After cleaning some dishes, I was finally able to buy a Betta Fish. I went to the pet store with Sunaga and chose this one. His name is GreenLight. Sunaga gave me that name, and I decided to keep it.
The pictures I took aren't great, but I TRIED this time.

Enjoy all of the pictures. He's more like a Super Delta, but I noticed his fins have 'stretched'? I love him. He's a weird little fish that makes little holes in the rocks and sits there for the night. I got him on Sunday so he's probably not use to the cat, my sister screaming and the light always on in my room.

Thank you, and yes. I got him at Big Al's. Sunaga and I are cousins. She introduces me to bettas after I saw one that she bought.

Aww, he is a little cutie! :wub: Pretty color of green on him too..
On a side note, you mentioned your betta picks up rocks and whatnot.
-My first betta Graikos would rest on his side in a plant. It was way cute.

He is doing really good. I noticed that he's been more 'active' and his fins got brighter. I did join BBC today.

Thank you. It is deffinately cute to have little fishies to things like that.

As a matter of fact, I'm already preparing for the breed. I'm going to breed him in mid-june. All I need is a 10 gallon tank (because my old one broke) and a female. I need some more suplies but those were the most important.
By the way, GreenLight is too funny. Everytime I make him flare, he always nips the glass thinking that the fish is in the bowl with him. It's very amusing.

Yeah, he grew too.
He's probably twice the size now, and compared to my other fish, he is the smartest.
Like you said, he only needs a girly, and it's taking some time to find one.

I went to 4 stores, I think maybe 5, can't remember.
BettaBreedersCanda LOL and a few websites.
All I can find are 25$ fish with an OMG high amount of shipping mostly because I'm in Canada.

Maby you should contact Tim. I dont know what he sells his females for but you can ask I think its $5 per female but in not shur if thats the same if you dotn buy a male. He should be cheeper than inporting as you have a lot of cost with that. Hes up north in Ontario... Pembroke...

I got a picture of GreenLights new and improved 2.5 gallon tank.
I also got a picture of his bubblenest. Right after he created one that was about half his tank, I killed it after putting some Moss Balls inside, if I didn't kill it, it would've covered his whole tank by the time I would clean his him.
I'll also talk with my mom. :P
