met your counterpart in 1980, and he decided to suprise us in the morning by making coffee cake for us. I still remember how much of a good baker you were. It is a real pleasure to meet you, Mike. You are such a kind person."

"Thanks very much," Mike replied, smiling. "So Harmony told me that you retired from your career fifteen years ago? I really would like to bring some of your recordings back with me, if you don't mind."

"Oh, no, I don't mind at all," replied Marty Sr. "In fact, it's quite my pleasure. Should we maybe put on one of my CDs right now? Anyway, yeah, I retired fifteen years ago, so that I could spend more time with my family?"

"Why don't we put on the CD that has the song Harmony on it?" suggested Mike. "It's a rather beautiful song, and it has a really prolific message to it. I have the tape from when your other self recorded that song, when we switched places with each other. Tracy thinks that I wrote and recorded that song, though."

"I still remember the day that I was inspired to write that song," commented Marty Sr. "One day, I was watching the news on TV - and there was this tragic news about a little girl who was treated so horribly by her very own mother, so she had to be placed in foster care. I remember crying my eyes out, because my heart really went out to her."

"Your other self explained all of that to me," replied Mike. "I even felt compelled to pay this girl a visit, and I remember holding her tightly and crying. She kept telling me not to cry, and that everything was all right now. She was so sweet, which just made me cry all the more. It's sad how her mother mistreated her."

"It's hearing stories like that that makes me feel very sick!" added Harmony. "I am happy that we have tougher laws to crack down on parents who abuse their children. That is so not acceptable. Children are very precious."

"That is so true," added Marty Jr. "I've always considered myself to be very fortunate to have two loving parents."

"Being a father myself," Mike said, sighing, "I find myself to be very protective of my little Sam. I really cannot bear the thought of anyone hurting him. I sometimes am ver concerned about what might happen, when he is old enough to attend school. I mean, I still remember being bullied in school - just because of my height. It is really sad to think about just how cruel some children can be."

"Being a small one myself," Marty Jr replied, "I know what it is like to be picked on for your height. Griff Tannen use to bully me, when I was a little boy. I did find a way to get him to leave me alone, though. I have a hard time believing that there was a version of me in another timeline who let Griff push me around."

"It was even Marty," Harmony added, "who got Griff to finally stop harassing me. Griff's cousin, Bill, is very much the polar opposite of him. Biff is a very kind person, and he is proof that not all Tannens are bad."

"I used to be so guilty of make broad generalizations against the Tannens," Marty Sr said, blushing, "and it was so amazing to meet Jill Tannen in 1925, who also happened to be Jennifer's grandmother. I still remember how I felt so shocked to discover that Jennifer had some Tannens in her ancestry. I really wonder what it is, though, that causes so many of the Tannens to be disagreeable folks. Of course, Buford was the worst."

"I wonder what the Bobs would think of this," Mike said, smiling. "Anyway, it sure is nice to know that some of the Tannens can be nice people. So how if Biff doing, by the way."

"He died three years ago," Marty Sr explained, "from heart failure. I was rather sad to see him go, because he sure didn't have a very easy life. I guess growing older has caused me to see Biff in a more sympathetic light. I really would like to see Griff stop being a bully, and actually make something of his life."

"It's hard to say," Mike said, nodding. "So people grow up, and other people do not. I sometimes wonder how some of kids who went to my school ended up turning out. I especially do wonder that of the bullies and snobs, you know."

"Well, anyway," Marty Sr said, sighing, "why don't we go put a CD on? I'll head to the grocery store and grab some of the ingredients that you need for your coffee cake. How does that sound?"

"That sounds so wonderful, Marty," Mike gushed, as he gave Marty Sr a hug.

"Could we help you make the coffee cake, Mike?" Harmony asked, as she and Marty Jr joined Mike in the kitchen.

"Oh, no!" Mike replied, laughing. "I'm going to make the cake myself. This is my mother's recipe, and I really want the cake to turn out to be just right. So, Harmony, are you a musician, too?"

"I don't play an instrument," replied Harmony, "but I do sing. I've performed the vocals for a few songs in Marty's band, Machinehead. Before you ask, yes, I did sing harmony with Marty a few times. Machinehead has a few minor hits across the country, but they haven't really reached super-stardom yet."

"As much as I would love to become a rock and roll superstar someday," added Marty Jr, "that is not such a big goal with me. I'm really in it for the music, and not the fame. I never really had that much respect for the pop tarts - like Britney Spears and Hilary Duff. They are too much style and not enough substance."

"I really have no idea who Britney Spears or Hilary Duff is," Mike replied, "but I understand what you mean. I know there are people who don't have much talent, but they desire to be famous. I never really was the type of person to be judgemental of others, but it can get rather frustrating how the pop music industry works."

"Well, not all pop music is bad," Harmony said, smiling. "I really like a lot of the pop music that came out in the '70s and the '80s. In the '70s, there are singers like Al Stewart and Rupert Holmes. Then, in the '80s, I really do enjoy singers like Lionel Ritchie and Christopher Cross. Pop in the '90s started to go downhill, though."

"I can't say that I was ever too much into pop music," commented Mike. "I greatly enjoy rock and roll music - and I also like some of the pre-rock styles. Styles like swing, blues, and jazz. I even like classical music, sometimes."

"I have to be in the right mood for classical music," replied Marty Jr. "Back when I was in high school, I listened almost exclusively to rock music - but, after I took a few music courses in college, I have come to gain more of an appreciation for the older styles of music. Some of those classical music snobs can be a real turn-off, though."

"I always have been very passionate about music," Mike commented. "and I was, perhaps, one of the very few children who was really knowledgeable about the music scene. My friends did like music, too - but they were more just casual listeners who knew what their favourite songs were. They were not very knowlegeable about bands like Cream, Vanilla Fudge, The Doors, The Who, or even The Beatles. They just know what songs they enjoyed."

"Well, I've always been somewhere in the middle," commented Marty Jr. "When you have an ear for music, you often do take music a lot more seriously than the casual music listener would. Still, I wasn't ever really one to take music so seriously - that I would deny myself the pleasure of listening to feel-good music that maybe is not as musically advances as, say, progressive rock. Like, I do admit that I prefer '80s-era Yes to the earlier era of Yes."

"I really like Led Zeppelin a lot," added Harmony, "but I don't connect too well with other Led Zeppelin fans. Some would find it strange, for instance, that I like Led Zeppelin - but that I'm not too crazy about Pink Floyd. To me, though, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd really don't sound all too much alike. I prefer Led Zeppelin, because they have a lot of songs that have a hard rock edge to it - while a lot of Pink Floyd songs tend to bore me."

"Well, I understand what you're saying," Mike said, gently. "I understand that it takes an aquired taste to be able to really appreciate progressive rock, so I understand that some people may shy away from that style. I enjoy songs with a catchy beat, too - so I wouldn't say that I take music too seriously myself. I believe that it's possible to be real passionate about music, without being a music snob. I understand that music snobs can place a little damper on one's enjoyment of music, especially if they do treat people who enjoy bands that they despise as intellectually inferior to them. That I really do not believe is right."

"So what do you think of Led Zeppelin?" asked Harmony. "I do have to be in the right mood to appreciate the blusier sogs that they performed. My favourites are songs like Black Dog, Out On The Tiles, Custard Pie, Nobody's Fault But Mine, and What Is and What Should Never Be."

"Oh, I love Led Zeppelin!" gushed Mike. "They do have all kinds of styles, don't they? I would say that my personal favourite is Whole Lotta Love. I do like Stairway to Heaven, but I think that song is a little bit overrated. Since I've Been Loving You is another song that I'm real fond of. I gather that you find that song to be too bluesy?"

"Well, yeah," Harmony said, blushing. "I have to be in the right mood for the song. I really enjoy The Rain Song, a lot. Marty and I even plan to have that song played at our wedding. That song sometimes makes me cry."

"It is a very beautiful song," agreed Mike. "One song that really moves me, though, is Over the Hills and Far Away. I still remember how I cried, when I first heard that song. I have no idea what it is about that song, but it often does move me. I'll usually cry, if I haven't heard that song in awhile."

"Gee, you're just like Marty," Harmony said, laughing. "Then again, you did play him - so... It was really The Rain Song that often moves me. I personally find Over the Hills to be a very cheerful and feel-good type of song."

"Oh, yeah, that song sometimes makes me happy, too," replied Mike. "I don't really cry to the song because it makes me feel sad. It's more because it's a song that really touches my inner world that it tends to move me. All My Love is a song that sometimes makes me feel sad - because Robert Plant wrote that song for his son, Karac, who died when he was still a little boy. Being a father myself, I can really imagine how it must feel to lose your precious child at such a young age - and to know that you will never see him grow up. I get so sad even just thinking about it."

"Yeah, it was such a tragedy for poor Robert," Marty Jr said, sighing. "I know Eric Clapter lived through a similar tragedy, but I have to admit that I'm not as fond of Tears in Heaven. I guess I just don't care for the melody."

"Oh, gee, when does that happen?" gasped Mike, stunned. "Wait! Don't tell me! That might create a paradox. I gather this happened sometime after 1990, though. Gee, I really do want to warn Eric about this - but he probably wouldn't believe me, anyway. I always was very fond of children, and I find the idea of them dying at such a young age to be so heartbreaking. I mean, I just, uh..." Mike began to cry silently, as he turned his head away.

"Mike?" Harmony asked, concerned. "Are you feeling all right?" Harmony then turned Mike's head towards her, and she saw that he was crying. Harmony then threw her arms around Mike, as Mike wept on her shoulder. Tears began to sting Harmony's own eyes, as she began to rub Mike's back.

"I apologize, Mike," Marty Jr said, softly. "I didn't to make you so upset. We should find a more cheerful topic to discuss. Why don't we maybe talk about songs that make us happy."

"Look, I'm sorry," Mike said, as he lifted up his head. "I didn't mean to break down on you like this."

"Hey, Mike, you don't have to apologize," Harmony protested, as he dabbed at a tear on Mike's cheek. "I mean, it is understandable how you would feel. Are you sure you don't need help making the coffee cake?"

"I'm sure," Mike replied, sniffing a little. "It's very nice of you to offer, but there is certain way in which the recipe is supposed to go. Why don't we go listen to a CD by your band, Marty? I really do hope your band becomes an international success someday. I'm sure you take after your father in a lot of ways."

"That is what everyone says," Marty Jr replied. "It appears that rock music is starting to make a comeback. I never could stand rap. I mean, it doesn't even have a melody, for crying out loud!"

"And the lyrical content of many songs leave a lot to be desired," added Harmony. "I sometimes really do wish I was a teenager in the 1980s, like my father was. I sometimes get real disgruntled with my generation."

"You really shouldn't feel that way," Mike said, softly. "Anyway, why don't we do put your CD on - and I'll go work on the coffee cake. You guys will love it! I guarentee it."

Harmony smiled at Mike, as she headed to the living room to put a Machinehead CD on.

"That was great coffee cake, Mike," Harmony said, admiringly. "It's so nice and sweet. You know, I really will miss you, Mike. It's been so great spending the last two days with you. I will always remember you fondly."

"Yeah, Mike," added Melody, "it's been so nice to spend time with you. Well, maybe we'll you again in the future."

"Or in the past," teased Mike. "If you do see me again, though, it will probably be this reality's version on me. I will really miss you guys, too. Although, it would be nice if you guys could visit me sometime. As nice as it is to spend some time in this reality, I wouldn't want to stay here. There is no place like home, you know."

"Yeah, that's very true," Marty Jr said, smiling. "Well, thank you so much for that coffee cake recipe. I really do wonder what your counterpart in this reality will think of it."

"Well, assuming that he has the same personality as me," Mike replied, "I'm rather sure he would have no objections to it, whatsoever. I'm always real gracious about stuff like that, you know."

"You are a very kind person, Mike," Marty Jr commented. "Anyway, I'm quite flattered that you like our band's music a lot. Do you have any idea how much this means to me? I have to admit that it will be hard to accept the fact that I will always be in my father's shadow. I don't resent my father in the least, though."

"Yeah, I'm quite sure that the fact that you'll be following in your father's footsteps will be both a blessing and a curse for you," said Mike. "I mean, there likely will be all these expectation that your band's music exceeds the quality of your father's music. I really do wish you the best of luck, though."

"I even remember the time that he told me he was thinking about quitting music," Harmony explained, "because he was unsure that he would be able to withstand the pressure of knowing that he will always be in his father's shadow. It was his father who encouraged him to just follow his dreams, and that he should not let himself feel so overwhelmed about the pressure. He has a style of his own, and he should only worry about performing his own style."

"Yeah, contrary to popular belief," Marty Jr added, "I'm not just a clone of my father. We do have our differences, and I do have a style that is distinctly different from that of my father. I'm certainly lucky to have inherited my father's musical talent, and I certainly have no intention of wasting that talent."

"Are you just about ready to go back home, Mike?" Doc asked, as he walked into the living room. "I figured out what it was that had caused my temporal locator to malfunction, and I was able to fix that device. I can now send you to your dimension, to the precise time that you came here from. It will even drop you off at the exact location as you were when you ended up being warped in this dimension. Nobody will ever know that you were gone."

"What about the CDs, though?" asked Mike. "I really wanted to bring the CDs from the Martys back home with me. Am I still able to do that? They are both very talented musicians, you know."

"Yes, you will be able to," replied Doc. "You really should put on the same clothes that you were wearing, when you came into this world yesterday. Otherwise, your wife might wonder why you're suddenly wearing new clothes."

"Oh, yeah, right," stammered Mike, as he glanced at the outfit that he was wearing. Because he and Marty Jr was the same size, he was able to borrow some clothes from Marty Jr. The clothes were obviously futuristic, and they really were not the type of clothes that you would expect people to wear in 1990. They would, without a doubt, really make him stick out like a sore thumb.

"Your clothes are in this bag right here," commented Marty Jr, as he lifted up a blue duffle bag. "We really should make sure that you have everything that you came here with, because we send you back home. We do have a way to make sure that end up safely at home, but you really would have no way to get back in our reality."

"Hey, why don't we take a few pictures?" suggested Harmony. "We certainly need a picture of you and Marty, being as you guys are like two peas in a pod. I have a digital camera that can take high quality pictures, and it only takes two minutes to get them developed on the computer. That was, you can bring some pictures back home."

"The only problem is," Mike quipped, "I'll never be able to show them to anybody."

"Now why does that sound very familiar?" Doc asked, laughing. "Yeah, I think we have time to take a few pictures. I have a lot of pictures that I have taken throughout various times, that I can only show to a select few people."

"Okay, Marty and Mike," Harmony called out cheerfully, "why don't you two stand by the scene screen over there? You should each stand on one side of the screen. I think those butterflies and flowers will make a very nice touch."

"I really wish I could take a scene screen back with me," Mike commented, wistfully. "I suppose that could create a paradox, though, right? After all, they haven't been invented yet in our reality."

"Yeah, I wouldn't risk it," replied Harmony. "Now why don't you two smile your famous lopsided smiles? I guess it's now obvious why Marty could imitate the famous Michael J Fox smile very well."

Mike and Marty Jr were both laughing, as they posed in front of the picture. The moment they flashed their lopsided smiles, Harmony took a snapshot of them.

"Good!" Harmony said, admiringly. "Now, why don't we get you two together with Big Marty? It's a shame that Marlene is currently out of town. Then, that way, we could get all four of you together."

Mike was feeling a little giddy, as a few more pictures were being snapped. Mike headed towards the bathroom, where he changed back into the outfit that he was wearing when he first arrived in the BTTF Universe. As much as Mike was excited to return home, he really would miss everyone that he befriended in this world. He would have to find some safe place to keep all the photos and CDs that he got from this world.

"Are you just about ready to go, Mike?" Marty Jr asked, as tears filled his eyes. "I certainly hope you enjoy those CDs that we gave you. I'm sure you'll think of us, everytime you listen to them."

"It will be quite tempting to introduce your music to our universe," Mike said, softly. "Sometimes keeping a secret can be very hard." Turning to Doc, Mike added, "Now I know how you felt after you sent Marty back home in 1955."

"It certainly was not very easy," Doc said, smiling. "It was tough waiting for thirty years, before I could discuss any of that with Marty. At least, I could discuss that with my dogs, though. I mean, it's sure not like they could tell anybody about it."

"Well, maybe the other dogs," Mike said, laughing. "Dogs can make a very good companion. That's for sure!"

"I kind of went through the same situation, after my children were born," added Marty Sr. "It would be rather tough to not be able to discuss any of their previous visits through time with them."

"Yeah, but you at least had Jennifer and I to discuss those experiences with," commented Doc. "I really only had my dog." Then, turning to Mike, he added, "So, are you all packed up, now? Are you ready to head home."

"Yeah, I'm ready now," replied Mike. "This is such a bittersweet feeling, you know? Well, I will be happy to see my little Sam and Tracy again. So, where is that device?"

"Let's head out to the lab," suggested Doc, smiling. "The device is all set up and ready to send you back home."

Mike blinked hard to keep back the tears, as he followed Doc and everyone else out to the lab. He gave everyone one last hug, figuring that he would probably never see these people again.

"Okay, Mike," Doc instructed, "place your thumb on this pad. Then, in precisely thirty seconds, you'll be back home to where you belong. Are you ready?"

"I sure am," Mike replied, as he gave a little smile and placed his thumb onto the pad.

"As soon as I pull the lever down," continued Doc, "this device will generate the temporal displacement field - and in precisely thirty seconds, you will return to the exact location as where you were, when you came here."

"Check, Doc," Mike replied, as he faced everyone and flashed them all a huge smile. After thirty seconds, Mike felt a little pop. Then Michael J Fox had disappeared from Doc's lab.

Epilogue

Real World Universe

Mike was feeling a bit dazed, as he looked around. He saw that he was, once again, back in the park. Mike opened up the little bag that he was holding in his hand. He was stunned - as soon as he saw that he had CDS by The Pinheads, Marty McFly, and Machinehead. There were also the photographs that were taken at the Browns' house, a little before Doc had sent him home. He would never be able to discuss this with anyone, not even Tracy.

Mike sighed to himself, as he realized that his wife would still be at the doctor's appointment. He decided to head straight home, and he would try to take a little nap before Tracy returned home. He had to find a good hiding place for all the souvenirs that he brought back with him. He hated to keep secrets from his wife, but he knew that Tracy was not the kind of person who could accept that he was actually in the universe of a movie trilogy that he starred in. Tracy had a bad case of hypochondria, and she might be very concerned about his mental health.

He couldn't even show Tracy the CDs or photos as proof of his fourth-dimensional experience. She would just explain it away as being fabricated, and Mike would end up being forced to make up a "rational" explanation of where he was able to obtain those items. He loved his wife dearly, though - and he could not exactly fault her for not believing that his situation happened. If Christopher Lloyd, for instance, was the one who ended up being warped into another dimension - and he decided to tell Mike about his experience - Mike probably wouldn't have believed him, either.

Mike decided to walk home. He might stop by the gas station on his way home, and pick up a few Little Debbie snacks for himself. Maybe eating something nice and chocolately would help him feel a bit more oriented. He frowned, as he realized that he needed to cut back on snack foods a bit. If he and Tracy were going to encourage little Sam to eat healthy foods, Mike should be providing a good example for their little son.

It least the sun was shining brightly, and the temperature was nice and warm. He really was feeling a little tired, but he remembered that his wife had special plans for that evening. He really did not want to let his wife down, as spending over the day in a faraway place had made him really appreciate his wife.

oooooooooo

"Hey, Mike," called out a familiar feminine voice, "it's time to get out of bed! Supper is almost ready. I prepared some stuffed shells with garlic bread. I know it's your favourite meal, Mike."

"Oh, please let me sleep in a little longer," mumbled Mike, as he turned over in the bed. He didn't want to get out of bed, as he felt so comfortable. Not even the mention of stuffed shells made him want to get up. He really didn't get all too much sleep, when he was in the Back to the Future Universe in 2030.

"Come on, Mike," Tracy insisted, "we have plans for tonight. Don't you remember? You must get up! I really love you a lot, and I have been looking so forward to making this our special evening. Don't you remember?"

"But, Tracy, I'm so tired," pleaded Mike, as he buried his face into his pillow. "I really don't want to get out of bed. Please understand that I really need to get some sleep. I really am dead tired."

"Hey, Mike," Tracy said, firmly, "we can do this the easy way or the hard way. Now, which way will it be?"

Mike just pulled the covers over his head, hoping that his wife would eventually just give up and go away. Couldn't his wife understand that he was badly in need of sleep? He did not feel up to doing anything. It really was nothing personal against his wife. He just needed to sleep a little longer.

"I guess this means you want to do this the hard way, huh?" Tracy said, smirking. Tracy lifted up the blankets from Mike's feet. She wrapped her left arm around Mike's ankles, while she used her right hand to run her fingers up and down Mike's soles, as Mike immediately burst out into helpless laughter. Mike began to twist around in the bed, and he tried with all of his might to pull his feet away from Tracy. However, his wife was very relentless - as she ran her fingers into the arches of Mike's feet. He buried his face into his pillow, as he tried to take his mind off of the extreme tickling sensation. Tracy was not about to let up, however.

"Oh, Mike, I am having so much fun," taunted Tracy, as she ran her finger along the balls of Mike's feet. "This can stop as soon as you decide to get out of bed. It's your choice, Mike. Either you can decide to get up, or I'll just keep tickling those soles of yours. I really do enjoy the way you laugh, when you're being tickled."

Mike, deciding that trying to resist his wife was useless, began to pull himself over with all his strength - until he was nearly off the bed. It was at that point that Tracy finally relented.

"Okay, Mike," Tracy said, smirking. "You have exactly one minute to get out of bed, or else I will just tickle your tootsies some more. That's not a threat, either - that's a promise!"

"Oh, gee, Tracy," Mike mumbled, as he stretched his arms. "You just can't leave me alone, can you? Well, I guess if you're going to be so persistent - then I really have no choice but to get up, do I? I feel very exhausted, though. Maybe if I eat some stuffed shells, I will feel more awake and alert."

"I'm quite sure you will, my dear," Tracy replied, as she threw her arms around Mike. "I really apologize for being so persistent with you, but I really was hoping to spend time with you tonight. I never did enjoy going to doctor's appointments, and I really was hoping to make this a special evening for us - where it's just you and me. I guess I really was waiting for this all day. You really are a special person, Mike."

After Mike released Tracy from his embrace, he took a good look at his wife. He started to run his finger along the features in Tracy's face, as be began to realize how nice it felt to see his wife again. Her long honey-blonde hair felt real smooth and silky under his fingers, and she had the most gorgeous pair of blue eyes. He then realized how wonderful it felt to see his wife again. Granted, only a few hours ended up passing for Tracy - but it was a little over a day that passed for Mike himself. He regretted that he would never be able to discuss this with anyone.

"Are you okay, Mike?" Tracy asked, with concern. "Why don't we head downstairs and have our supper, before the food starts to get cold? I even decided that we should have our dinner over candlelight."

Mike smiled warmly at Tracy, as they headed downstairs. He really appreciated the effort that his wife went through to make this a very special evening for the two of them. His mind started to drift towards the thought of Marty and Jennifer, as well as Marty Jr and Harmony. He wondered if Alex P Keaton ever got married. As soon as he noticed how nicely the kitchen table was set up, his heart bubbled with love for his wife.
