Distinguishing Features: He looka likea maaannn
Detailed Appearance: As a tall and mysteriously dark man, Joshua initially seems like he could attractive, if it weren't for his pesky personality getting in the way. He has a classical looking face, something that he heard alot in France was that he looked French. Very French. He has a quiet face, one that doesn't easily show emotion, and a pair of soul-seeing green eyes. Above those eyes are beautifully shaped dark eyebrows and a mop of dark hair that stands up in all the wrong places.
At a solid six foot, his lean frame is what he calls 'lanky'. Hard in all the places that should be soft, he has many issues with his body, but he carriers the air of someone who doesn't care. He has never been a leader, always a follower, and people can see it in his eyes when he is around his Brother. He allows Mike to lead him around, tell him what to do and doesn't complain. Quiet and unassuming, he only really comes to life when around someone artistic like himself, or when he's in the heat of the moment during a hit with his Brother.
The only scars he really has are just the normal ones; skinned knees, a cut on the shin...the only remarkable scars are the three criss-crossing his back which occurred in the 6th grade after a fight about the role of Jesus in Christianity. The Principal beat him a bit hard, but Josh never once complained. He has one tattoo that he shares with his brother, something to bond them together even more. It is religious in content.

Joshua Lorenz was always known as the quieter of the two brothers. From an early age, his mother thought he might be autistic, because the child didn't say his first word until he was nearly 3. When he did decide to speak, it was a complete and grammatically whole sentence. Thus has been his life. Josh is quiet until there is an extreme desire to speak, and he always holds his brilliant mind back. He reads constantly, but recently has turned more towards the visual arts.
Josh is a complex indiviual, part of him just wants to sit in his room and never leave, but the other part is intensely interested in what his brother and him are doing. He loves the thrill of the kill, knowing that he ended someone's life, and he thinks it's beautiful. He starting to understand the rush of adrenaline and how primal the urge is.
Josh is the one who makes sure that everything they do is clean...no finger prints, no dna. He plans what they do. However in thte heat of the moment, he's also the most vicious. He hates being underestimated, or told that he can't do something by his brother, and he takes out all his inner frustrations then. In relationships with females, since they are few and far between, he tends to be awkward and quiet. He's finally figured them out, or at least he thinks he has, and so lately he's been a bit cocky around them. His brother thinks it's just because he's finally figured out that no woman is worth the pain and drama.

Detailed History:
Being born into a religious and strict family isn't what it's cracked up to be. As the first child, Joshua was prey to his mother and fathers ambition to repopulate the earth with stout catholic souls. Josh was quickly followed by Micheal, which was a relief to the toddlers mind. Now he was left alone, to sit and play with blocks as he wanted.
Once when Josh was four and Mike was three, Mike was caught standing behind his quieter brother with a big metal tonka trusk over his head, ready for the crushing blow. After being punished in the usual catholic way, he said that he wanted Josh to die because *he* wanted to be the eldest son and make his family proud. Josh never subscribed to religion whole-heartedly, and as the boy entered elementary and middle school (catholic, naturally) Josh kept his tongue to himself, and took the chance to study the art. He loved the stained glass windows and was often found standing staring at them with the light and colors in his eyes.
In high school, he couldn't contain it any longer and let the anger out. High school for him was filled with long days of being force fed religion, and then going home and drawing or sculpting. His parents didn't even seem to realize that their oldest son was slipping from the arms of God, and mostly focused on Micheal, who was their little angel. After High school, Micheal and Josh moved in together as Josh went to college and Mike studied and trained in the Church. They heard about the Saints of Boston...and that's when they had the brilliant idea to continue the work of the McManus brothers in New York.
