Seeing as the site is very outdated, I think the calculator could have some faults. I am sure the understanding of betta genetics is far more advanced since this calculator was created. A few of the inputs seem to be different from my understanding of how some genetics works. Anyway, I think it is really cool, but could use an update. Great idea though!

Deep Blue Bettas was my FIRST betta forum.
I should say the first one I ever joined.
All it can do is give you a general idea of what you could get.
But as with anything the percentages work best when they are over a large number, and several spawns, then you'll see the trend predicted manifest.
