I tried to breed him several times before he died, but I just couldn't find a girl he liked, he even shacked up with a female for probably 3 months before I gave up on him, apparently he senced my dissapointment in him, and one day, simply keeled over :blink: I was real sad, he was the best looking thing I had ever had my hands on, this picture was taken in his first spawning tank I tried..I have never seen another betta like him again, its realy funny, because what happened was my friend and I went to walmart, JUST as they had got the fish in, the bettas haddent even been gotten out of the cart yet, I picked him up and fell in love, I also bought a delta CT and a Ct girl the same day ^_^

Yes. He is a nice bi color crowntail. Very surprised to see something very beautiful sale in walmart. I hope you will find something like that in your future. ;)

My walamrt sometimes gets in some great fish, like one time I went in, and they had a pure black male, and a bright orange male..but, caught me with no money..and a restriction to getting anymore bettas :huh: *parents knoticed how many i had while i had my room downstairs, so i moved upstairs, and they dont even notice :D

I have had some great fish in my time, but he was the very best CT male

Wow, nice find for Walmart for sure!! A friend of mine also got a really nice CT from Walmart once... I told her they had some because I didn't have room for any more bettas at the time, but I couldn't just let that opportunity pass by :OO

Ohh, I have one like that!! (rays, not colour)I actually didn't notice how many rays my guy has until I put him in the spawn tank with his Doubletail girlfriend. I didn't notice because my guy is SO lazy!! He only half flared at her and he had never flared at any of his male neighbours either. I found him at one of my local pet shops. I stared calling him my 'tassle tail'. I will have to get some decent pics of him to show you all!!

Sorry, I also ment to say that your guy was beautiful :wub: , sorry that he didn't pass any of that on to offspring for you.

I KNOW..before he died, he got real thin, and lethargic, and his finas were all clamped, you wouldent even have known he was a CT :OPPS:
