At least I thought I did. I thought the only way I'd ever meet them was if they were in handcuffs, but I was wrong about that as well. Connor just happened to be at Dick's one night, strangely without his brother. I joined him for a drink, and he seems so...normal. He wasn't what I expected. But I was pleasently surprised. I flirted with him a little, I'll admit, and he's damn fine looking... the kind of Irish Catholic boy you could clean up and take home to mom. After I left his company, I found myself thinking about him all the next day. It was crazy...I really think that he's...fantastic...despite who he is.

- "Do I remember the day the two of us ran into one another all too well. It was in the Park; I had brought my professor's class out to do a little re-enactment of the Hamilton-Burr duel. Completely against the directions to deliver the lecture that had been left for me, but who was I to care? This was more fun. And they'd taken it a bit far, too. Borrowing props from the theater department, we'd all gone out to Central Park for the day. The demonstration went well, but I had a little problem getting two of the kids to turn back over the prop pistols they had borrowed. An argument ensued, at which point I heard somebody chuckle as the two students handed over the fake guns. It turned out that he had witnessed the entire thing from re-enactment to post-lecture. After I had placed the two guns in my bag, he approached me, still laughing about what had gone on. After getting over the initial shock of the laughter and the realization that he wasn't laughing at me, we actually began to talk. I wouldn't say that we are the closest of friends, but Connor is definitely somebody I feelcomfortable around. Heck, I feel like I can say anything aroud him, except about my family. That's one thing I shy away from. He doesn't seem like he's from around here, and I don't want my father's name clouding any more of my life. And besides, the Moretti name isn't always one of those things you want floating about."
