I got these guys from a great fish store downtown called Aquarius. The only thing I dislike about it is the prices on bettas (a little too high) and the fact that the only way you can get a female is if you buy a pair. They had actually paired off this female with an unsuitable male (hello, he was blue and black with lots of red wash and much bigger), so I actually told one of the employees that they were not spawn siblings, that their colours were too different to give kids of the same colour, etc..I sat there for quite a while in protest, and I got her in the end. I payed a lot (I won't even say) for them, and had to borrow money off Bill. I intend to go back some time and get a microworm culture and some stuff.

Well yes.. If anyone can classify their colour (I believe they are purple coppers or something) and suggest names, I'd be really thankful. :"D
