Description: How did you spend the scary night?

Since pictures tell a thousand words, I won't bore you with typing - - -
Here's My pumpkin-

Here's Purplewears-

I look forward to seeing your photos and stories, when I get home :)
I'll be flying across America today, so if a shadow from the sky throws itself over you, give a wave.
Bye everyone :88:

Oooooh, excellent Shandy! I have no pictures, as I'm not huge into Halloween or anything. But good work busting that ghost! LOL! He looked like a trouble-maker!
Have a safe trip back!

It's a little late for this, and I don't have any pics, but...
I had to work, but luckily we all got to wear costumes, excluding masks. I waited till the last minute, so unfortunately I didn't have a full-on costume, but I at least got some cool accessories (a huge, colored wig that looked scarier than Dee Snider from Twisted Sister, and some glow in the dark skeleton gloves).
We had exactly one group of kids trick or treating, but at least we got to hand out some of the candy we'd each brought it.
When I got home (technically Nov 1st, but if it's dark I count that as the day before. Just as 1990 wasn't truly the '80s but still resembled it), I watched a couple horror movies and the "Thriller" music video, then took a bath in the dark (something I've always liked to do every year for a long time ;) ) before going off to bed finally.

^ A bath in the dark? Oooh! Creepy! No candles?
Shandy- Those pumpkins are brilliant! If only we'd had time to get around to carving that giant Pumpkin the Mr Kath got for us all to do!
"Next Time", eh?

I went over to Ireland on Halloween with our daughter for the week to see Grandma. She (our daughter) wore her witches hat at the terminal and flight witch got a few jovial comments about broom breaking down and having to take the plane instead!
There was a really scary and spooky fog at Grandma's house (in the sparsely populated west of ireland) which reminded me of that film where people get turned inside out.
Sent shivers down my spine, it was very eerie! Sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it now!

^ That a crazy
video game! :docs2:
Nice costume, though, HFD!
Hot_For_Dockie - November 5, 2006 08:24 PM (GMT)
Thanks! The wig was an absolute pain in the ass, though -- hair kept falling into my eyes. I like the Mad Hatter hat I was able to make for Einy, though. :)
Shandy - November 5, 2006 09:47 PM (GMT)
^ Excellent photos! :88:
And great stories everyone! Halloween is such a special time for me because all of my life I had to watch the Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors and dream of being able to experiance halloween, but now I can!
Blind Spot - November 9, 2006 03:35 AM (GMT)
^ Did you ever see the one with Jerry Springer guest starring? That was my favorite - that and the Shining parody. ;)
Great pics, 'Dockie (good costume too. Unless I knew it beforehand, I probably wouldn't have even recognized it as you). :)
BTW, I had the same problem with my wig (being at work, that made it even worse! I actually had to tie some of it in a ponytail, LOL!).

Thanks for all the nice comments, everyone! :happydoc: I'm glad everyone liked (even if I'm sure half of you don't know who she is.) ;)
Madstunts - November 14, 2006 10:17 PM (GMT)
Nice costumes everyone. I didn't get to dress up this year, unfortunately.
I made a kick ass Ghostbusters costume about 5 years ago, and I've worn it every time since, so it was nice to give it a rest! :)
Which Simpsons episode is the one with the time travelling toaster? That's my favourite! "This is indeed a disturbing reality"
