Title: Update on DIY Filtration
Description: With images and video tour.

Forever-Mango - July 18, 2006 08:47 AM (GMT)
I would like to personally thank all that has helped me throught this year for my Pond.
Now its up and running like a dream. So far no leaks, except a few drops in the inlet.
The water is in, and the filtration is running without the airpump and HSA media
(Getting in on Saturday), but looks ok for now. The water was added in yesterday and
will be ageing for a few days, will place the 3 trial fish on Friday.

Once the trial fish has been added, I will let them run for a week or so. Keeping track
on the water parameters. The fish will be fed once a day on the 3rd day of trial to add
a kick start to the filter.

Hope all goes well, some photos to share my excitement.

I quick update.

I added lots of HSA (cheap and more Surface area version of K1) media into my chambers. I have also added plants into my static media to make it a plant filter too :P

Also a new video clip too! HERE!!
