martymac - November 23, 2006 04:16 PM (GMT)
hey! Im totally new to this site, but i am a massive fan of BTTF!!!! It is my fave movie of all time, and my dream wish is to see THE Delorean! Only problem is, I live in the UK. Does anyone know where i could find the Delorean, if its visiting any transport museums or anything?
I found out that there is a convention in Las Vagas, but that might cost a we bit to travel to, cant really afford to do that, would love to, but some things just cant be done.

:( Please help!!!!! It would be the highlight of my life!!!!

There were many cars used to make the trilogy - about seven in total.

There is a car which was used to promote Part 3 (but didn't actually appear in any of the films) at the "cars of the stars" museum in Keswick. I've seen it, and it's quite cool, but looks a bit of a rush job...

If I were you I'd try to save up and visit Universal Florida where I believe they still have a DeLorean and the Time Train. The Time Train is definately worth going to see. Basically thats what I did, I live in the UK aswell. DeLoreans are so hard to find in the UK you would do better to travel to the states.

If you are quick there is one on ebay uk right now for starting bids of £19,000.
This one is in MINT CONDITION and has only done 6000 miles.
It is located in Kent.
use this url:
DeLorean eBay

Tell you what if I had £19,000 that car would be mine

I've recently decided to save up and buy one as my next car. I looked on DeLorean.com and found some really good examples for around £20,000. So, with my £400 a week job I should only have to save for about 3 years I think.
