Well this was my first real painting lol. I did it in grade 6 so I was.... 11 or 12.

That's really good for an 11 - 12 year old! It's obvious a lot of work went into it. You should be extremely proud of yourself! How big is it?

16in by 19 in And after I did that one I also did a pastell the same size but I did trees this time.

That's a good size! Do you have a picture of your trees?

Those are wonderful! It looks like you got some talent. Stick with it. There will be times that you'll be amazed at what ends up on the canvas. I'm so glad you shared those with us! Your self portrait turned out really nice. Self portrait are so hard to do! I don't understand what you mean about the hair though. Did you have something glued onto the canvas to give your hair 3D?

No but as it is Oil pastel some of its come off. Though I even sprayed it to seal it.
