Well, My niece and I got to the auction late. And since we did, we didn't get to see which fish to bid on and had no vague idea as to which type of fish were in what class. So we did what any other respecable bettaholic would do. We bought as many low reserve fish as we could. Well I think someone made a mistake or the bidders were sleeping cause I got the 3rd place winner Multi Singletail Male class for 4 dollars! My first HM so I am going to baby him for a while before I breed him to anything. :WOW:
That's a lot of fin! :WOU
I'm disappointed I couldn't get him to fully flare. I guess he was tired from being on the show circuit. Wants to relax and take a week off. :lolo:
Very nice Multi! If you plan to show him any more better keep up with the water changes. Looks like his Dorsal is going to be prown to curl.
Rob
he is gorgeous!
i love how vibrant his colors are!
OOO wow he is beautiful how do you find out when/where the auctions for fish are?!? i would love to attend one someday. :D
Yeah, yeah, yeah, excuses, excuses, excueses.
If you would have 1) let me know what you were looking for, I could have told you what fish you probably would want, BEFORE the auction, and if you would have 2) let me know what day you were coming, I would have 3) known to wear the drolly shirt, so you would know who I was... I TOLD you I was straightening out the hair, so you shouldn't have been looking for the freisan mane, OR the roit of ebony curls lolol.
If you hadn't overheard me admitting my insanity, you would have never known it was ME... and if you had thought to send me a picture, I would have found YOU... so stop crying, lol.
Bettaseverywhere, nice to see you on another board, lol.
The auctions are held at the end of most betta shows, and it is amazing what you can get there, and at a decent price. You can also get Thai fish at a bargain... just think, Thai fish without the shipping.... It is enough to make you run to join your local chapter, lol.
Rob, all ECB is thinking about is breeding that boy, lol. And most of the time, after breeding, you may as well forget about showing, unless you are very very very lucky, OR you were able to find betta sized muzzles, lol.
