I will be bringing my 7.1 megapixel camera for photos (tips appreciated). There is LOTS of picnic space, and it's a short walk down into the Gully. The Gully is a very pretty area, protected by the Forest Service, so there is LOTS of opportunity for environmental cosplay pictures.

Sounds great. I'll try and remember to look if I can get the day off (or at least lunch off.) I'll bring my camera. Nothing great, just my Sony but that is what I did the Bridal Veil Falls pictures with and it has great color to it.

Aww, I wish we could do it on the 28th. I'll be in Japan on the 14th. :(

This sounds really fun. Question where is lone peak park? I would really like to come, I will have to see my sister's baby is due on the 29th, if she is in labor I really don't think that I can come, otherwise I would love too.

Sadly I don't see me being able to take any weekends off this summer. Everyone else at my work wants them off and that is the only time I'm getting hours. Sorry, I need to pay for life (and my cosplay).

Well... I went on a fricken' hike on one of the trails on the north side of the park yesterday, and let me tell you, I pulled a freakin' muscle!!! >o<

Anyway, on the easy path with the wood chippings I saw a beautiful red wood bridge!! It was so pretty! And there's lots of nature shots down there, too. I didn't take pictures of them, seeing as I was trying to keep up with my class, but you get it.

Awww . . . I can't come.

I have a family reunion up in Idaho and we're celebrating my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary.

I should cosplay to that instead . . . weird out the fam a little.

The area is really gorgeous, and the lighting is easy to get right.

unless we get a storm in the next few days (Which looks very unlikely) It should be in the mid-to-upper 90s. I'll have an updated forecast from KSL on Sunday, and I'll post it here.

Ya, I'm worried about the temp, too. I'm going in my FMA-Movie!Al cosplay, and that has a black, long sleeved top with black pants AND the red jacket that goes on top. But no matter the weather, I WILL WEAR IT ANYWAY!!!! I AM disapointed that I won't be wearing my Axel cosplay. I still need to get the wig and coat done... But hey, if it's going to be hot, I'd rather wear my Al cosplay anyway!

Aww, sad. Aw, well, I'm just glad I'm going to be wearing white. xDDD I'll also bring sunscreen and my parasol, so if anyone wants to share with me, they're happy to. They have to cuddle, though. >> I'm not giving up my parasol. I burn too easily and I'm going to be sleeve-less.

Oh! I want to have motherly pictures with L, please!! n_n It's my one-time dream!
