Some rescues and friends animals that I have helped in some way
Tabatha:
She is a very dominant little dog, I am a self taught dog trainer, and now after telling them some things they can do, he is better, but not exactly perfect..

Me and Chester:
My friend, grandmother and I took the dogs out for a late night walk, and found him outside, he followed us home, it was below zero, and there was no one home at his house, we banged on their door, but no one came, so we took him, my grandparents kept him for a while, but then one day he slipped through the fence and some neighborhood kids caught him, not sure exactly where he is now.

This is Tippy, one of my saddest cases ever:
She was my friend's dog, she got poor nutrition, was over weight, lived in a chicken coop, and never had her run cleaned. The first time I wet her, it was getting dark out, it was raining, and I was determined to clean that yard up, it was disgusting, she hadn't been out of there in years! I slowly started to leash train her, and she was doing well. The morning after my friend's birth day party, we were bathing her other dog *a grossly obese black lab* her brother came in and told us that tippy was one her side twitching, I jumped up and after and unsuccessful search for my shoes ran out into the snow, she was having seizures and looked hypothermic. There was no was into the yard except through her doggy door because the gate was frozen shut. Her parents weren't home, and i was the only one who had at the very least basic knowledge on what to do, they got me a bag of linens and I got her set on some blankets to get her off the ice, where she lay was a dog shaped melted spot in the ice, and her mouth and nose was in a puddle, meaning she was there for a few hours like this.
It took me an hour *or at least it felt like it* to get her to stop seizureing after i had her relatively stable, and has her body temperature up enough for her to start shivering again. Her brother brought me an ax, and I got the door open, i don't think I've been more precise in my life lol.. We get her on a pallet and about 10 minuets later her parents got home, *we had been out there for more than 2 hrs * They took her to the vet reluctantly, and she was put to sleep the next day...I was 15 or 16 at the time
This picture was taken the day after we cleaned her run.

Their other dog

On a happier note ;)
A frog I rescued and released, some one was going to fish with him, and set a rock on his leg and forgot about him. I found him probably minuets from drowning, it took about 2 months for his broken leg to heal, he was a very nice frog, but he kept escaping, I would find him every morning in the dogs water bowl, if I didn't have other pets I probably would have kept it as a free range frog lol, but I released him down the road into a breeding pond for the local frogs...

Hunny:
My favorite rescue of all time, if I had the chance I would do it all over again, only next time I will have a larger outside run for it so it could get more exercise, but then again, now that i'm 18, I've had time to get my room rodent proofed lol..maybe this summer, who knows ;)
