I am still in love with your betta drawing. What was your medium again?

Sunaga - January 13, 2007 08:08 PM (GMT)
Ink.

It was originally sketched in pencil, then I went over the lines with black ink, and then I colored it using an ink brush and blue ink.

Mumusuki - January 13, 2007 08:29 PM (GMT)
I think it would be fun to use inks..... I should try it sometime.

I'll do some more, I promise. :)

I have found the secret of many artists, and as soon as I get my hands on some Copic Markers, you can expect some nice stuff when I learn to use them.

Nice work!!!!!! I'm looking forward to seeing more too! I'm not familiar with copic markers. What are they?

Mumusuki - January 18, 2007 01:12 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I haven't heard of them either.

Sunaga - January 18, 2007 06:21 PM (GMT)
Lol, I hadn't heard of them before either until about 2 days ago. They're alcohol-based markers that come in a super-range of colors and ook like watercolors or inks, but handle better. From what i've heard, lol.

They're kinda expensive, but I have like..530 dollars or so to spend, so it shouldn't be too bad...I'm going to buy a few shades of red first to test them and I'll see how it goes. If I like them, I'll get more. =)

Akamaru-Enko - January 25, 2007 10:22 PM (GMT)
So that's what copic markers are.

Haeun - January 25, 2007 11:26 PM (GMT)
Prismacolor markers work just as gorgeously as copic markers (well, almost as gorgeously). I heart prismacolor.
