Ichidan and friends heading to The Lagoon on Thursday before the convention for Frightmares theme for the theme park. Assuming we get enough people all at once they have group discounts I see.

Lagoon is about 10 minutes away from my house, so it would be easier for me to make it.... I can also probably get some of my friends from school to come, too.

But, gosh, talking about doing something right before the con just made me realize how little time I have left to finish both my cosplays. T_T

2. No money... No car...
3. It's an hour away from where I live.

I wish I could but it is hard to say what I will be doing that far in the school year. (homework or not I am going to banzai) It is my senior year so who knows what my teachers and going to pull on me. I really want to so to lagoon, I havn't ridden wicked yet and I want to so bad. (coaster fanatic yup thats me)

Lagoon is closed the day before, so... lets go the day after!

The day after might actually be just a little better, because that way no one will have to worry a ton about missing school/not having time to do homework.

Ah, but we should probably still meet in the afternoon, 'cause some of us might be wiped out from the Con. (I know I will be)

Well.. it is in.. October.. Lagoon didn't even used to be open in October.. but for the miracle of Frightmares it still wouldn't be. ;)
They do start shutting some of the rides down as the month progresses, however.. One year I went and the Samurai was all taken down, along with Cliffhanger.. though.. who would want to get soaking wet in October... O.o
Anyway, yeah, it doesn't open til 11am, but I think it closes kinda early as well.. I don't know if there's any info up for Frightmares this early in the season...

The other option would be to have 2 days set aside.. Weds and Sunday? If you're helping out at the con I hope you're planning on helping us take stuff down Sunday morning! That would rock! ;)

Well, I went around that time last year and the Samurai was still up, but all the water rides were shut down. Also, Lagoon closes at 8pm due to the fact that most of the employees are high school students. That's also why it is not open during the weekday.

*giggle* I doubt she thinks your three buddy, really doubt it...But hey...Probably the only way I'm going to be able to come will be if Salem goes...Other wise, my mum will be iffy to convince...

Hey guys, I got a schedule from work and it says Lagoon will be open on Thursday, October 16. This is the only Thursday Lagoon is open during Frightmares.
Most public schools should start their fall recess on this day, so going out on a school night shouldn't be a problem for some.

(The schedule is here on the website, too, just skip ahead to October.)

The Samurai was usually shut down a lot of the time, but we recently got new parts from Europe for it not too long ago, so I think it should be good for a while. The Screamer is still not repaired yet, though.
The Cliffhanger has been working recently, but every few hours it's shut down for maintenance. It's usually back up in half an hour or so most of the time.


Lagoon actually closes at 11PM during Frightmares (except on Sundays, which will be 8PM) and is only open during the weekends.

We have morning/night shifts like every other job, but those 16 and older get off at 11PM if they are night shift.
(I'm 15, so I can't work nights and get off earlier.)
I'm also changing departments to work as an actor during Frightmares, so our hours are the same as the adults because child actors are treated as regular actors in this case.

Lagoon's FRIGHTMARES! hours are:
6PM-11PM on Fridays
11AM-11PM on Saturdays
11AM-8 Sundays
11AM-11PM on the one Thursday I mentioned
Of course, Lagoon is closed during the weekdays on September and October.
The September schedule is slightly different.
