Title: The Backwards Story Game

Aaron - October 17, 2006 01:06 AM (GMT)
Told one sentence at a time, starting with the last sentence and working to the begining of the story. So the next sentence written has to explain how the sentence before it came to be. Let's go!

And with that, the entire universe exploded with a giant bang!

The End

Shandy - October 17, 2006 10:39 AM (GMT)
Eddie Stobart knew what would happen if he went through with it, but as his finger pushed the red button, he knew there was no other way.

Aaron - October 17, 2006 11:51 AM (GMT)
"Eddie, what are you doing?" cried Michelle Tuwilliger with horror. "Don't you know what will happen if you go through with that?"

Shandy - October 17, 2006 12:39 PM (GMT)
Stobart struggled against the shaking of the space craft, he looked at the beautiful Michelle one last soul crushing moment, and then headed for the weapon panel.

Aaron - October 17, 2006 12:43 PM (GMT)
"They've trapped our ship in a tractor beam!" cried Michelle. "We can't let the last reminants of human life fall into their hands, Eddie! What do we do?"

Shandy - October 17, 2006 12:49 PM (GMT)
"It's the Kabilians!" shouted Stobart, surprised to see their huge ship again, he thought they had seen the last of them back at Soultrans III. Just then a huge blazing white light shone through the view screen and started rocking the ship.

(a bit longer then a sentence, sorry)

Aaron - October 17, 2006 12:55 PM (GMT)
^ (whatever it takes to complete the thought - you'll notice I've been doing more than one sentence myself - just no chapters or anything! )

"There's a ship on radar," said Michelle, rushing up to the control panel. "What in the world could be out in the middle of a black hole with us? No ship could survive the crushing gravity, unless --"

Shandy - October 17, 2006 01:00 PM (GMT)
Stobart and Michelle leaned in close for a kiss, like two magnets finally realizing they were magnetic. But before they could escape into each others lips, BEEP BEEP BEEP, the radar alarm went off.

Aaron - October 17, 2006 01:04 PM (GMT)
"Remember when you said you wouldn't be with me even if we were the last two humans alive?" asked Stobart, taking Michelle in his arms. "Well, I guess now we can find out, can't we?"

Shandy - October 17, 2006 01:10 PM (GMT)
The two person crew of the space ship 'Catapult 5' enterted the black hole, leaving whatever remained of the human race skattered in a trillion peices behind.
Michelle stood from the controls, "Got anymore of those corny love lines? I think I could use one after all that horror, Eddie."

Aaron - October 17, 2006 01:15 PM (GMT)
The wave of pulsating energy exploded across space.
"Warp speed, Michelle, now!" cried Stobart. "Make for that black hole, or else we'll be incinerated by the energy blast with the rest of human existence!"
Michelle acted instantly, activiating the warp drive as the blast of destructive energy came toward them.

Shandy - October 17, 2006 01:36 PM (GMT)
Taking one last look at the evil space vampires, Stobart closed the spaceship hatch behind him and Michelle. The two rushed to the bridge and planned their escape. Michelle gasped at the controls, "They've set the space station to self destruct, I guess they really don't want us to leave!"
Stobart's eyes became huge, "That would destroy the earth! Get us out of here!"
Michelle put pedal to the metal as they flew off into the cozmos away from the destruction of the space station.

Aaron - October 17, 2006 01:42 PM (GMT)
"Those are what conquered the earth and enslaved mankind?" cried Michelle aghast. "Space vampires???"
The vampire monsters surrounded them all about, flapping their great wings and showing the venomous fangs.
"What do we do?" asked Michelle.
Stobart paused. Then, he suddenly remembered. "The garlic bombs Jaruchachi gave me! He said we'd need them!"
He took them from his pouch and tossed the garlic bombs at the vampires. They fell to the ground in convulsions, and Stobart grabbed Michelle's hand and dragged her toward the first door he could find.

Shandy - October 17, 2006 08:51 PM (GMT)
The two heros ran for all they were worth, down the corridor. They peeked around the corner, setting their sights on several of . . . Them!
Stobart knew all too well who the creatures were, "Space Vampires."

Aaron - October 17, 2006 11:46 PM (GMT)
"So we're not on some extra-terrestrial planet after all!" said Michelle as they hurried forward. "This space station was built on earth by these creatures!"
"Yes," nodded Stobart. "And they've enslaved all of mankind."
"What do we do?"
"Now that Jaruchachi is dead, I don't know," sighed Stobart. "We can't take these creatures, whatever they are, down by ourselves. Not with the Kabilians still hot on our tail!"
"Then let's get back to the Catapult 5 and get the hell out of here," suggested Michelle. "We can figure out how to save earth after we've saved ourselves."
"Good idea," nodded Stobart. "Let's get to the hangar where we left the ship and hope that these aliens haven't spotted us yet!"

(LOL! So much more than one sentence!)

Shandy - October 18, 2006 01:20 PM (GMT)
Eddie Stobart stood at his crashed, empty escape pod, he knew Michelle was supposed to be right behind him in the Catapult 5. He wasn't sure but it felt like more then 10 minutes had ticked by, and still no sign of Michelle or her ship.
. He looked around at the sleek, clean metallic room he had found himself in. These surroundings were telling him he had landed on a space station rather then another planet as hoped. The room and the giant window to space told him that.
Then suddenly the floor rocked and a shoot in the ceiling opened and down came crashing the vacuum tube of the Catapult 5.
Stobart picked himself off the floor and hurried over to the cylinder, and then down slid Michelle, as cute as the day they had met.
"How did you end up on this space station?" she asked.
. "Tell me about it, we didn't make it to quite where we were hoping. Looks like the gravitaional pull of this station brought my pod here."
He helps Michelle out of the glass pipe, "wherever here is."
They both get a glimpse of "where here is" when they spot a framed portrait hanging on the grey wall.
It is a painting of a bat-like monster, building a space station on the remains of the Earth.
Stobart turned to Michelle, "Looks like Jaruchachi wasn't kidding about the fate of our home."

Aaron - October 18, 2006 01:54 PM (GMT)
"I'm setting the coordinates for earth," said Stobart into his communication radio. "You behind me, Michelle? We'll need the Catapult 5. It's weapon system is the only thing powerful enough to stop the Kabilians!"
"Got you on my tracker," replied Michelle. "I'll follow you in. I just hope we're not too late."
"Before he died Jaruchachi told us about something happening on earth," recalled Stobart. "I wish he would have told us what, though!"
"Just bring the escape pod into earth's orbit before the Kabilians pick us up on radar again," ordered Michelle.
Stobart set the cooridinates and zoomed toward earth. Suddenly his ship began to rock, and he felt it being pulled toward some strange object floating in earth's orbit.
"A space station? In earth's gravity?" Stobart was aghast. "Who could have built this?"
He didn't have time to gather a response as his ship was pulled into the space station's bunker. His ship was moving at an incredible speed, and he knew his only chance for survival was to eject. He did so just as the ship entered the space station and rolled to the ground as his ship crashed. Thank goodness the gravitational fields of the Catapult 5 would prevent Michelle's ship from crashing too!

Shandy - October 18, 2006 02:46 PM (GMT)
"There's a Kabilian down here!!" Screamed Stobart into his communicator.
The plated gold wearing, Alien stinking, soldier marched slowly towards him.
"He must be a left over from the first attack," replied the voice of Michelle.
"Well I can't microwave him, what should I do?" yelled the scared Stobart.
"Use those fighting techniques you told me so much about," Michelle suggested from the bridge.
After a few punches that had no effect on the 7 foot tall Kabilian, Stobart was backed into a corner.
Fortunately the corner was an escape pod, he hit the ejection button and Stobart, in the pod, was blasted off into space.
The Kabilian was also blasted into space, but the pretty gold armour couldn't protect him from the wonders of air-less space.

Aaron - October 18, 2006 03:09 PM (GMT)
"He's dead!" said Stobart, heartbroken. "They killed Jaruchachi!"
"Can't think about that now," said Michelle, her commander-instincts kicking in. "That blast caused the ship's thruster to malfunction! We won't be able to get back to earth and keep off of the Kabilians radar without activating the backups in the ship's bunker!"
Stobart quickly wiped his eyes. "Right, I'll get them up."
Stobart hurried to the bunker and found the control for the backup thrusters. He quickly activated them when the familiar snarling of a viscious beast caught his ears.

Shandy - October 18, 2006 07:48 PM (GMT)
"He should be here by now," Michelle said worried.
"It's not like Jaruchachi to be late. Believe me, we can trust him. He's been my best friend for months," assured Stobart.
The two astronauts glared out of the view screen, hoping to see some faint sign of the man who had saved both of their lives 3 times in as many days.
Then, from out of nowhere, a tiny pixel appeared on screen, it grew larger and larger as it rocketed towards the Catapult 5.
"What is that?" Stobart wondered.
Michelle types on the controls, zooming in on the UFO until it is quite clear it is a coffin.
They both gasp, because this coffin is made of glass, and lying dead inside is all that was left of Jaruchachi.
"Oh Eddie." Michelle cries as they hug over the murder of their friend. They both knew who did it, and it wasn't the butler!
While they were hugging they forgot about the coffin that continued towards their ship, and it crashed into the side of the Catapult 5, shaking our heros off balance.

Aaron - October 18, 2006 10:39 PM (GMT)
"That's the last of them," said Stobart, dropping his lazer to the ship's floor. "Quick thinking there, Michelle. Those Kabilians would've killed us if you hadn't thought of that!"
"Thanks," replied Michelle modestly. "Now what? To earth?"
"Not without him," answered Stobart.
"But the Kabilians' ship is right on our --"
"No. We have to wait for him."

Shandy - October 19, 2006 02:10 PM (GMT)
"They've followed us!" Cried Michelle, gasping at being surrounded by the monstrous soldiers. "Never thought I'd see the day that Kabilians would be on my ship."
"YOU WILL BE DESTROYED!" Barked the leader of the group.
"Now listen handsome . . ." Stobart began to protest before one of the green skins lifted him up into the air by his neck. He tried to reach his lazer in his pocket.
Suddenly Michelle realised just how much the Kabilians look like insects, so she rushed to the control panel on the wall and activated the fumigation spray that she had installed at the very start of this crazy adventure.
Mist clouded down from the Catapult 5 ceiling and the intruders yelled in pain as their very insides turned to dust.
Stobart fell to the ground having lost the alien tripod that was keeping him up. He stood and dusted off the . . . well, dust.

Aaron - October 19, 2006 02:19 PM (GMT)
"What happened to the lights?" wondered Stobart aloud. "I can't see your pretty face at all!"
"Not sure," said Michelle, ignoring the compliment. "Let me see if I can't get them back up."
"Think it's the Kabilians?" wondered Stobart.
"Not unless they figured out a way to disrupt our tracking radar," she replied. "Not likely. Jaruchachi built it himself!"
"I hope we did the right thing in leaving him on the Kabilians' ship," sighed Stobart, placing his hand on Michelle's. "You could really use some lotion, Michelle."
"What?"
"Your hand is really dry."
"You're not touching my hand. There, lights are working again ..."
The lights flashed on and Stobart found himself holding hands with a Kabilian soldier.
He grinned sheepishly. "Sorry. Don't kiss on the first date!"
"They're coming through the transporter!" exclaimed Michelle pointed at the transporting unit.
A whole army of Kabilian soldiers were appearing and marching toward them.
"They must have hacked into our system somehow!" exclaimed Stobart.

Shandy - October 19, 2006 02:56 PM (GMT)
Michelle and Stobart appeared back on the Catapult 5, they stepped out of the transporting unit, a bit sad they had to leave their friend.
"I can't believe Jaruchachi believes he can hammer out a peace deal with those freaks," Stobart worried.
"I have a feeling everything is going to be ok from now on." assured Michelle right before the lights went off and they appeared in a sea of darkness.

Aaron - October 20, 2006 12:32 PM (GMT)
"All right, you two, that's your cue," said Jaruchachi, pushing them toward the Kabilians' transporting unit.
"We can't leave you!" objected Stobart. "You're the only one who knows how to stop them!"
"This is the only way," he returned. "We can't beat them with force, so we'll have to use wits. Go to earth. I'll be there after we've settled everything. And take these."
"What are they?" Stobart asked, accepting the odd looking bombs.
"You'll need them," replied Jaurchachi.
"Your foresight kicking up again?" asked Michelle.
"Yes. There's danger on earth," he replied. "Be careful! Now go! Earth needs you!"
Stobart hesistated, then seeing Jaruchachi's determined expression, took Michelle's hand and led her away to the transporting unit. They stepped in and set the coordinates for the Catapult 5, and in a wink they vanished.

Shandy - October 20, 2006 01:03 PM (GMT)
"What?" Michelle shockly said.
"I'm sorry but it's the truth," Stobart admitted.
"WE HAVE NO CLOCK FOR YOU HUMAN EMOTIONS!" King of the Kabilians badly translated into human tounge, which was strange because he has eaten enough of them.
"Our emotions make us what we are," strongly protested Michelle.
"YOU FRIEND BILLY JARUCHACHI SEEMS TO MANAGE TO HAVE NO EMOTIONS."
"You didn't walk in on him and Michelle in the bathroom last night," whispered Stobart.
"WE ONLY DISCUSS SECRET PEACE DEAL WITH BILLY JARUCHACHI." Firmly stood the King.

Aaron - October 20, 2006 01:41 PM (GMT)
"Why are you acting this way?" Michelle turned to Stobart.
He didn't respond, turning his eyes from her, annoyed.
"WE NO TALK ABOUT HUMANOID BUSINESS! WE TALK OF DESTROYING HUMANOID BEINGS!" demanded the Kabilian King.
"Yes, we'll talk," Jurachachi replied. "Cool it, you two!"
"Stobart!" demanded Michelle.
"I caught you and Jurachachi in the bathroom last night!" burst Stobart suddenly.

Shandy - October 20, 2006 01:52 PM (GMT)
Our three heros were lead into a massive palace room, something that Eddie Stobart remembered seeing in an old Abbott and Costello film about meeting a Mummy in Egypt.
Before Stobart could speculate about the possible infulances of the Kabilian's on ancient Earth, a golden thrown elevated from the floor. In it sat the monterous hideous king of the Kabilians.
"CLOSER COME!" ordered the gold plated creature.
"Whose going to save us now?" asked Stobart, looking up at the huge king.
"Billy Jurachachi, he's standing right in front of us!" Michelle pointed, filled with puppy dog love.
"Why don't you just marry Billy Jurachachi?" Stobart bit his tounge a second too late.

Aaron - October 20, 2006 02:02 PM (GMT)
"Ah, claptrap, we're cornered!" mumbled Stobart. "Now what? Should we fight it out?"
"Don't be stupid," snapped Jurachachi. "They'd tear us to shreds. Our only chance is to solve this diplomatically."
"Isn't he a dream?" wondered Michelle to herself.
Stobart glanced at her crossly.
"We'd like to apply the Bension Convention and have a civil discussion with your leader," said Jurachachi to one of the Kabilian guards.
"AH! ME HATE STUPID BENSION CONVENTION!" said the guard crossly. "FOLLOW ME, PLEASE!"
"Let's go then," suggested Jurachachi, following after the guard.
Michelle hurried after him, like a little puppy following its master. Stobart sulkily took up the rear.

Shandy - October 20, 2006 02:10 PM (GMT)
As Stobart and Jurachachi worked hard to activate the lazer beam, Michelle watched the door.
Unfortunately for all involved, her eyes were instead magnitized to Jurachachi.
"Billy, you have great muscles." blinking her eye lids.
Stobart rolled his eyes.
Then a dozen Kabilian guards stormed in and surrounded them with weapons pointing all over their bodies.
Stobart rolled his eyes again.

Aaron - October 20, 2006 02:21 PM (GMT)
"We have to work fast before they discover us," said Jurachachi. "If we can can reverse their main laser cannon, we can cause the ship to implode and take out the Kabilians for good!"
"Can you do that?" wondered Stobart.
"Of course he can!" replied Michelle. "Billy Jurachachi can do anything!"
"Well, isn't Billy just the cock of the walk?" muttered Stobart.
"There's the laser!" excalimed Jurachachi, rushing up to the huge cannon. "Michelle, you watch the doors. Stobart, give me a hand!"
"Why would the great Billy Jurachachi need my help?"
"Hold this flashllight for me," Jurachachi said, as he began to fiddle with the cannon.
"Don't I feel special?" muttered Stobart, shining the light on the cannon.

Shandy - October 20, 2006 02:35 PM (GMT)
And with that the Catapult 5's small life boat/shuttle little craft crashed into the Kabilians airlock.
Jurachachi, Michelle and Stobart climbed out of the smoking wreck and walked to the safety of the corridor where they closed the metal doors and took off their space helmets.
"Good thing we were wearing helmets," Michelle said, "Geat thinking Billy," she couldn't help but add.
"Yeah, thanks Jurachachi, even though it was MY IDEA!" Contested Stobart.
"I think we all know I was the one who suggested helmets, Eddie." replied Jurachachi.
"I guess we will never know now." admitted Michelle.
The three "friends" moved down the corridor.
"There's the Lazer canon room," pointed Jurachachi.
"How do you know?" asked Stobart.
"I can read Kabilianese," he smiled, causing Michelle to smile, causing Stobart to taste vomit.
They enter the room, Stobart is last in with his fingers crossed hoping it wasn't the canon room but rather something close but more amuzing, like the crayon room, to make Jurachachi look like an idiot.

Aaron - October 20, 2006 02:44 PM (GMT)
"Thank God we lost them!" said Stobart with exasperation.
"Look, there's Soultrans III!" excalimed Jurachachi. "And there's the Kabilian's fortress."
"You were right about the Kabilians' base being on Soultrans after all," sighed Stobart.
"Of course he was!" chimed Michelle.
"Should we land?" asked Stobart crossly.
"They'll notice if our ship lands on their planet, even if their radar can't read us," objected Jurachachi. "Let's take a pod and dock with the fortress' air ship entrance. They won't even know we've entered their planet!"
"Brillian idea!" smiled Michelle.
"And then what, braniac?" demanded Stobart as they climbed inside the pod.
"Then we take them down," answered Jurachahci boldly.
Michelle whimpered like a love-sick puppy and the pod shot out of the Catapult 5.

Shandy - October 20, 2006 05:53 PM (GMT)
The Kabilian warships fired after the Catapult 5. Michelle maneuvered her ship away from the screaming torpedos.
Nobody knew why they were designed to scream, perhaps they were scared of smashing into the Catapult 5 and being destroyed. But they didn't have to worry their metal heads because Michelle was dodging them left right and centre.
"Good flying Michelle," congratulated Jurachachi.
"Good congratulating Jurachachi," Stobart said as he struggled to get the weapon system back online.
"I need to go to the bathroom," announced Jurachachi.
"Michelle's a little busy right now," reminded Stobart.
"As opposed to you." snapped Jurachachi with a smile.
"FYI, the weapons are back online!" grinned Stobart.
"We don't need them anymore, I got us far away from the torpedos and the warships." assured a relieved Michelle.

Aaron - October 20, 2006 06:44 PM (GMT)
"Where'd those warships come from?" cried Stobart with shock.
"They can't have evaded our radar," returned Jurachachi. "It has to be the Kabilians! Only they have teleporting ships!"
"What about the weapon system" asked Stobart.
"Don't be daft!" returned Jurachachi. "Activate that without the proper sealing cover and it'll blow up the universe!"
"So what do we do?"
"We let our ace pilot get us out of this," said Jurachahci, smiling at Michelle.
She grinned back.
"Can you lose them?" wonder Stobart.
"Piece of cake," answered Michelle.
She looked out the windshield at the advancing ships and swallowed hard. "I hope."
"You can do it," encouraged Jurachachi. "I believe in you."
"Yeah, me too," added Stobart quickly.
"Okay, buckle up! Here goes!"

Shandy - October 20, 2006 06:49 PM (GMT)
And with that the catapult 5 zoomed out of the time vortex, arriving back in Michelle and Stobart's own century.
Jurachachi was born in the last century. But that is what happens when the year 2125.
"I never want to go that far back in time again!" complained Stobart.
"Don't worry, I don't think you will have the chance, look what just appeared in front of us."
The three look out the viewscreen and see a dozen alien warships!!

Aaron - October 20, 2006 07:22 PM (GMT)
"Look, the time vortex!" cried Michelle, pointing to the sky.
"It our only chance to get out of here!" cried Jurachachi. "Hurry! Into the Catapult!"
"Finally, we can ditch these clothes," sighed Stobart, tossing the red life preserver aside.
"These flower pants are rather tacky," acknowledge Michelle as they hurriend into the ship.
"Hope we didn't alter history much," said Jurachachi. "The consequences could be disasterous."
"Let's just get out of 1985 and back to good old 2125, Billy boy," suggested Stobart.
"We're off!" announced Michelle as the Catapult 5 launched toward the closing time vortex.

Shandy - October 22, 2006 09:58 PM (GMT)
The air was full of fear in the small town outside of Quebec.
Jurachachi aimed his lazer gun at the towns people. Well they couldn't call them people anymore. Zombies would be a more accurate term.
"I think I can take them all out!" Shouted Jurachachi, trying to replace fear with anger.
"Billy, don't be a hero, don't be a fool with your life!" warned Michelle.
"Let him go," smiled Stobart.
With the blaze of the town zombies torches, Jurachachi knew when he was beat, "Michelle's right with her lyric, let's get out of here!"
They hurry out of La Morte Rouge, heading back to their ship as the darkness before the dawn rolls on.

Shandy - October 26, 2006 04:06 PM (GMT)
"You're right, it can't be her! She's dead!" cried Michelle.
The recently deceased woman was then joined by an army of zombies, crawling their way out of the graves that were once their final resting place, but are now just up-turned earth.

Frasier Crane - November 17, 2006 09:48 PM (GMT)
As "The Power of Love" played from the shop's speakers, a vision appeared in front of them. Eddie took a closer look.
"Oh my goodness, it's Flora!"
"What?" Michelle asked him.
"It can't be!" Eddie muttered as Michelle saw the vision of 'Flora'. She gasped!
