Title: Spotted Ct
leafgirl115 - August 13, 2006 06:22 PM (GMT)
When I came back from Detroit we stopped of at a really nice store that had hand blown glass items and stain glass. On there check out desk they had a lovely blue/white spotter Ct. He was amazing!!! I wish I could have taken him lol. He was really small to. Maybe 1 ½”. He was over 7 months because the lady had him that long. I don’t know where she got him or I would have run over and picked up some of his siblings!
To bad…

It would have been cool if you could have stocked up on stuff.
Next time you are in the US for a visit, let me know when and where, and I'll send something out to you there... Then you can just take it back across the border with you.
leafgirl115 - August 14, 2006 04:06 PM (GMT)
I will! :WOU I need more fish!!!! lol if only my parents would let me.
bettaqueen - August 18, 2006 09:51 PM (GMT)
you may have to do some more groveling to let them let you get more
LaBella - August 20, 2006 08:22 AM (GMT)
Either that, or save your miney up and run away to here.
You know you're welcomed here, (I could use a second body to help with the WCs, lol)
leafgirl115 - August 20, 2006 06:47 PM (GMT)

bettaqueen - August 21, 2006 09:12 PM (GMT)

leafgirl115 - August 21, 2006 09:55 PM (GMT)

bettaqueen - August 21, 2006 10:04 PM (GMT)
keep hoping and saying prayers and showing them you are taking good care of the ones you have now and maybe they will eventually cave in
leafgirl115 - August 21, 2006 10:46 PM (GMT)
Even if they do i dont have the space.... I could use my sisters bedroom but she will not let me:(
bettaqueen - August 22, 2006 02:59 PM (GMT)

leafgirl115 - August 23, 2006 01:42 AM (GMT)
when you have a bath or shower the steem heets up the room. Would that not be unhealthy for the betta?
Betta Blossoms - August 23, 2006 01:46 AM (GMT)
honestly i dont think it would cause many problems if any, but I suppose it depends on how big your bathroom is, ours is about as big as our smallest bedroom..
bettaqueen - August 23, 2006 01:44 PM (GMT)
If it was in an unfiletered jar that was big enough say gallon or so he probably would be o.k. especially if you used an exhaust fan in the bathroom when bathing or showering as to not steam up the room. Thought read about someone on this forum that kept theirs in the bathroom
leafgirl115 - August 23, 2006 02:30 PM (GMT)
We dont have a fan as the house is old. Ill think about it:)
bettaqueen - August 23, 2006 08:58 PM (GMT)
I am talking about the exhaust fan made into the ceiling. You really don't have one?
leafgirl115 - August 23, 2006 11:54 PM (GMT)
No we dont. Only new homes have them in.
bettaqueen - August 24, 2006 02:01 PM (GMT)
oh sorry. I think I know what you are talking about. I grew up in a home that was built during the victorian era and it did not have any in the bathroom, however it did have window.
leafgirl115 - August 24, 2006 02:09 PM (GMT)
My homes not that old. but it was built befor they started to realy put them in homes. We have just never updated:)
bettaqueen - August 24, 2006 04:26 PM (GMT)
you might have to eventually add one of those fans to the bathroom. heat and humidty from showers has a tendency to flake paint and make wood warp
leafgirl115 - August 24, 2006 04:40 PM (GMT)
We use spetial paint. And the bathroom is fine:)
bettaqueen - August 24, 2006 05:00 PM (GMT)
that is cool . I loved our old house i grew up in. We even had a clawed foot bathtub
leafgirl115 - August 24, 2006 05:08 PM (GMT)
I love them!!!
My mom and me love old homes and antiques (cant spell)
bettaqueen - August 24, 2006 05:10 PM (GMT)
I know I really miss our old house . We had three working fireplaces in it. We had to move because the neighborhood was getting to crime ridden. back when it was built it was a very nice area to live. Even when we first moved there it was.
Betta Belle - August 24, 2006 11:36 PM (GMT)
Claw foots are NICE, you can LAY DOWN in them, unlike todays tubs, where you ae squished... and I am 5'2" so hear me saying squished, you know it, lol.
leafgirl115 - August 25, 2006 12:16 AM (GMT)
lol that not that bad im 5'5 and i feel cramed to!
LaBella - August 25, 2006 02:05 AM (GMT)
I like tubs you can drown in if you aren't careful, lol.
bettaqueen - August 25, 2006 04:47 PM (GMT)
No believe it or not it was rather roomy
LaBella - August 25, 2006 04:55 PM (GMT)
That is what I meant, the claw foots are like that, the new stuff isn't.
I like claw foots.
I want a claw foot!!!
