Hi everyone. As many of you do or do not know , I had to adopt out my two bettas when I was inbetween apartments and staying with a friend for about a month. Well I found someone on craigs list who was giving one away because it was given to them and they have so many tanks that they are concerned they can not give him enough attention. I Should be getting him on Sunday. I also am getting a 1 gallon betta tank from a friend on there. I had a goldie tank for quite somewhile and when I could no longer run it i adopted my goldies out and the lady who got them has a betta tank to give away. yippiee :WOU :WOW:

I am still waiting to get him. Seems the college student/ part time worker are having trouble making our schedules meet together. hopefully I will get him soon

Wehew. I think I am getting my betta tonight. The college student who is giving him to me is going on vacation on Sunday and wants to make sure I have him so someone can take care of him while she is on vacation. I am saying prayers her room mate lets me keep the 2 gallon tank he is in.

I get him tonight. I am going over there to pick him up. I think he is a veil tail. All the lady could tell me is that he is blue. She doesn't know much about bettas. Someone gave him to her room mate. I put an add on Craigslist to see if someone had a betta they could no longer care for etc. And she answered my listing. She and her room mate have like 7 other pets and a fish tank so he often gets neglected and they were looking for someone who could give him more attention. So prasie God I am getting a new baby tonight.

Sorry for the double posts. I have an update. I got my betta Friday evening.Handsome little dude he is. He is a bicolor -navy blue and black and I believe he is a deltal tail. The lady who was giving him away was not sure what type tail he had when we talked on the phone before I got him because she did not know much about bettas. I believe he is a delta tail . I was pleasantly suprised. He looks like pics I saw of a delta tail .I think that is what he is. He is definitely not a veiltail. Do you all have pics of round tail, single delta tail and a spade tail. His tail is very round and has a spine ( spike) sticking out the back of it. Sorry I don't have dig cam to take pics of him. He is quite gorgeous. Named him "Zeke" ,short for Ezekiel. He is in a one gallon filtered tank on my bedside nightstand, so he gets lots of attention. My other thought is he might be a plakat mix of some kind. The lady who gave him to me said he was 3 years old.

He sounds realy cool:) 3 years wow. That lady must have taken good care of him!
