Here you will find a list of characters that are available to play for the next couple months. The names with an '»' beside it means that it's been claimed and is no longer available. Most of the characters listed are "main" characters to the game, meaning they are necessary to carry the plot along, however there will also be a few "static" characters here for you to choose from. You may play a static character if you do not have time to post regularly.
If there isn't anything here that you find inspires or appeals to you and you still would be interested in participating in the game, please contact an admin (either Elyse or Arwen) and we'll be happy to try negotiating something with you. :) Creating a character yourself is acceptable, but be aware that your created character will automatically be static. You must also run everything by an admin before RPing the character in the forums.
This is just a listing, the descriptions can be found in the "Plot One: Never Cry Wolf" thread. ALSO NOTE: the characters are not assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis.

*'s are for those applying with characters they have made themselves. If you are applying with a pre-made character, omit the * questions completely. But please, before jumping to make a character of your own, seriously review the main characters of the game. For the plot to be properly played and completed, we need all of the main characters filled! Thank you!
For those of you wondering how staff applications for characters will be handled here you go:
· Staff will have first pick on static characters.
· If a staff member wishes to apply for a main character, they must apply like everyone else.
· At the end of a plot, the staff will select 2-4 people who played the plot especially well to recieve first pick of main characters (or a static if they desire). also, we will involve them if needed in the planning of the next plot.
· If a staff member falls into the above category, they will be able to choose a main character, however, staff members will be 'graded' harsher when it comes to the choosing.
Staff applications for characters will be reviewed in the same way anyone elses' is reviewed. If a staff member is chosen for a role it is not because they automatically get it because they're staff, it is because they fit the role. Please do not think that we are being unfair, we realise this is a delicate issue and will handle it as carefully as possible.
These are the guidelines for claiming another character. We stress that you should not take up a secondary character unless you have enough time; you are not helping the game by making a commitment and then having your activity with both characters fall below the acceptable level.
1. If at any moment in time, another, totally new player wishes to claim your second character, you MUST give your character up, no ifs, ands, or buts.
2. Players may not have two Main characters. Only a Static and a Main, or two Statics.
3. The second character the player wishes to choose may not be in the same required posting threads as their first. If you are unsure if the second character you wish to claim will interfere with the first, please ask one of the Admin or Mods and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
4. In order to apply for a secondary character, please fill out the normal application form, omitting the OOC information. Indicate somewhere in the application that this is indeed your second character.

Example: Hawk eyes veered over the mortal word, slender, yet curved beak pinched in a stern, majestic expression. There was a disturbance, and a grand one at that. He cocked his head, moving slowly, feathers blowing slightly in the breeze. Mortals, so fascinating. So inferior, yet superior when it came to schemes and devious actions. Paki had not been wise on causing such a conflict. He cared little however, whatever the out come may be, but the others, well that was a different story. So it seemed that he was caught in the middle of the raging disturbance, seemingly teetering upon the shoulders of life and death. Eyes narrowed as he pulled himself into deeper thought. Fascinating. He was immortal, an important, and rather lovely sun god. What the hell did it matter if a couple of humans decided they wanted to believe a lying fool? Especially with death? But then, isn't death such a crucial matter in any creation's life? After all, life is sweet and revealing, lovely and mysterious. Yet still, one is able to see its beauty with their own eye. And death? Death was dark and foreboding, rich with the stench of the fallen, yet still, there was light at the end of the tunnel. One could only hope that the other gods would be kind to their freed souls as they deserted their bio temples. He laughed out loud, though it sounded very little like a laugh. Again it lead to one word, fascinating. He peered upwards, thinking still even more deeply. A decision must be made, even though it mattered little. However, he believed that the other gods still had more words to spew out about the matter. He smirked inwardly, until then, his decision would not be made... Why are you interested? I believe that it is a good and interesting challenge for a roleplayer to take up. Also, I have had an interest in the Egyptian gods ever since I've read about them in world history. I'm active and believe that I can play him well.

The FormOOC Account: Harper Name: Harpurrrr Email: fusedeidolon@yahoo.com IM: fused eidolon Age (optional): Fifteen. :D How long you've been roleplaying (optional): 2-3 years. Can't recall exactly. >>; Character you want to roleplay (name): Seth Why do you want to roleplay this character?: Because I find the idea of his personality very intriguing. His interest in the plight of the mortals is unkind, but that is what makes it so very intriguing. Playing a character like this would be both challenging, seeing as emotion would be restricted to the mischevious and heartless. Yet it would also be very fun, because Seth is very... unique in the way he works. :] Samples of Past Roleplaying: Zion... though I don't know if you really need them? [shifty eyes] Two paragraph example with this character: The stupid fool. Seth saw it as it happened, of course, the exclamation that the world was going to come to an end. His first thought was rather sad, that this poor fool was incorrect in his "vision". The lie that poured forth was clearly false, at least in the eyes of the god, and he watched with mock pity as others began to believe, the rumor spread. So the world was coming to an end, was it? Then why wasn't the chaotic god of destruction told? Pouting in an only slightly insincere manner, the immortal glared angrily at the arrogant priest who dared to believe he could make such claims in Seth's name, when the god of chaos knew very well that it wasn't going to happen. What an idiot. Why, if only him making such a prophecy gave the god permission to destroy this worthless lot- There his thoughts abruptly stopped and a grin curled his lips backward, a fierce set of teeth abruptly revealed in a mischevious manner at the foolish priest. It was fortunate for the priest couldn't actually see the jackal-shaped immortal, as he would have been scared half-witless by the look on that mercliess god's face. Though if he had maybe he would have recalled his prophecy and ended his days as a false prophet. Whatever the results might have been, they never happened, because the liar couldn't see his own fate, mirrored there in the eyes of Seth. Doom and destruction were his cup of tea and there was about to be a whole boiling pot of it, if the jackal god had any say in the matter. Abruptly, he disappeared from that plane, now he was staring down at it with vicious intent, cruel eyes turned down at the poor mortals. "If I had a heart, I might pity them. As it is..." A bout of laughter escaped his lips, though they didn't hear. All the more unfortunate for them. Those who didn't believe didn't realize that they were doomed.

OOC Account: Rust Name: Rusty Email: ashenwraith@hotmail.com AIM: irrelevant xx Age: 14 How long you've been roleplaying: four years, three years for paragraph-rp Character you want to roleplay: Kazemde Why do you want to roleplay this character: Arrogance is one of the most fun character traits to roleplay. I love having and roleplaying characters whose view of the world is distorted - arrogance is a great and simple way to accomplish that. Not only the arrogance attracts me, but the simple fact that this snobby little fox is soon to be king, giving him actual importance to base the arrogance on. Plus, foxes are similiar to wolves, so I'm on familiar ground. Samples of Past Roleplaying: Alas, I have none at hand.. But I do have a crappy story I wrote two years ago. o_O. BewareTwo paragraph example with this character: A lazy ear quivered, insulted by the flea's attempts to take some of HIS blood. Didn't the flea know that Kazemde's blood was royal, and therefore exempt from things such as.. fleas! Mukarramma understood that, which was one of the reasons he was so widly in love with the little{an affectionate term, for in truth the priest was at the very least twice the desert fox's size} heron. Ah, if only Mukarramma was here now.. But it was not to dwell on. Soon, his uncle, Abubakar the Pharaoh, would be coming from the Palace-Den, to give this prince yet another briefing on the workings of the kingdom. It was pointless, really, but Kazemde felt enough affection{however faint} to humor his uncle. So in all Abubakar's lessons, Kazemde listened{well, most of the time he just pretended to}. This prince knew how to rule a kingdom - it was unbelievably simple, he had spent the better part of his five years of life by the throne, and knew that the kingdom was perfect, leaving the ruler to do nothing but be pampered. Kazemde stood up, nose quivering as the distinct smell of his aging uncle coming. His tiny eyes, however he squinted them, could not yet see Abubakar, but he knew he was close, now. Bushy snake of a tail swooshed slightly, hanging low, the very tip tickling his belly. Prince he might be, but obesiance to the Pharaoh of this kingdom is always required.

Character you want to roleplay: Kaphiri
Why do you want to roleplay this character?: Frankly, I think he sounds like a charming character. :) His personality seems so cute, and I think I can play him sufficiently. He seems similar to many of my guy friends, and I find him equally endearing. xD The little situation with Monifa and Kaphiri seems adorable, too, and I'd love to RP it. Also, I know quite a bit about camels from research, so I'd be able to play one accurately. ^_^;
Samples of Past Roleplaying (links are preferred):
1) As Quilly
2) As Latch
3) As Latch
4) As Raj Tehrii
Two chocolate brown eyes flew suddenly open, dusty lashes fluttering rapidly in a startled fashion. The loud voices of two passing camels had ripped Kaphiri from his nap, and he wasn't exactly thrilled about having to abandon his dreams so abruptly. The male camel, who often slept while standing up, whirled around, intending to scold the noisy pair for disturbing him. His fierce expression soon vanished, leaving a curious look in its place. The bits of conversation that wafted into his ears were quite interesting, and Kaphiri soon found himself eavesdropping. "They're saying that the end of the world is on our doorstep," exclaimed the camel to her friend, terror seizing her features. "Pish posh," retorted the other. "It's a load of rubbish!" Unable to restrain himself, Kaphiri swaggered over to the other two, chest puffed and chin held high to emphasis his "extreme" masculinity. "Well," he began, flashing what he imagined was an irresistible grin, "if the world does end, I'll surely be the last creature standing." The two females, not impressed by his gloating and strutting, simply burst into giggles. Deflating like a punctured balloon, Kaphiri abandoned his macho facade, a sheepish grin sidling across his face.
After a few moments of chatting with the two females about the impending apocalypse, Kaphiri bid them farewell. Such a complete end to all life seemed an impossibility to the camel. How and why would the gods terminate all beings with a snap of their immortal little fingers? It would be so sudden, so complete. They had so carefully and concisely constructed the world from nothing, so why would they destroy it so hastily? A soft puff of air was expelled from his nose, a skeptical look painting his tawny face. Kaphiri wasn't the most devout follower or idolizer of the gods, yet he still doubted that they would do something so brash. With his mind juggling such thoughts, his thickly-padded feet were free to shuffle where they wished. The sand made for smooth travel, and his train of thought was not derailed by any jarring movements. Kaphiri traversed the sand for many minutes before realizing where he was headed - the local watering hole.
The sandy animal halted and ducked his neck, his single hump producing a curvy shadow on the ground. Quickly, almost greedily, he lapped at the water, the cool liquid soothing his parched throat. Capable of storing many gallons of water, Kaphiri drank for many minutes, only stopping when it sloshed and splashed in the vast chamber of his stomach. Content, the male lifted his snout, glancing at his surroundings. In a spark of memory, he suddenly recalled that this was a favorite location of Monifa, one of his camel friends. He found himself scanning the area for the familiar figure of the lady camel, and immediately stopped himself when realizing his actions. Kaphiri snorted wryly, dismissing any wishes of seeing Monifa. Why would it matter to him whether she stopped by to visit or not? Still, he couldn't ignore the sudden urge to be in the amiable camel's company...

It'd be very fun to play this little heron because she has a different personality, and sort of a personality that I rp with sometimes +B Also, her personality appeals to me, the way she has a belief that the end will come and it will happen until she finds evidence that it won't actually happen. She actually seems pretty independent and powerful, sort of self-supporting in my opinion, and seems like a very exceptional character that catches my eye and attention. Plus, I've only rped a bird once before and it was fun! xD So, I think I would have a very fun time rping her, and that's what roleplaying is all about, isn't it? Well, besides improving grammar and writing skills I guess, having fun! +B Samples of Past Roleplaying As Zenar; Cruel Fates(highlight the text) As Sarei; Night of Dreams As Sarei; Flaming IntrigueAs Rina; Moonlit Travels(login as guest p/w guest) Two paragraph example with this character Idle thoughts passed through the mind of the young Priestess, the thoughts just floating through lazily as if supported by a lazy river out somewhere. Not many things that floated in her mind were actually important, most being idle gossip and such, although that one thought in particular lingered as it passed. It hadn't necessarily bothered her, but just intrigued her and made her think about what was being said. The apocalypse was most likely going to happen, her conversations with the Gods had not proved otherwise, so why did people not believe Paki? Some people believed in Amon instead, a fellow priest, and believed what Amon believed: Paki was lying. He believed that Paki was just trying to attract attention for himself and that it didn't seem correct in that the Gods would just destroy all life. But Mukarramma herself did not necessarily know what to think. Yes, she had conferred with the Gods and they had not said anything about this prophecy of Paki's to be true or not, but what if it wasn't? What if Paki was just lying? The heron gasped at herself, quickly brushing the thought away. How could she think like that? Banishing the thought from her mind, she turned her gaze back to the real earth to realize where she had walked herself. She had taken herself to the very temple of Ra, The Sun God. Quirking a brow at where she had found herself, she kept on walking through the entrance, not pausing to look or examine anything but just walking through. The heron walked through another entrance, though this one being more of an inner entrance, finding herself in front of the stairs and large, white pillars of the temple of Ra. Picking up her long orange legs, she went up the stairs, step by step to gaze inside to the dimness that was the temple's insides. Blinking her eyes rapidly to get used tot he dim lighting, she looked at the temple for a bit. Sconces were lined along each of the pillars, one to one of the great columns, the fire inside gleaming with an inner light and showing the way around in a reasonable radius. The reaches of the lights weren't that big, the reason being that the lights weren't that very big. Instead of few big lights with a fire-place or hearth like resemblance, there were many little sconces on the walls providing light. Mukarramma actually preffered the numerous small fires to the few large fires. Though she wasn't really one to say. Gray eyes looked farther in to see the statue of Ra standing proudly. Bowing low the the statue she closed her eyes and murmured a quick prayer to the Gods, slowly coming back up to stand. The priestess felt a ruffle of her feathers as she stood back up and a brush of something against her leg. She turned to look for the source of the touches, but saw nothing. Her mind wandered as she blinked into the darkness, eyes narrowing as she saw no one behind her. Who would go this close to her, one of the few powerful priests and the High Priestess? Kazmede would... a thought whispered into her mind. Her eyes softened as she affectionately thought of the Prince. She had an exceptional soft spot for the little fox even if they were a different species. It didn't really matter to her; what mattered to her was his personality. Even though he had a common prince-like stature in her eyes, he told her things that he wouldn't tell other people. She was sort of just a person that understood him like others didn't. Musing on her thoughts she bowed once again to the statue of Ra as she left, a quick question came to her. She whispered it out loud in the temple before she knew what she was doing. Why are you going to end the life of the world?

OOC Account: BlissUntold Name: “Liz” Email: BatOuttaHill@hotmail.com IM: Ashamonga Age (optional): 16 Character you want to role-play (name): Omorose Why do you want to role-play this character? Many of the characters I’ve created have been modeled after how I’ve lived and what I know. They have morals. They have depth, and look further than another’s outer shell. It would be interesting to explore the parameters of a shallow, egotistical character, like Omorose. Also, I want to play a static character, as this will be my first venture into an actual role-play game. I want to participate, but slowly at first, so I can get a feel for the ways and workings of the role-playing world. Samples of Past Role-playing (links are preferred): Shadows Over Thalin Two paragraph example with this character: “Come come now! Out of the way...shove off! Move it!" Omorose made her way through the crowded marketplace, shoving aside the more distorted, feeble-looking commoners around her. How could she force herself to purchase items in the same vicinity as such filth? She strutted past fruit venders, bread venders, jug venders, and other such unnecessary venders, her thick black hair gliding gracefully in wave upon the slight breeze her walking speed created. Finally, in her haste, Omorose came upon a clothing vender. “Excuse me,” she grumbled harshly to an elderly woman. The woman was feeling the material of a robe-like article, studying the crevices and thread-stitches closely. She turned to Omorose, about to tell her to find another vender, among other unspeakable expletives. Fear and anger welled up in the woman’s eyes when she gazed upon Omorose’s tanned, chiseled face. She grunted an apology, and brushed against Omorose as she turned on her heels and walked briskly in the opposite direction. “Some people,” muttered Omorose. Her face changed from its stone-like position, to one of feigned interest as she perused the clothing before her. All the while she grinned, lips curled just showing her radiantly white teeth. But she could not take her mind off that woman’s behavior, or those of many of the people whom she’d run into before. They’d all glare at her with the same menacing look. As if she could stop herself from being so beautiful. Was it her fault the gods gave her a wondrous gift to flaunt? Did it bother her one bit that her appearance thrived upon the depression of the less attractive? Omorose paused. She whispered, “Does it?” For a moment, her face twisted into a perplexed look, wondering if she could help being beautiful, and not be so wrapped up in her own well-being. Laughing, she shook her head, flung her hair to one side of her face, and waved at the seemingly blind/deaf/mute vender. “EXCUSE ME? How much for these beads?”

However, I have only seriously gotten into it around the beginning of April. Character you want to roleplay: Lapris Why do you want to roleplay this character? She is not the usual "type" of character I tend to RP, and so this is again an experiment for me. Her personality is close to mine (though I hope I am at least a little smarter :P), and I think it will be easier this way for me to get inside her mind, by having her act and react basically as I would in the same situation. Through this sort of "method RPing", I hope to add some depth to her character. Lapris merely sniffed at the burly ox merchant that barreled past her. How rude. She was only there for beads, after all. Last time she had come to market, she had been distracted by a rat, nearly knocked over a fruit stand, and then promptly forgot what she had come for, which was beads. Or was it flowers? Anyway, she was there for beads now, and - "Oooooooooo!" wailed an old vulture woman, squatting beside an abandoned stand. She shook a bag of trinkets at Lapris. "Young woman! Prayer beads? Bracelets for the apocalypse?" "There won't be an apocalypse," replied Lapris, stopping to face the crone. "Ooooooooooo, you say that but do you know?" "It was just a dream," said Lapris with a shrug. "It could mean anything. Besides, we're strong people." She took a second look at the bag. "Oh, but those are beautiful beads. How much?" OOC Account: Sinderella Name: Sin, Sinder, Ella E-mail: SiLLiKiKi@aol.com IM WindChasr12 Age: 17 How Long Have You RPed? For six and a half years now... Character: Meskhenet Why? Everyone knows that I've wanted Meskhenet for the past couple of weeks. She's an extremely interesting character, a type that I've never actually RPed before. Her personality is one that I'd like to delve into a little deeper, and I feel that I am able to do the job well. Also, she is a Static Character, and since I will be out for the third week of August, she'd fit right into my schedule. Sample of Past Role-Play: As I speak, many of my RP sites are closing, buuut... 1. At Stop Ward, as Elektra2. At Forsaek, as Accera (You might need to login as 'Guest' with password 'guest.') Two Paragraph Example:The scent of incense, a cool breeze and the feeling of worn stones underneath aching paws. How long had Meskhenet remained in this position? She could not tell the hour, the day, or even where she was. All that mattered was the altar in front of her, and the never-ending worship and vigil that consumed her everyday life. Her fragile chest heaved with another inward sob, and searing tears tore their way down a weary face. The desert fox had aged rapidly since Paki's prophecy. Her gait was no longer sure and regal, rather shaky and uneasy, as if the tiles underneath her were shifting with every step. The altar to Ra, hewn of precious gold and rough granite, seemed to be Meskhenet's only salvation. Armageddon was a stone's-throw away, the threat of a world fraught with destruction and disease, and the end of all life in Egypt. Why had the gods forsaken her? Frail limbs shook with an undying tension, and her stoic posture collapsed into a heap in front of the altar. What had she done wrong? What had anyone done wrong? Why were they so displeased, ready to end all of the planet's lives in a single breath? Meskhenet did not know the answers to these questions. She wasn't sure anyone knew, except for Paki himself. Many a time she had resolved to meet up with the heron, and have him explain to her in detail his vision of the end of the world. But she had never raised enough courage to ask him. One part of her didn't want to know the details; the other had a morbid curiosity to the death that would overcome even the strongest of beasts. Often she had thought of sacrificing herself on this very altar, letting her hot blood pour forth on the stone. A sacrifice for forgiveness, for repentance, one to save the world. Maybe then the gods would recognize her pleas, her begging, her sorrow. And maybe then she could make all wrongs right, and absolve unseen sins. Those thoughts were catalogued into an addled mind, and saved for later. Surely part of the torture the gods had laid out was the awful anticipation for it all to be over with. Meskhenet would endure it just as her people would. Feebly the queen started another novena, an uneasy voice resounding against hollow walls. The only hope now was prayer.

The OOC you guys already know. Character you want to roleplay (name): Paki (Assuming his name hasn't changed yet) Why do you want to roleplay this character? He's the villain. It may be a bit tough to play someone who is more charismatic than I am, but I like a good challenge. Samples of Past Roleplaying (links are preferred): http://p086.ezboard.com/fbrokenmirrorfrm15...rt=121&stop=140I'm Kavam, my post is the fifth one from the bottom. Two paragraph example with this character: Paki left the temple and squinted into the blazing sun. It wavered in the heat, as all things in the desert do. "Look," he said to a nearby acolyte "Gaze into the sun see what is to come!" The acolyte oblingly looked directly at the sun, only to be blinded and look away. "I'm sorry I-" the acolyte mumbled an apology. "Do not be sorry!" Paki roared, then approaching a calm, "You must simply see what fate has given you and accept it, much as I have accepted my own fate. It is no shortcoming or weakness to not have foresight. Rather, it is a gift, a gift that one lacks an incredible burden to the people, to themselves, and to the gods. That's what it is, a burden. But you've no doubt heard enough of our cheap talk, no? Don't worry, I know how it is, I was young once as well. Let me show you something that will truly interest you." Paki turned his back to the acolyte and then turned his face to the sun, only he closed his eyes tightly, out of the acolytes view. Slowly his hands raised up, almost as if to embrace the entirety of the sky itself. Then a loud cry came forth from Paki's mouth, "Ahhhh! Run! Take shelter! I have seen what mere mortals should not see! Hide! Lest the gods wreck their justice on you as well!" The acolyte ran off terrified. Paki grinned and muttered to himself, "Cattle. That's all they are. And my job is to herd them." For those of you wondering how staff applications for characters will be handled here you go: · Staff will have first pick on static characters.

OOC Account: Azi Name: Elvis Pre—Wait, wait, must be incognito! …We’ll go with ‘Mel’. Email: reptilian_chaos@yahoo.com IM: x Vampyroteuthis Age: 15. How long I’ve been roleplaying: Since the age of 12. Character I want to roleplay: Amon. Why I want to roleplay this character:Had I been able to make a character for myself, he would have undoubtedly turned out like this priest. I like being able to play characters with a sincere amount of unappreciated chivalry and a knack for seeing through irritating falsehoods (of course, this one could have catastrophic consequences). It also seems like there would be a fair amount of verbal warfare between him and Paki, or anyone else that pushed him too close to the edge; I like to be able to battle with words. Not to mention, of course, that herons are just too rawkin’. xD Samples of my Past Roleplaying:As Jareth.Still Jar. ^^ Two paragraph example with this character:Silence would only be treasured when it was welcome. In times such as these, Amon dreaded the eerie nothingness that sought to penetrate his hearing. It meant that scheming was underway, and that he had been deemed an unworthy contributor to its completion. Days earlier, he would have readily presumed that every priest had retired at this late hour---Ra’s light had been vanquished long ago, and the stars were shrouded by the wispy clouds that moved anxiously fast across the heavens. However, presently, it was as though the heron could detect the blasphemous whisperings of some false prophecy being foretold in practicing for the real announcement. Damn him.His talons clacked raucously against the stone tablets that made up the temple’s floor. Pacing had always been a sedative on the learned priest’s mind, and it worked wonders for his current tension. The Gods had not been communicating with him lately, and this added to the number of worries he had been experiencing. While Paki might be hailed as the true receptor of their wisdom, Amon had always instilled only a cautious faith in his power-hungry associate. Such faith had been eroding steadily by each dying day, and now was nothing more than an unwanted memory. His own visions were true, and his resolve clear. The commoners and the non-believers were the problem, as they usually denounced the priesthood outright, or worshipped Paki has much as the Gods he claimed to speak with. The blind fools.Amon blinked tiredly, and skulked off with a grimace of apprehension.

-looks around- heh. I guess I'm the first to try for a second character.. :3 ---------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: This is me aiming for a second character ^_^ And I am fully aware of the guidelines of claiming a second character noted above n___n The Formlook up please :D Character you want to roleplay (name)- Monifa Why do you want to roleplay this character? Because x3 This character, strangely, is what I idolize in wanting to be xD Powerful, graceful, easy to talk to without getting to overtalkative with a sprinkle of optimism. Yet, Monifa has constant optimism... So then there's a sprinkle of stuff that I can do with this optimism that seems so constant and always there -represses urge to cackle- heh. Anywho, I also want to play her because she just seems like a fun character to play :D Samples of Past Roleplaying (links are preferred): As Althea; .-Dun-. Path .-Queries-.As Sarei; Night of Dreams, commonly known as NoD * As R'lon; Oh..GoodieTwo paragraph example with this character:Today was the day.. Today was the day, that day that almost all females of any race loved to do, a day to finally go shopping! Monifa couldn't help but make a noise between a bleet and a rumble in a sound of pleasure even if it was done quietly. A faint rumbling noise could be heard from the female camel as she walked ever-so-gracefully into the market place, dark eyes wandering from each stall as she passed them. There was just so many things to look at and admire! Arranged in all manners of extravagant style were things that were actually useful and beautiful in almost all eyes. Other objects just looked accomadating in any abode, and still others were just plain flashy, with no real use for them except the custom of beauty and vanity. Which were the ones that actually snagged Monifa's attention away from the others do you think? A simple question, yes, but one that the answer would most likely surprise the inquirer, because Monifa couldn't decide on what to look at first. Did she need something that was pretty and useful? Or did she need something that was just plain pretty? OR, did she need anything, or want anything? Yes, that was the ultimate question; for there was a definite difference between the two words "need" and "want". For one, the definition of need would go as follows: 1. A condition or situation in which something is required or wanted: crops in need of water; a need for affection. 2. Necessity; obligation: There is no need for you to go. And then, there is the word want: 1. To desire greatly 2. To request the prescence or assistance of. And in a way, the young cameless knew it was what she wanted and not needed. That was, until she saw that darling little anklet just swaying back and forth on the little hook-like thing that it was hanging on. One pure gold jewel, that one icon that dangled was easily the most noticeable thing about the anklet as it continued to sway from the pounding and thumping of feet on the ground. The small curving arcs entwined with beads that circled the outline of the silver frame were the second thing the eye saw. Even from across the street, this one thing took her attention and kept it, holding it close. Even as simple as it was, considering the other jewelry vendors that were crowded around there, it was probably the most precious as well. In its own way, it had captured Monifa's attention as other stands with the jewelry had not, and it had kept it there as well. Other people who knew Monifa would know, this was no ordinary anklet. If the young woman's attention was so drawn to this one piece of jewelry, surely, surely the stall vendor would see her desire and price it up? Pondering on that, she walked forward, mind only concentrated on that anklet. But just like that, it was gone. -ends- heh xD explanation the bracelet "disappears" because I wanted her to have something constantly on her mind. and then, if I can post for fun xD, she'll go after it to see it and...stuff xD.. ^_^ *the one I'd like you to look at is the post near the middle underneath the post by Hades Corbeau/Aima "OOC: Aima: OH MY THIRD FREAKIN' GOD WITH HORNS! Hades: ..Excuse me, this is a private moment.. Shoo!" heh x3

Age: 15.
How long you've been roleplaying: Uhhh. Not sure. 0_o On and off a few years.
Character you want to roleplay (name): Hathor.
Class: God.
Age: As old as time. ): OLDER THAN MY MOLDYYYYY SOCCCKSSSS.
Personality – Loving > Caring > Passionate in beliefs > Ignorant > Over protective > Affection greedy > Naïve
Physical – 7” > Somewhat awkward appearing (Long-limbed and lanky, rather unbecoming to other cows) > Silver fur > Black spots > Very clumsy > Oaf-like.
Samples of Past Roleplaying (links are preferred):
Trei.
Two paragraph example with this character:
“How could he even think of doing this!?”
The abrupt and blunt query that had so brusquely been thrown out into the open air reverberated off the four walls enclosing her gangly figure. The prior question had a sense of absolute dire distraught to it, and it hadn’t been shoved in the direction of any living individual with the ability to reply. If anything, she was now stuck speaking to one of the four pillars holding up the roofing of the structure she happened to be currently residing in. How could that… beast… do that? She contemplated vehemently, a bemused expression pasted across her pallid facial features. With a restless flick of the tail, the creature then began pacing once more. The monotonous clicking and thudding of hoof falls resounded in the air around her, enough to shove one off the precipice of sanity. But then again, she had already long since plunged into the intoxicating pool of insanity, asphyxiating on the lack of given logic and common sense that was once the core of her mind. And now, after that metamorphic incident, her thoughts were scattered and incoherent to everyone. This included her as well, of course.
The look of apprehension was still plastered across her face as she delved deeper into the newest set of frantic thoughts and dire needs, more commonly known as her evidently unstable mentality. This all led to two of her hooves finding themselves somehow ensnared beneath a rather opulent rug of the sorts, thus causing her lanky and long form to heave forward. Unable to stop a future tumble, her uncoordinated and heavy animalistic figure toppled practically head over heels.
“Oh for the love of Ra…”
She unwillingly uttered from her vocals, immediately regretting having done so afterwards. Hathor strongly opposed the usage of insulting oaths, having heard some pertaining to her quite a few times. As a dulled pain throbbed within her rib cage, she gave into the animal instinct of needing to exclaim her state of brutal agony. A vague “Mrrrr” sounded within her vocal cords, just as quickly cast away as it had come. With a clearing of the throat, Hathor positioned herself in a way that it was possible for her to so kindly remove herself from the very uncomforting granite floor. This obviously did not do much for the unfortunate creature when her hoof inconveniently slipped from the earth, and her legs began flailing madly in the air at a futile attempt to regain balance.
Clunk. Thud. CRASH.
“OH FOR THE LOVE OF RA!”

OOC Account: taulaai Name: Perry Email: felindaes@yahoo.com IM: polka dot feline Age (optional): 16 How long you've been roleplaying (optional): Hm, 2-3 years? Character you want to roleplay (name): Abubkabar Why do you want to roleplay this character?: Abubkabar, though rather old & aging, appears to be a unique character. He seems like an important asset to the plot which is why I think it would be a good idea to play him. His personality is somewhat diverse & indifferent, which, I find, quite playable (personally). Also, this RPG seems very enticing...making me want to participate in this game even more. Samples of Past Roleplaying (links are preferred):1) As Margarita2) As Laasyliax Two paragraph example with this character: ____________________________________________________________________ The fragile desert fox slowly lifted his cranium, eyes wearily falling upon this 'scrawny' animal that lay in front of him. Petite nose wrinkled in disgust, head casting sideways with dismay. There was nothing he could do anymore. Abubakar felt defeated...controlled. This was just a wild game of chess where there were no boundaries...nor any rules. You had to have skill. And compassion. In just a matter of seconds he'd be thrown away to one side...useless, rotten. A part of Abubakar just wanted to let go, to forget about this goddamn pressure and move on with his life. But this trauma was inevitable. The people of Ancient Egypt were anticipating his every move. In some way he was just another puppet, dangling from a loose thread of transparency....awaiting a destiny filled with peril and deceit. Why couldn't he be done with these futile mistakes of his? Why couldn't he just hand the throne over to Kazemde? Even that thought made his heart pang with guilt & pity. The boy was too young, too inexperienced...he could never take on this challenge. Abubakar hated himself for thinking that. But there was no alternative... "Uncle, I've b-" He shook his head wistfully, dark orbs avoiding the mischievous creature's own...ashamed. "I do not have time for your prophecies or ideas anymore Kazemde. You see that I am tired and weary, and yet you fail to leave me alone. All day I am pestered by your suggestions. Is it not obvious that I wish to be...to be detached? Detached from everything. Every little, insignificant thing. I just need one day of freedom, one day of glee! These past few weeks have been torture for me, don't you see!? What would you, my dear nephew, do in my place?" It was, in some ways, a test. Kazemde just gave a long, hard stare and turned away, bushy tail drooped low between his two hindlegs. The pharoah just sighed, conscience thoughts bulging with bewilderment. Should he go after him and apologize...to make things right? Something held Abubakar back though, something intangible...& forceful.

Character you want to roleplay (name): Monifa :x (sorry Taz) Why do you want to roleplay this character? I want to role play Monifa mostly because she's a lot like me, or who I aspire to be. She is easy to talk to, ready to help, and smart mostly like me or who I try and be. I love role playing characters that are wise or have advice to give and are easy to talk to, mainly because its what I'm best at. Samples of Past Roleplaying (links are preferred): wolf-tracks.com (Relu Islada is my character) Dozens of horse role playing games that are gone. Started at Sim Valley, moved on to 13D, and other games. Two paragraph example with this character: Monifa dipped her velvet muzzle, splashing the water she wanted to drink. She flapped her lip in the water, rumbling with glee. She snapped her lids shut over her chocolate brown eyes, swinging her head more. "Splash, splash, splash!" she yelped, pushing air into the water, happy bubbling sound erupting. Shouts came from behind her, merchants waving their hands and howling with displeasure at the gallons she wasted. She raised her head, buffing up, and glancing down at the angry men with soft brown eyes. She bleeted and rumbled, conversing with the still fuming men. Several growled, spinning around and walking back to their carts. She threw her knobby legs in front of her, beginning to slowly make her way to the tents.
Huge camel ducked her head, pace not faltering, and made her way under the tent. "Monifa! Monifa, you're back already my darling!" a stout man hollered, gently tapping her. She layed down obidiently, folding herself up. She blew out, flapping her lips happily. "Oh Monifa! Here we go, just right." The man displayed a light, gold plated halter, with beads in rich bright colours, glimmering intelligently in mixed light of candles and dusk. He reached up, fastening the rope halter around her head, cheering and snapping his hands quickly together. "Beautiful darling! Stunning!" Monifa blinked, tilting her head, and promptly bleeting her thanks, as the charms and beads danced about, clinking together.
(Uhm, I hope thats ok. And a halter because, well she seems awful sophisticated, and needs some jewelry. And it also shows that people really like her and so they give her stuff. >.o lol. Hehe. And the water because she's playful and stuff.... but very smart.)
