yeah he had some kind of respiratory thing he had to go see the doctor for I think it was yesterday. He said he was not getting back on the site untill saturday. I told him to get some rest. I hope he better soon . I miss his sense of humor

My sisters in school to be a nurse :D what a coinsident you 2. Plus my grandma and my aunt where also nurses.

I can handle people, but I prefer animals, I could not work with people beyond emergency situations.

I have to agrea with you there. Some of the stuf she goes though is horible! Shes also working at an old fokes home.

My mom has worked old folks homes,a nd AIDs hospices, as well as private care, and I am sorry, I could not do it.
Animals are my thing.

I was nurse for 16 years. Worked everywhere in the hospital I was at. My favorite place to work was the ER (worked there for 5 years) and psychaitry ( worked there 6 years). They had a big layoff right after this big company bought the hospital 12 years ago and I was one of the nurses that got laid off. I was an iv certified lpn. The industry was tight back then and I could not find a new job in nursing at the time. All worked out for the good though. This job as a legal receptionist opened up at around that time and I got it. I have been here 12 years now . The firm is very good to us. Keep posting Mommy2Karah and you may catch up with me soon. yeah I just asked Bella that same question in another thread about being able to post as two people

I think my sister wonts to go into babys. But she is placed in Spinal Cord injuries for half of this year. That one sounds interesting:)

As fpr me, all I want, and all I have ever wanted to do was work with animals.
They are my joy.

I love animals as well. I talk to them just like I do to humans. My Dad thinks I am nuts, but oh well the animals love it.

Well they understand us, our tone of voice, body language, smell, energy, that kind of thing.
I recently went to pick something up, and the person I was getting it from was surprised, because the dog didn't bark.
I rarely have dogs bark at me, they KNOW I love them...
I can't explain it any more.
I have stopped dogs at a full charge that I didn't know, and with one word, stopped their attack.
My mother has wild raccoons next to her, and I was amazing everyone by showing them these wild critters getting close enough to me that I could petted them if I were crazy enough to.
I have had wild birds fly into my house, and not panic when I held them. I have had feral cats come up to me like I bottle raised them.
I can't explain it, but that is where my talents lie, with animals.
That is why I rarely have any problem with my pets...
OK, the breeding issue, with the bettas, but other than that, nothing. But that is alos why, though I was not the one that fed and took care of the hamster, nor did I play with her, she is always up underneith me when she gets loose, and not under my kids. Whatever it is that I have, they don't have it.

its cause she can sense that you love her. I can be walking through the petstore and dogs will come over to me to be petted draging their owners behind them. That is neat about the birds. That is neat about the kittens as well. My ex husband and I rescued 4 kittens that thier Mom abandoned and we bottle fed them and raised them untill they could be adopted
