I went with my mom on mothers day to go look for a female. In the tank with the females I spotted a few males. HeartBeat over here seemed to be the prettiest of the group and was deffinately the toughest.
He was flaring at all the ladies, and unlike most of the bettas there, he was not stressed out. I also needed a female so I kindly asked my mom for 2, she actually said yes with a smile (what a shocker). I showed a pic. of the 'girl' I got to Sunaga and it turned out to be a guy too. So now I'm stuck with an extra guy and I still have no female for GreenLight OR HeartBeat.

Anyways back to HeartBeat. I named him HeartBeat because I gave my mom the new Madonna CD for mothers day and as we got in the car, a song called HeartBeat was playing. It's probably my favorite song at the moment.

Right now he is in a 1 gallon bowl. I told my mom I'd go to a fish store that sells 2.5 gallon tanks for 10$ but I think I'm going to keep him in there.



He is such a small betta, compared to GreenLight.



He loves to hide sometimes, and I caought his sneaking up the bowl for air.

It was the first time I was this lucky.
He was at the main pet store we use to go to before I got involved with fish. It's called Nature pet store.

To tell you the truth, it's the only time I got a fish at that store because I wasn't a big fan of there bettas.

I'm very happy and I was going to breed him with the other plakat I got. but like I mentioned earlier, it's a boy.

I'm going to back to the store to get a female with Sunaga.

It doesn't really matter at this point. I didn't find a female for greenLight yet but I found one for HeartBeat!!
I'll post some pictures when she bars up again, because now she is stressed. LOL
