Here's my divided 10g and divided 20long that I have set up for bettas:

2.5g with one female betta, and a 10g tank with dwarf platies:

5.5g with 13 dwarf platy fry, second shelf is a 2.5g quarantine tank, and 2.5g with a red-clawed crab:

Very nice! You have some lucky fish there! You'll have to try and get a picture of your red-clawed crab. I'd like to see what he/she looks like.

Rosen,
your tanks are very lovely.
have you tried any real plants? Plastic plants can be kinda hard on betta's fins and can damage them, leading to infections and such... but they still look nice.
;)

I've made an effort to use either silk plants or very rounded and smooth plastic plants with my bettas. And yes, I've tried live plants and I can't seem to keep them alive for anything... lol

Thanks, I was thinking about some plants for my 55g, I'll be sure to ask around here when the time comes to do that. :)

May I suggest java fern? They are indestructible, I promise.
I took some fronds out of a tank, and forgot them, because I was breaking the tank down.. Found then dried out like a month later, and on a whim tossed them in the snail tank.. well.. Those fronds turned mostly black, but every one of them started sprouting babies.
I have to try to get pictures, it is truly amazing.
