Aside from the caudal shape, I rather like this little guy!

http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auc...shmp&1210677119I've noticed he has been working on coming up with new and unusual colors and patterns. I've bought a few fish from him in the past and think he's someone to see what he'll come up with next. The fish I received were good and healthy.
They are both nice, I especially like the koi marble, but I don't consider the white to be be a dalmation.
Instead I think of him as an appaloosa marble.
The main reason the true dalmation is different than the fish pictured is that a dalmation doesn't change.
The fish will most likely marble out, the spots growing larger, until it is a good marble or a solid colored fish.
The spots may also disappear.
A dalmation doesn't loose spots.
They might gain more spots, they might grow, but they never go away, and they don't migrate.
